My name is Katie Cole, and I am the Founder/Head Planner at Palmetto River Planning. I have been planning weddings and events since 2021, and decided to establish my own company in Spring of 2024. I am trustworthy, honest, dedicated, and am known for paying close attention to detail. With a passion for this industry, it is my personal goal to make every couple a member of the Palmetto River family and ensure that all our couple's have a worry-free and magical day.
I am dedicated, trust-worthy, pay a great attention to detail, fun, and organized! I am big on great communication and love helping my clients. I truly take the time to get to know all my clients and become part of their family!

BEST Money I Spent !!!
Katie and her team made my daughter's wedding so spectacular! We could NOT have done it without them. They made the bride feel so special and cared for all day even while working tirelessly to help set up and keep everything running smoothly. They had great attention to detail and even stopped to help make sure sure I (mother of the bride) felt confident tying the cords for their handfasting ceremony. They did not leave until everything was torn down and cleaned. I had great vendors for her wedding, but THIS was the BEST money I spent, hands down. Would recommend 10/10!!!!!

BEST WEDDING COORDINATOR
We had such an amazing experience with Katie! She was thoughtful, organized and clear with her communication. She made the day smooth and seem less with my large family! (She was very good at wrangling the cats.) I would recommend her for everyone’s wedding and she will be the coordinator for the rest of my families weddings! We love Katie and the PRP family!

Amazing Coordinators!
I mostly planned my wedding myself but knew that I did not want to have to worry about anything but walking down the aisle on the day of. Katie and Kylie absolutely made me feel like I was in great hands. I knew that I trusted them to make any decisions last minute or on my behalf. They were flexible when things inevitably happened that we were not expecting. It was also great to bounce ideas and get their genuine and honest feedback. The day went smoothly and I know that was largely because of them!

Katie and her team were phenomenal! Working with her for over a year planning my wedding was such a joy. As someone with a huge Type A personality, I was nervous about finding a wedding planner who cared as much about the details of my wedding as I did. Katie and the team at Palmetto River Planning not only met, but exceeded our expectations! Katie is detail oriented and extremely thorough in her communication, so I had zero worries going into the wedding day. On the day of, Katie managed some weather related delays of setup, any vendor mishaps/questions, and kept the night running smoothly. I truly cannot say enough good things about Katie and the Palmetto River Planning team - I recommend them to everyone I know who is planning a wedding!
