I had my Disney Fairytale Wedding on 9-8-22 at the Disneyland Hotel. Guest count was 90 with the ceremony at the Rose Court Garden and reception at the Sleeping Beauty Pavilion. Kimberly did a fantastic job as my day of coordinator making sure everything went to plan and when things didn’t go as planned, she corrected them and I would have never known if my bridal party hadn’t of told me afterwards. She was kind, helpful, and being a former Disney bride herself she knew the grounds inside and out and even knew some of the cast members. When my Disney planner messed up my table chart, she argued with them knowing that it wasn’t what I wanted and without her support my dad would have been seated next to the cake instead of next to the head table. I can’t recommend Kimberly enough, her and her team helped my make fairytale wedding come true

On our wedding day and rehearsal as well she kept the whole crew on top of everything, and everything ran on time and seamlessly. I remember she came over to us during dinner reception and reminded us to take a moment to take it all in with each other – I now realized how important that was as I am still dreaming of that day and reliving all the moments in my mind. At the end of the evening – everything got packed neatly away into our cars so all we had to do was drive back. It was so amazing to work with her we cannot thank her and her team enough for their efforts to make our special day the best ever.

I could not have imagined what my entire wedding planning experience would have been without the help of Carissa and her team. My husband and I knew from the beginning that we needed help with the wedding planning process. Prior to our wedding, my husband spent about 7 months working out of town, so a LOT of the planning landed on me, and having her help was what we needed. She always added her two cents, if asked, but still kept in mind what we needed and wanted. Carissa even helped us navigate a VERY STRESSFUL, unexpected, venue change 6 weeks before our wedding. When we started wedding planning we weren’t sure if we would have any kind of wedding planner or coordinator but we are SO glad we decided to work with Clemence from The Perfect Pair Wedding!! We hired Clemence to be our day-of coordinator and we honestly couldn’t have gotten through the day without her and her wonderful assistant Emily! We spoke on the phone about working together and were immediately excited to work with her. Clemence is so sweet and fun to chat with, but also very straightforward which we knew we needed as we can both be a bit wishy washy when making decisions. If you are looking for an amazing wedding planning team - YOU FOUND THEM. Korina and her team were easily the BEST choice we made when it came to our wedding choices. They went above and beyond for us in every single way!! My husband, Kap and I got engaged 5/5/21 in San Diego where we recently settled down. The first and hardest decision to start wedding planning, was finding the right team. We searched through at least 20 different wedding planning teams. We got referred to Korina and the moment we met - we clicked. She just got our vision and was so invested in us as a couple. We got married on 5/5/23 so, we worked together very closely for two years!! We decided to go with the full planning package. And it was worth every penny. When Kap and I talk about our wedding, we say Korina was the best we spent. She spent a ton of time with over over a few years and kept us on track in our planning process. Korina and her team are extremely detail oriented and layed out the planning process in an easy manner. She used a software to keep us organized and it broke down each step into a task. This was HUGE because my husband and I had crazy work hours during our planning process. So we could log in anytime to see based on how far out we were, what needed to be accomplished. We chose Scripps Seaside Forum in La Jolla for our venue. It was beautiful but, you have to bring in all your own vendors which felt a bit overwhelming. Luckily, Korina and her team have a great reputation so, she had an amazing list of vendors she introduced us too. So, we had a handful recommended to us so, we could easily choose which one fit our budget and our vision. She also helped us prioritize where we wanted our money to go based on what we cared about most - like photography and rental design. One of the hardest things to find in a wedding planning team, is the ‘human aspect’ — this means someone who genuinely cares about you as a couple and to help you create the wedding of your dreams. During our planning process, I lost my dad. She sent some flowers and gave me some space when I needed it the most. (Literally crying thinking about how nice this was). She was so kind. Having a wedding can sometimes mean a lot of people in your life have a lot of opinions. Kap and I wanted to have a lot of non traditional things about our wedding. We made the wedding about us and our love versus focusing on the traditional things you are ‘suppose’ to have. She made this so easy and simple and supported us in every way. She helped plan our timeline down to the MINUTE! This made it easy for us to enjoy every minute and eachother throughout the day! Last but definitely not least, Korina has an EYE for design. Outside of our love being front and center, I had a specific vision I saw for Kap and I. Korina helped us negotiate with vendors, stay within our budget, and push back on our venue to use the second floor for cocktail hour. It was hard with the timing and rentals but she MADE IT HAPPEN!!!!! Korina is the definition of a sweet and hardworking entrepreneur. The day of our wedding she was calm cool and collected. She directed her team with poise and elegance. It was amazing to see her in her element. She has a tough job but by looking at her — you would never know how much she does behind the scenes. We would HIGHLY recommend using Serene Events and Design to anyone in the SoCal area. It will easily be the best decision in your wedding planning process!!!!!

Karla and her team were the best! I cannot recommend them enough. From the moment we started our wedding planning journey to the day we said "I do," Karla has been there to help us prepare. Her expertise when it comes to coordinating weddings was excellent as she was very knowledgable about the ends and out of the day. Her team were on point, and she wrangled all of our vendors, so we didn't have to worry about those details and organization. I think what I loved most about the time, my now wife and I had with Karla, was that she helped us breathe on the wedding day and realize that it was all going to go according to plan. I personally underestimated how chaotic a wedding day could be, but Karla was there to help center me. Something important for our wedding was being able to converse in both English and Spanish. Karla and her team were great in this aspect too, allowing for both families to be seen and feel heard. As when it comes to weddings, taking care of the family helps the people getting married become more at ease, well at least it did in my case. Again, I am not sure I could say enough about Karla, she is a true professional, and I felt like I made a friend in the process. I would Highly, and I stress highly recommend her for you wedding. You won't regret it.

