    The best decision we made in the wedding planning process was choosing Mostest to connect us with a day-of-coordinator. From the moment we connected with Valerie she was a true professional and such a delight to work with! Any worry or stressor that we had leading up to the day was always addressed and taken care of.     I'm so grateful Mostest connected us with Joanna, our amazing day-of coordinator. Joanna really went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. She was always accommodating and understanding during our weekly planning calls, even when they went over, created detailed checklists, seating charts, and schedules to keep all of our vendors on the same page, and took care of setting up all our personal items and making sure they were returned to us at the end of the night. I honestly don't know what we would have done without Joanna and the Mostest team - they truly made our wedding day stress-free and special.

    We were matched with Valerie as our day-of-coordinator and the entire experience was a major success! Admittedly, a coordinator felt like an unnecessary luxury at the beginning of our wedding planning, but it was required by our venue. Cut to October and our first video call with Val - I found myself already saying "she's the best money we've spent on this entire wedding!" She answered every bullet point of every rambling email, held my vendors accountable, and kept everyone calm. I had the best day of my life marrying my best friend and I'll tell everyone that Val made it all possible. No matter how capable you already are, I can guarantee that Val's help is a ten-fold investment. She's also just cool as heck.

    I wish I had a more positive experience! I was so excited going into this process and even my first few meetings with my MOC were positive. I understand she is only one coordinator of how many they employ, but I really feel I needed to share my experience so this doesn’t happen to another bride! Our coordinator did help with the vendor communication and handling details with the venue, but unfortunately that’s where it ended. I had to repeat myself multiple times and was asked the same questions call after call, which started to get worried for day of but I stayed hopeful. I sent directions and details about decor set up with pictures to make sure everything was clear and I could enjoy my day without being asked a million questions. I’m not sure if she didn’t read them or what but I was asked so many questions while I was getting ready, all of which I had answered on our calls or were in my written instructions and photos. She filled the room with stress every time she came in, and my wedding party and family felt it as well. I had a seating chart, and after the ceremony I saw some guests through the window sitting at a table that wasn’t correct and brought it to her attention. She swore up and down that everything was done correctly and exactly how we had discussed and how it was written in the chart, so much so that I had to almost argue with her to go double check because I KNEW something was wrong. Loand behold I see her moving the name cards around and knew something was not done right. She then interrupted our couple portraits to tell me that the catering put the name cards down wrong, which doesn’t make sense because we discussed SHE would put the name cards down and just minutes before told me she had done it exactly the way i wrote. But even then I was still annoyed because it was her job and she didn’t check and THEN argued with me about it when I knew something was wrong?? We ran out of white wine and we were interrupted in our couple portraits by my brother in law to tell us because our coordinator insisted someone ask us what we wanted to do about it when my father in law assured her they should just fix the problem and not bother us, but of course she argued with him and brought more stress to us. Cherry on top was when she came up to me after the MOH speech and started rubbing my cheek with her thumb and when I asked if my mascara had run she just said “oh no it’s just your makeup is a little messed up so maybe don’t show that side of your face” which is exactly what every bride wants to hear on her wedding day. Overall some things were done okay but I was very irritated with all the repeated questions especially after I went out of my way to leave detailed instructions. I was very disappointed to hear how many people felt her stress and how much tension she brought into the room with her.
