We’re Abe and Chuck, the husband-and-husband team behind Sonora House Events. We’re an intentionally small wedding planning and floral design studio creating thoughtful, elevated celebrations throughout Colorado, Scottsdale, and beyond. We take on a limited number of weddings each year so our couples work directly with us and receive a truly personal experience from the first conversation through the wedding day. Our approach is warm, collaborative, and detail-driven, with every celebration designed to feel beautiful, intentional, and completely personal to our couples.

I never imagined I would become a wedding floral designer—but my journey here has been a natural one. My love for flowers began in the garden and blossomed through a career in interior design, where I developed a deep appreciation for color, texture, and form. Over time, I found myself drawn to the artistry of floral design— the way flowers can evoke emotion, tell a story, and transform a space. Today, my goal is to work with clients not just as a florist, but as a creative partner— collaborating closely to bring their unique vision to life with beauty, intention, and heart.

What started out as a hobby while I was in college has grown into my favorite thing! For the past 15 years I have specialized in wedding and event florals, bringing to life the florals of peoples dreams! My designs are lush and romantic and I pride myself in my use of texture and color to create gorgeous arrangements.
