Hey! I'm Sydney, but most people just call me Syd. I am a wedding and Elopement photographer based in KY & Washington, DC, but ready to jet set wherever you need me. I am an avid yogi, podcast lover, and travel enthusiast. I first picked up a camera at the age of 15 and fell in love with the art of photography. I got my start by photographing portraits of my friends and family. I came to realize that my favorite types of images to capture are the intimate and silly moments between two people in love. My photography style is romantic and timeless. I love working with shadows to get that moody effect that I adore.

I am ready to be your biggest cheerleader and your favorite third wheel. I am here to make you feel 100% comfortable so your images feel real, raw, and true to your relationship. My ideal clients are those couples who aren't afraid to be a lil bit adventurous and embrace imperfection.

    I have had the pleasure of working with Sydney on several weddings and a large styled photo shoot. Not only is she extremely talented, but down-to-earth, patient, kind, and caring. She understands that documenting a couple's wedding is about them, and does everything in her power to deliver what they want and what she, as an artist, believes is the best product - all the while staying in the shadows and capturing those true, raw, candid moments.

    My husband and I worked with Sydney on a vow renewal we did in Washington, DC. We were absolutely blown away by her talent! Not only is she so sweet and fun to be around but her direction and attention to detail captures the truly genuine moments.
