Teyanna was absolutely everything and more! I hired her for day of coordination, decor and florals. She exceeded my expectations. We had a South Asian Muslim wedding. She took the time to listen and understand my culture, wishes and vision. She was extremely realistic and reminded me of my budget and what I could do vs not do. I’m a project manager and extremely Type A. It’s hard to impress me, but she was not only able to impress me but was a step ahead. She and I worked on a timeline and had multiple versions to make sure everything was accounted for. She started advising me several months ahead of my wedding. I’m so grateful for her, it’s so important to have someone day of. If you’re gonna spend tens of thousands of dollars on a wedding HIRE TEYANNA so you can enjoy the day you spent so much time and money on. Teyanna and her team worked so freaking hard, more than anyone I know. I don’t think my wedding would’ve been the way it was without.

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful Rachel Behar and her team are. I came to Rachel after my first planner ghosted me. I had my venue and caterer booked, both of which Rachel knew well, which was helpful. Rachel's network of quality vendors is impressive. My now husband and I got engaged six months before our wedding date, and at no point did I ever feel that I was settling with a vendor due to lack of options. In addition, she and her team took on a lot of communication with my vendors on my behalf, lightening my load of things I needed to figure out for our wedding. In addition to her amazing resources, Rachel and her team are extremely organized and provided a lot of structure (Google docs, 'one month to do's', etc) in the planning process. She and her team were also always available to answer any questions I had throughout the planning process, and were very helpful with their recommendations on items I needed to source for the wedding (via Etsy, Amazon, etc). There wasn't a question I had that Rachel didn't have an answer for. Sadly, I lost my father to cancer two months before my wedding. Rachel and her team were the first ones to send flowers with their condolences, and Rachel reached out saying she was there for anything I needed- a break from planning, a 'to do' list to work on to serve as a welcomed distraction, anything. Words cannot express how much my family and I appreciated her support during such a trying time. Lastly, Rachel and her team excel at taking on a challenge. In addition to our short timeline to plan, I wanted to have a Persian wedding- with it's own unique ceremony & traditions. Even though she had never planned a Persian wedding before, she and her team rose to the challenge, and she helped source wonderful vendors (even finding a Persian officiant all the was from Paris, France!) for our big day. I can wholeheartedly say that our wedding day was as wonderful as it was because of Rachel Behar Events 3

You have to have a cool head about you to ensure that your clients never know what's happening behind the scenes whether everything is going as planned or if there are hiccups along the way. WedWell is the best event planner I've worked with in my 12-year career as a wedding DJ. They bring all of the vendors together as a team to ensure that we are on the same page and are working towards making the event as fun, professional, and smoothly run as possible. I often see them going above and beyond their scope of work to make the wedding a success and it's infectious! As a vendor, that's so important. I feel not like an individual there to do one job, but a part of a team. When we say Taylor EXCEEDED our expectations, we truly mean that. From start to finish Taylor was such a calming and supportive presence in our lives. During the planning portion of our event, Taylor communicated with all of our vendors and made sure we were always on the same page. She was organized and had all of our contracts, seating charts, floor plans etc all in one google doc making it extremely easy to follow and stay on track. She was always responsive and answered every single question we could possibly have. As the wedding got closer, we had weekly calls to make sure we tied up any loose ends and that all the vendors were on the same page. The wedding day was beyond perfect. Taylor looked like a boss woman the whole time with her clipboard and made sure that she was keeping everyone in line and on track of time. There were a few times when things didn’t go as planned like having to move the ceremony inside due to rain and changing the floorpan last minute but she handled that with STRIDE. She made all the executive decisions and explained them to us calmly. We trusted that no matter what, she would make the best decision for us in the end and she 100% did! Everything ended up working out better than planned and we will be talking about this day for years to come. At the end of the event, Taylor helped all the vendors pack everything up and out of the venue and made sure that nothing was left behind. We could not recommend her enough as your wedding planner. She is strong, resilient and intelligent. She is organized, reliable and knows exactly what she is doing! You can really see how much she loves what she does and how she strives to be the best she can be every step of the way. Shout out to her assistant Joy for everything she had her hands on, including being so delicate and gentle while steaming my heavy wedding dress and taking some incredible behind the scenes shots of our day and for just being another amazing person to rely on. Letny (Shindy Studio) was professional, patient, creative, and just overall amazing designer/planner/person to work with! I hired her to design / plan my wedding at the new york botanical gardens in october 2023. up until the wedding date (and even the day after when she dropped off everything i left at the wedding venue to my hotel) she was prepared and only wanted me and my partner to relax. i felt completely confident that she would take care of everything and all the last minute details even when our outdoor wedding became suddenly indoors as it started to torrential downpour. she listened to all our ideas, was super flexible when i told her last minute i want a female magician to perform at the reception, totally nailed the design that i had in mind, and was very communicative and lovely to work with. i would 100% hire letny and shindy studio again (hopefully not for another wedding!) and could not recommend her more. thanks again letny for making my wedding so memorable!

