Are you part of a team? Who will we be working with?

Accepted Answer

Jordan and MKayla are the founders, owners, and lead planners of J+M Event Co. We have a team of experienced event professionals on rotation, and maintain a minimum of 2 team members on-site for every wedding, including at least 1 lead planner. That means you will have either Jordan and a team member, MKayla and a team member, or both Jordan and MKayla on site for your wedding day. According to wedding size, scope, and complexity, your wedding may have more than 2 team members on site, but 2 team members is our minimum for all weddings.

Question 2

Do you also plan other events, like showers or rehearsal dinners?

Accepted Answer

We are available for all types of events large and small, but our wedding clients receive priority booking access. All of our coordinating packages include ceremony rehearsal prior to the wedding day at no additional charge. Coordination of the rehearsal dinner itself, welcome parties, bridal showers, etc are separate services and may be accommodated according to availability.

Question 3

Do you take on multiple weddings in a day or weekend?

Accepted Answer

We assign staff to our booked weddings in advance so that our team members can provide undivided attention to the weddings they are responsible for. The number of events in the same day or weekend greatly depends on the size, scope, and complexity of each event. We may accommodate more than one wedding or event in the same weekend according to staffing and event needs, however, we do not assign more than one wedding or event to the same team members in the same day.

How much time should we expect to spend with you?

Although our hands-on planning work begins within the dedicated planning window assigned to each package, we ensure our clients are never without support. Our team is always available to provide guidance from booking to the wedding date. Should questions arise or decisions feel time-sensitive, we invite our couple's to reach out. Otherwise, you can expect us to step in more actively once the planning window in your package officially begins. During the planning window allotted in the package you choose, you can expect to hear from us regularly during check ins, scheduled planning meetings, and vendor consultations.
