I'm Claire. I opened WedWell in 2014 after I had a terrible experience with the planner for my wedding (which is why I aim for a low stress, high fun planning environment). With over a decade of experience in events, it was time that I started helping couples through the wedding planning process. I love all things weddings: the couples, the venues, the uniqueness, the love, the families, the vows, the toasts, the dancing, the photo booths, the cake (well, any dessert really). I love working with all couples because I truly believe love is love. So let's get started!

Before WedWell...I went to Villanova University (Go Nova!) and received a degree in Psychology. Then I attended New York University, where I received my Master's degree in Counseling - which comes in handy during wedding planning! Beyond that, I feel like I have a unique attitude toward planning. I want to be highly organized - down to the tiniest detail - but then I carry a laid back demeanor into the day so everyone can simply enjoy themselves - vendors, couples, and guests!

Description

With full service planning, we help with the whole planning process from venue selection to when the last guest leaves at the end of your wedding - and everything in between.

We consider partial planning "bookends" or "everything but the venue" full service planning. For some, we help find the venue and provide month-of coordination. For others, we help find the vendors and keep the couple on track through the end of the wedding day. We meet regularly and you'll get regular email support.

You can hire us for a "check-in consulting" session starting at $160 - a one-time two hour conversation about your wedding. Or you can pick and choose the planning support you need and we'll put together a custom proposal. This is a very "choose your own adventure" option.

With "day-of" coordination, you'll get basic email support from the date of hire. Then, full service coordination kicks in about eight-weeks out from your wedding day, which includes two consulting sessions, timeline creation/management, final confirmations, and day-of setup and coordination.

    We could not have imagined a better wedding planner than Claire. She didn’t just make our wedding day flawless—she made the entire 17-month planning process smooth, enjoyable, and stress-free. From the very beginning, her knowledge of vendors and her prior experience with our venue were invaluable in helping us make confident decisions and understand our options. She was incredibly knowledgeable when it came to navigating contract challenges, always thought a step ahead, and kept us calm during the inevitable lulls. What could have been overwhelming felt easy and exciting with her by our side. On the wedding day itself, Claire was nothing short of a miracle worker. She handled every curveball seamlessly—from A/C issues at the venue, to having my second pair of shoes waiting at my seat, to making sure we had leftovers packed up in our room for later. She thought of everything, big and small, so we didn’t have to worry about a thing. And on top of all that, Claire surprised us the very next morning with a video she had put together of clips from the day. It was the most thoughtful, unexpected gift, and brought us right back into the joy of it all. Hiring Claire was the best decision we made during this whole journey. She is not only incredibly talented and professional, but also kind, thoughtful, and genuinely invested in making her couples’ day special. We can’t recommend her highly enough!

    We love Claire! She is beyond organized and responsive. She made sure that nothing fell through the cracks and was in communication with all of our vendors throughout the entire planning process.     We hired Claire for her full services wedding planning and she was an excellent wedding planner! We got married in the Hudson Valley and Claire had extensive knowledge and connections to vendors in that area. Every vendor she suggested was great and did an excellent job at our wedding. Claire also kept us on track which was very important for two people who had very demanding jobs. She was very organized every step of the way from initial vendor contacts to day of wedding coordinating. We would recommend Claire to everyone!
