DeAnne is the absolute best!! She helped us plan our dream wedding and we are so grateful for her! From start to finish, we truly enjoyed working with DeAnne and her team. DeAnne is so knowledgeable, thoughtful, and will really take the time to understand your vision and bring it to life. She is detail-oriented, organized, calm, and supportive. She always made us feel empowered when making decisions, while also offering her professional opinions and expertise. DeAnne helped us do it all: finding the venue, selecting photographer/videographer, selecting a florist, making meal selections, picking our glasses, plates, silverware, stationary, trying our signature drinks, and so much more! One of the things we appreciated most was how she made the process so fun and enjoyable. We truly loved everything about our wedding planning journey. DeAnne was always available to us and promptly responded to all of our questions and concerns. We know she was working with other clients, but honestly it never felt that way. We always felt like a top priority! The day of our wedding was so magical and perfect, and none of that would have been possible without DeAnne and her team. Beyond being an incredible planner, she truly felt like a friend and cheerleader every step of the way, and we couldn’t imagine doing it without her!

Hiring DeAnne was hands down the best decision we made for our wedding. From start to finish, she was an absolute dream, gentle when we had to make tough decisions, affirming when we finally made them, and endlessly supportive throughout, in what is a very stressful process. I have a background in event planning, and my husband (love him) was a little clueless and had a hard time with a lot of the design decisions. She was so patient and did a great job of explaining things in a way that made sense to him! She was able to transform Picnic House in Prospect Park into a beautiful and romantic venue that we had never imagined, and our guests are still raving about the details. Behind the scenes, she handled everything so seamlessly that we were able to enjoy every moment of our day without worry. Dear September brought so much heart to the process, as she found us vendors that completely matched our vibe. She truly understood my vision and brought it to life in a way that I could have never imagined —I still can't believe that was my wedding! Even with some bad weather, she brought quick fixes and made everything seamless. We are endlessly grateful and cannot recommend her enough. If you’re lucky enough to have her as your planner, your wedding will be in the very best hands. Couldn't recommend more!

Hiring DeAnne and Dear September Events was the best wedding planning decision we made. She went above and beyond to select individualized vendors that fit our vision. She was very communicative and available and answered any questions we had. She worked with our vendors and ensured we were not stressed during planning. Our wedding was so beautiful, I am so grateful for DeAnne’s creativity and vision.

Yes! For an additional cost we can take care all of your wedding and other major life events. We highly recommend this for couples who love a though line and want their guests to have a uniquely curated experience that tells their love story from start to finish of the celebrations. Yes! At Dear September we have a small but mighty team. Most client work with our founder, lead planner and designer primarily with some support from our other planners and coordinators. Building a unique and special wedding experience takes a village and we make sure our couples are always supported.

Yes! We love destination affairs and work with our destination clients in a variety of ways that meet their unique needs. From design oversight and curating details to full planning and on site coordination for your destination weekend, we've worked with various destination budgets.

We understand that our services may be out of reach for some clients that wish to work with us and we have a few options that can allow couples with tighter budgets to receive professional support from our team. On occasion when we ave availability, our staff can take on coordination-only clients within 6 months of a wedding date. We also offer 1:1 power planning sessions that will help you make strides in your planning and get you through any roadblocks. Inquire directly for these services.
