Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. Your wedding day is incredibly important, and it is truly unfortunate that the experience did not align with your expectations. We would like to respectfully clarify several points to ensure the full context is understood. Weather & Rain Plan As with all weddings, weather conditions are outside of anyone’s control. Due to the rain on your wedding day, the rain plan had to be enacted to prevent guests from getting soaked. Implementing a rain plan will naturally cause timeline adjustments, including pushing back the ceremony start time. These steps were taken solely to ensure the comfort and safety of everyone present. Because of the rain, guests could not remain outside during setup as originally planned. This required bringing them indoors earlier than scheduled, which unfortunately resulted in guests witnessing setup in progress. The indoor space was limited, which made the transition more challenging than in normal conditions. Floor Plan & Layout Adjustments A floor plan was provided in advance. However, due to the rain plan, tables originally planned for outdoors had to be relocated indoors for safety reasons. This required rearranging seating and altering the layout from the original design. Staffing & Coordination There was a coordinator onsite and assigned to manage the event until the lead planner arrived. At no point was the event left without professional oversight or direction. DJ & Music Requests Announcements were being made throughout the event, so we are unsure where that concern originated. Additionally, the bride’s mother made several real-time music requests, and the DJ must also respond to the audience’s energy to maintain a smooth flow. This required balancing the pre-selected playlist with guest requests and audience engagement. Post-Wedding Communication The lead planner has been away due to her own wedding on October 25th which you and all other clients were made aware of . She and her family were unexpectedly stranded in Jamaica due to Hurricane Melissa and multiple flight cancellations. This severely limited her ability to communicate, and we apologize for any delays this caused. Pearls Wedding Planning & Design strives to provide the best possible experience for each couple.