Around the time, I was wrapping up my graduate program and set to graduate the day after I planned on proposing. MVW helped me set the vision for the picnic and coordinated sourcing vendors for the right deals on items that would make the moment extra special. With all the details in place, I was confident in what we had planned and was actually less nervous about the whole bended knee thing because of it. Fast forward to the day of and guess what ... It RAINED!! so the park area I had in mind did not allow folks on the grass after fresh rain so we had to change plans on the fly. Morgan and her super creative brain proposed she and her team set up everything in my apartment instead. That way we could have everything we needed for the occasion within arms reach. She even secretly met me while I was out with my partner at a school event to grab my apartment keys and head over to set everything up while I was out. When we got home, when I say the place looked like MAGIC!! We were both blown away (but of course I had an idea of what to expect). And of course, it went perfectly from there. Menaza (M. O. Everlasting) was amazing for my wedding as my Day of Coordinator. My wedding was on the large size (220 people) and had a lot of moving parts. My husband is Malayali so we wanted to incorporate his traditions along with my catholic ones. So this involved MANY extra details including 3 outfit changes, choreographed dances, and complicated family photos in many locations. To pull this off I new I needed help the day of my wedding. Menaza took care of everything, I had complete trust in her, she handled everything so I could just enjoy my day. I cannot say enough about how incredible it was to work with NYLuxe. Andrea is absolutely phenomenal, and from the first day, I knew I could trust her eye for detail and impeccable style. Wow wow wow! I wanted to take the time to leave the most thorough review of high praise because Debbie's team was absolutely fantastic to work with from beginning to end. We hired Debbie about a month out from our wedding for Day-of coordination as well as to review and revise all of the vendor contracts that we had done prior to hiring her. Debbie picked up sloppy and mismanaged work from a previous planner we parted ways with. It was no easy feat to pick up the previous planner's work and correct it and Debbie dived in head first. She asked thoughtful, detailed oriented questions the entire time to make sure that she executed my vision to the tee. Debbie and I had frequent calls leading up to our wedding detailing every aspect of the wedding and logistics. The logistics of being a NYC DIY-heavy bride without a car we were concerned as it was important to me that we didn't have family and friends setting up on wedding day. Debbie came by and took inventory of all of our DIY materials, picked them up prior to the wedding, set them up wedding day, and then dropped them off back at our house on wedding night. The venue we rented had to be left cleared and clean and Debbie's team did a fantastic job with that and left the place spotless. Debbie also sent me photos of the space for reference. Now for Debbie's team on our wedding day. My family and guests LOVED Debbie's team. They were kind, eager, and did anything my family requested of them. I found out after the fact that one of Debbie's team members helped my stepmom-in-law with her makeup before the ceremony, which was definitely outside of their roles and responsibilities, but they did it with such a smile and grace. I heard multiple stories just like that one of Debbie's team jumping to help wedding guests or even vendors as they needed it during the night. If you are looking for someone detail-oriented who will keep a tight timeline and help you bring your dream wedding to life, I would 100% recommend hiring Debbie. She was worth every penny to my husband and me. And our wedding would have not gone as smoothly as it did without her ability to manage so many different aspects and quickly think on her feet. Kim and CJ are the perfect mix of detail-oriented, thoughtful, creative, and cool under pressure. We hired them for full planning for our wedding weekend at Eastwind Hotel in Windham in June 2023. We started working with them a year before, and they were deeply engaged the entire time. Our wedding was a full weekend (3 days and three events), with lots of different moving parts and activities. Everything was outdoors. We had to bring in and set up a lot of stuff. Not only were they exceptional at knowing and implementing logistics (sound, lighting, rentals, decor, rain plans), they always made sure that the events reflected our personal vision and intentions. The planning process itself was made immensely fun working with them. Because of their expertise, we were able to focus on the creative stuff. We crafted what we hoped the weekend would look like together, planning over calls and the super organized planning spreadsheets Kim and CJ have created. Their systems kept us on track, and we (and our guests!) appreciated how well organized and executed everything was! On Saturday, we had lots of intermittent rain during outdoor events. Kim and CJ kept all our guests dry and happy, shifting schedules and logistics as needed. We were involved in these decisions but also trusted them completely, so were able to be fully present in the day with our guests. Kim’s timelines the day of the wedding ran impeccably; nothing felt rushed and she brought on top notch folks to work the wedding as day of staff. She has a deep knowledge of and relationships with various vendors in upstate New York, everyone was truly excellent. On top of it all, Kim and CJ were truly a joy to work with. Now a month out from the wedding, we are so grateful for how it all went! We miss them terribly! In sum, VNE gets our highest possible recommendation. Do yourself a favor and hire them, ASAP!
