During his school years, Michael played the bass and later completed a music degree in college. Michael set up his DJ business in 2021 and has been delighting couples and their guests with energetic entertainment since then.
Michael prides himself on his ability to form lasting relationships with his couples. It is more than just a hired hand situation. He really wants to get to know you and your fiance in order to personalize your night and make it special. He makes it a point to have face to face interactions via video call so that you can see his personality, build trust, and make an informed decision. He is also quick to communicate, so expect to receive something back fast if you reach out!

Best DJ ever!
Wow! DJ MC Duke was stunning! From our first call, to the user friendly planning app, to the final calls and then the magical night, every step of the way we felt comfortable and confident that Michael had us covered to enjoy a fun night! He was so attentive and responsive and was so great to work with. We had so many guest tell us what an amazing job he did! He even went around to all the tables to make sure everyone was having a good time. Even the music for the ceremony and cocktail hour was perfect. We really felt special and taken care of and would recommend DJ MC Duke to anyone wanting a professional, fun, energetic, and smooth process for their event. 1000/10 stars! We truly cannot say enough great things about our DJ! From the very beginning, he made everything so easy, stress-free, and fun. He listened so closely to what we wanted, made us feel completely supported throughout the entire planning process, and somehow delivered even more than we imagined. The music, the energy, the flow of the night—he nailed every single moment. He kept the dance floor packed, read the room perfectly, and created the exact party we always dreamed of. Our wedding night was unreal, and so much of that is because of him. We are beyond grateful and would recommend him a thousand times over!

DJ MC Duke was an absolute hero for our wedding ceremony, cocktails, and reception! He did a great job onboarding us for the whole process and made us feel heard and appreciated before we even got to the wedding day! We ended up having several particular requests that include making cuts and edits of existing songs, and MC Duke had absolutely no issue working with us to make everything come together effortlessly. We also got to make our own playlist for pre-ceremony and cocktails! MC Duke even helped my best man drop a huge surprise audio track during his speech — a moment we will never forget. You’ll have a ton of flexibility with setlist options and the dance playlists are absolute bangers. Also definitely ask about his upgrades. We went with CO2 cannons and they were a mega hit with our guests. We genuinely have such gratitude and warmth for Duke and hope to work with him again for future events if we have the chance. Don’t miss out on this wonderful DJ and person — you’ll be in good hands!
