Amazing wedding planner - 10 Stars**
Where do I even begin? Liz is truly a one of a kind human being. I don’t think I could ever fully put into words how exceptional she is. Her warm, genuine personality, constant professionalism, and humble, grounded presence made every part of the planning process feel supported, organized, and despite my natural overthinking stress. We didn’t originally plan on hiring a wedding planner. But about nine months out, I quickly realized I needed help. Choosing Liz ended up being one of the best decisions we made. She guided us through every detail with ease and confidence. Not only did she help manage our entire wedding, but she also planned our honeymoon, which turned out to be beyond anything we ever could have imagined. One of our top activities in Aruba opened for reservations the day after our wedding, and Liz booked it immediately that morning to get us in. She booked all activities and restaurants for us. Anytime I had a question, which was often, she responded within minutes or simply called me. She made everything fun, approachable, and stress-free. She kept detailed tabs on every task and ensured nothing slipped through the cracks. Even when I had the majority of vendors and plans in place, she refined everything with such precision. She understood my personality and how overwhelmed I can get, even when things are technically “done,” and she guided me through everything with patience and grace. The week of the wedding, she checked in frequently. On the day of, she was phenomenal. Every detail was set up exactly how we envisioned it. Labeling bins and décor helped her and her assistant move seamlessly, and I’m so grateful because she executed our entire moody/vintage aesthetic vision flawlessly. Two days before the wedding, when I couldn’t find greenery anywhere, Liz made one or two calls and found it instantly. I’ll never forget when I urgently needed our honeymoon flight information for our rental car info and she literally pulled over on the highway to send it to me. That is who she is, someone who goes above and beyond in ways most people wouldn’t even consider. Her pricing is more than fair, and her service is worth every single penny. Whether you need full-service planning or just check-ins, she adapts to exactly what you need. I had most things planned, but still had countless details and small several questions lol. No matter how minor or silly they felt, she always responded with kindness and expertise. Our FaceTime meetings became a highlight of the planning process. Occasionally, her pups or her daughter would pop into the frame, making everything feel personal-not like a business transaction, but like talking to a friend who genuinely cared about us and our day. Liz is an amazing planner, but she is an even better human. Humble, compassionate, creative, organized, and incredibly knowledgeable, especially with florals. I made my own centerpieces, and with her guidance, they turned out exactly how I imagined. Russell and I are endlessly grateful she was part of our wedding. I could cry thinking about how much she did for us. Liz, thank you for making our day perfect. Thank you for your dedication, your heart, your time, and your incredible talent. We truly could not have done any of this without you. No wedding turns out perfect, but everything Liz was involved with/in charge of - was. We are forever thankful for her.
A True Professional
I own and operate a private event bartending company, and I had the absolute pleasure of working with Perfect Day Events for a wedding this past weekend. Liz (Owner & wedding planner) absolutely blew me away with her performance. As a wedding vendor myself, I have worked with many planners & day-of coordinators, and I have never had an experience even close to as seamless and smooth as this one. She was extremely involved in the planning process, being present for a venue tour with the couple, other vendors & I, as well as sitting in on our planning calls where we built the couple's cocktail & beer/wine menu. On the day-of, she was on top of everything as if she was more than one person. She was professional, personable, and productive. Everything flowed smoothly with her at the wheel. I am truly impressed with Liz & I hope to get to work with her again in the future. I hope you'll stop your search for a wedding planner/coordinator after reading this review and hire this company. Liz Is The Best!!
My husband and I recently got married on October 11, 2025. We used Liz for our wedding planner/coordinator for our wedding and I am so thankful we did. At our first meeting with Liz, my husband and I felt comfortable working with her. Liz was knowledgeable about the wedding market; where to find the needed items, trends, what works best at weddings, understanding our guests' needs and helping us be as prepared and ready we could be for our wedding day. At the venue we had booked, we were responsible for bringing in the caterer, bartender, ect and we wanted someone we could trust to make sure everything ran smoothly in the background while we enjoyed our day with our guests. For almost 2 years, we met with Liz on a frequent basis, checking off tasks and going over details. Liz was with us every step of the way and no question was too stupid to ask. About a month before our wedding I called Liz in a panic-i was just feeling overwhelmed. Liz listened, validated my feelings, and helped break down the tasks so they didn't feel as overwhelming. Day of the wedding, not only did Liz coordinate with our vendors to come up with a rain plan, she kept checking in with my husband and I to make sure we were okay. She brought us drinks, cups of water, got us plates of hor'd'vers and kept everything running smoothly. We had rented many of our decorations through Liz. She and her team decorated our reception and cocktail area beautifully. I cried when I saw it for the first time- she did a fantastic job. Many of my guests came up to me throughout the evening and commented on how beautiful everything looked. My parents commented on how friendly and attentive Liz and her co-workers were. We cannot thank Liz enough for everything she did for us. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect.
Worth every penny
Liz was incredible to work with - she has so much knowledge of the industry we had help every step of the way. Not only that but knew how to best use our budget and was a great advocate for us with our vendors. We had the most perfect day ever and it went so smoothly with Liz and her awesome team.
