    Teyanna an her team went above and beyond for my wedding. My family stressed me out during the process and my mom was very overbearing but Teyanna made sure to make her feel included in the planning process; which I really appreciated. Teyanna kept me on track with my budget ensuring I didn’t overspend as sometimes I like things that are outside of my financial reach. She never tried to force her will on me and always made sure what I wanted was at the forefront. On the wedding day, I arrived to the bridal suite at the venue and there was already breakfast there waiting for me and my bridesmaids and hair and makeup team. The groom and team had food and drinks also even though they arrived much later. The whole day was absolutely perfect and Teyanna made sure everything was on time as my family has a problem being on time. Teyanna never broke a sweat and planned my whole wedding with ease. I completely recommend Teyanna and her team for your wedding planning. Oh and she did my flowers too and they were stunning. I cried when her assistant brought my bouquet to me. I cried a lot that day but it was all happy tears. Weeks later and I’m still happy and on cloud 9. Hire Teyanna already!

    I first booked Teyanna when her business was still Essence of Flair and I cannot say enough wonderful things about her and the incredible work she did for my wedding design! From start to finish, Teyanna was a joy to work with—her passion and creativity were evident in every step of the process. The flowers were absolutely perfect, exactly what I envisioned, and they made the whole venue come alive. Teyanna took the time to understand my vision, adding thoughtful suggestions and ideas that I hadn’t considered but loved. Working with her was not only exciting but also insightful; her expertise truly brought my dream design to life in a way I couldn’t have imagined. Thanks to Teyanna and her team, my wedding looked more beautiful than I ever dreamed!

    Please note: This vendor is having serious issues with her customers and has created a new name to hide from her reviews explaining how she has stolen thousands of dollars from her customers. WARNING- do not hire Essence of Flair/The Bailey Experience and Teyanna to do to your flowers. The one star reviews here are correct and so much like our experience. We wish we had vetted her more We spent so much time and effort explaining our vison. We sent vision boards, images, went to the Bronx to choose flowers and agreed on a plan. We said that we understood that, if our flower choices exceeded our budget, that we might need to pay more. About a month before the wedding we had to change the configuration of the tables but it had no effect on the number or type of arrangements we chose. In the end Teyanna didn't show up. Her team showed up an hour late which resulted in losing time for dancing and toasts. Her team had no plan with them and had only one type of flower which wasn't even a color was asked for. The bridal bouquet was nothing like what we agreed to and paid for and a huge disappointment. None of the other bouquets or the flower girl hair wreaths were correct. We paid for real candles and she supplied cheap plastic candles which looked awful and we were embarrassed. There were many fewer dinner and cocktail table arrangements than we agreed on and, again, did not have the flowers we agreed to and paid for. She made no contact with us and was rude to our coordinators when they finally got her one the phone. We have asked for a partial refund and she hasn't even responded. She is extremely unreliable and unprofessional. Do yourself a favor and find another person to do your flowers. Luckily, all of our other vendors were wonderful.

    We booked with Teyanna under her previous business named Essence of Flair to do our flowers for our wedding. All throughout the planning process, I was thrilled to work with her and excited to see her work. However, there were a couple red flags along the way that truly should have set off warning bells for me. Many of her check in emails were clearly automated and had incorrect information on them (such as dropoff time). On the day of the wedding, Teyanna is not who delivered our flowers like I had expected. Her delivery person was late and we were missing the loose extra flowers to go on top of our cake. After texting back and forth with Teyanna, she claimed it was not on the invoice and I had to remind her that we had discussed it in our emails. She stated that she would figure it out, but then NEVER GOT BACK TO ME. Thank god my family was able to run to the grocery store and find a matching set of flowers so our cake was not totally bare!! The flowers in my bouquet were lovely, but the corsages and boutonnieres were very basic. To top it all off, when my man of honor put on his boutonniere, all the petals completely fell off the flowers. Luckily, an extra boutonniere was available for him to use. Please do your research before booking with Teyanna!!!