Miranda was such an essential part of our day and why it ran SO smoothly. If anything did not, I still don't know about it. Miranda was the main point of contact with our vendors the weeks leading up to the wedding which took a lot of stress off of me. Chelsea did an amazing job coordinating our wedding! My husband and I agree that we hit the jackpot when it comes to wedding planners. Calmerin was the best investment we made for our wedding, hands down!!! Glennie and Ashton were incredible from the start to finish. We knew from the very first phone call that they were going to 100% on top of it, and we were right! The organization and detail of this team is top-notch. We hired them for Jade Package, which is similar to day-of-coordination (which is really more month-of), and was super important given our majority DIY wedding with 170 guests. Plus, Glennie and Ashton were such lovely, kind, and genuine people!! While the bulk of the details and communication was in the month leading up to our wedding, we had access to all of the planning docs as soon as we sent our deposit. The planning docs are AMAZING and so detailed, making us feel like we could transfer all of our knowledge/plans/thoughts to them. This was really important for us since we were doing the majority of the planning, and they executed phenomenally. We were also able to ask them for questions, such as a DJ recommendation. Glennie and Ashton were fantastic during the thorough venue walk-through, video calls, rehearsal with our wedding party, and on the day-of. We were able to drop off all of our wedding stuff (2 SUVs full) the morning of with set-up directions, and we showed up and it looked better than we had imagined/planned for! The tight set-up window from our venue was stressful, but Glennie and Ashton made sure everything was ready to go. They were so great at communicating with our vendors (we got many compliments!) They only texted us 1 small question the day-of, knowing that we were stressed and busy. They were AMAZING throughout the whole night, making sure we were on schedule and that we had everything we needed. We could go on and on about how amazing the team was and how happy we are that we worked with them. Best decision, book them before their calendars fill!

To accomplish this without any mistakes, I hired a wedding planner. How to find the right planner can be stressful. You want someone who listens, is organized, has great resources, and is fun to work with. I thankfully found Michelle Tu, Somni Events, through the recommendation of our wedding venue, the Bel Air Bay Club, and she is all of those things. Michelle is everything you could want in a planner. She is not only organized, but she keeps you on track as well. I thought it would be tricky with the bride and groom in New York and the wedding in Los Angeles. But Michelle made it easy—Coast to Coast Zoom planning meetings and design meetings. She gave us great options for florists, videographers, photographers, hair and makeup artists, etc. Michelle uses a platform to make it easy to upload guest lists, keep track of those who are attending, create table seating with ease, and a timeline for us to make sure we have completed things such as when to get the marriage license and when to order the wedding invitations, as well as when each payment is due for each vendor. She also handles all the contracts for the vendors. On the day of the wedding, Michelle and her staff make sure the wedding ceremony and the event run smoothly. She allows the bride and groom and their families to enjoy the event without any worries about any of the details. I could not have had such a wonderful time at our son’s wedding, without Michelle. The bride and groom could not have been happier.

Her taste is impeccable, she has an attention to detail that you will deeply respect, and she will help you create a cohesive design element that will have you and your guests blown away. From the ceremony design all the way down to the drapes and the cutlery, Natalie has a keen eye for creating a gorgeous yet comfortable/welcoming design. Congratulations! You’ve just found the best coordinator ever! My husband and I knew we wanted a “day of coordinator” (so we thought it was called) but did not know exactly how much to prioritize or what to ask for. And then we pretty much stumbled upon Emily after posting in a local facebook group about needing a coordinator and we are so grateful we did. We’ve actually joked to one another that our only wedding regret is not having hired Emily to plan the whole thing. Emily is professional, personable, and an incredible problem-solver. Emily does coordination, which means she actually jumps on board a couple months in advance to get you organized and get all of the vendors together. However, it would be a mistake to say she only gets involved at that point—from the moment we chose Emily, she checked in consistently, asked how she could help, and gave us leads as we navigated picking vendors. When we hit the 8 week mark before the wedding, Emily began initiating more meetings and gathering all of the information she needed. We did a venue walk through and a meeting dedicated to decor. This is all to say—Emily has got your back. Additionally, she is always working behind the scenes to make sure everyone is on the same page. Leading up to the wedding, we had been very organized, but of course, in the week or so before the wedding, it felt like total chaos. We added people to our hair/makeup schedule. We had to add a last-minute vendor that totally changed the flow of our set-up. Suddenly three days before the wedding, the forecast called for rain. Emily took this all in stride. She reassured us that our feelings about anything were valid and then promised she would figure out whatever we wanted to have happen. She always had multiple solution-options for every moment of chaos we felt. And then once we had decided what we wanted, she made it happen! On the day of the wedding, I was completely worry-free because I knew Emily had everything under control. Apparently a few things went wrong that neither my husband nor I knew about until later because Emily just handled it (she did check in about one thing that had been important to us, but when she asked about it, she came with multiple solution options for me to pick from). She also goes above and beyond to make anything right if there is a need to do so (all wedding have things go wrong!). All-in-all, you want a coordinator who is on top of things, but you also want one that you want to spend your day with and Emily strikes that balance perfectly. We were actually sad when our wedding ended and we realized we wouldn’t be chatting with her as regularly!
