Hi! I’m Steph, owner and lead wedding planner of SC Signature Celebrations, and your personal stress reliever. I’m a former educator turned wedding planner. I love balancing my creative spirit with my logistical expertise to make peoples’ dream days come true. After 8 years of event planning, I decided to focus on weddings because I’m passionate about creating lifelong memories. I’m here to collaborate with you on creating your dream wedding day!
At SC Signature Celebrations, we specialize in combining thoughtful design, expert logistics, and polished execution so your wedding feels cohesive, intentional, and effortless. From curated décor to seamless timelines, every detail has a purpose - and you and your loved ones get to enjoy the day. We offer three packages and a collection of upgrades so we can tailor your planning experience to exactly what you need. We are based in Charlotte, NC, and we serve the Carolinas, Southeast, and wherever your love story takes us!

This woman changed my life
From the moment we started planning almost two years before our wedding, Steph completely understood our vision. She never tried to steer us toward what a wedding "should" look like—instead, she encouraged us to create a day that felt authentic to us, even when our choices were a little unconventional. Having someone who genuinely supported what *we* wanted made the entire planning process so much less stressful. She also somehow managed to talk me through every single one of my little wedding planning menty b's. Whether I was spiraling over tiny details or showing up with what felt like completely unhinged ideas or last-minute thoughts, she never made me feel like I was being ridiculous. She listened, reassured me, and somehow always found a way to make me feel calm and confident again. Having someone who could balance professionalism with that level of kindness and patience made all the difference. The greatest gift Steph gave us was our wedding day. I can honestly say I have no idea if anything went wrong, because if it did, we never knew about it. My husband and I were able to be fully present with each other and soak in every moment. We never left each other's side, and at one point we even snuck away during the reception for a little nap because we were feeling overstimulated. Instead of worrying about timelines, logistics, or putting out fires, we got to experience the day exactly as we had hoped: together. It wasn't until days and even weeks after the wedding that we learned some guests had opinions about a few of our non-traditional choices, like not taking formal photos with every single guest or taking time for ourselves during the reception. The fact that we didn't know any of that in the moment is a testament to Steph. She protected our peace and made sure we stayed in our own little magical bubble all day long. Looking back, that's what stands out the most. Our wedding wasn't perfect because everything went exactly according to plan—it was perfect because we got to be completely present with each other, free from stress and outside expectations. That is an incredible gift, and one we'll always be grateful for. Steph is so much more than an amazing wedding planner. After nearly two years of planning together, she's become a friend, and I can't imagine having gone through this journey with anyone else. If you're looking for someone who will truly listen, advocate for your vision, calm your anxieties, embrace your wild ideas, and make sure you actually get to enjoy your wedding day, Steph is the person you want by your side.

Stellar team!
Steph and her partner Chris were incredible. We had a pretty simple but unconventional wedding, and they drove up a couple hours from where they live to help us with our day. Steph was 2 steps ahead of everything, communicating with vendors and guests alike to truly give us a perfect night. We really appreciated the tips on details like how to stand/where to pause during the ceremony, among everything else. The Best Wedding Decision You Will Make!
Steph always went above and beyond in planning/coordinating our wedding. She had detailed plans and timelines prepared and she discussed them thoroughly with both my husband and I before the wedding to make sure everything suited us personally before executing the timelines flawlessly. She handled any problems that came up during the wedding and assisted in cleaning up afterward. Steph is absolutely incredible and you can’t go wrong choosing her as your planner/coordinator. It will be the best wedding/party decision you will make!
