Dear September Events is a full service design-centered planning company with a range of offerings that will relieve the stresses of hosting a once-in-a-lifetime occasion. We curate wedding and special event experiences that reflect our commitment to intentional, creative and authentic storytelling. Through our customized and detail-oriented approach, we translate your sweetest fantasies into your most cherished memories.

In 2020, Dear September Events was born out of the collective desire to help people find joy in the midst of chaos and uncertainty. Founded by a 2020 bride, we've seen it all and feel that there's no obstacle we can't help our clients overcome. With years of experience in event management, design, planning and styling paired with a long list of connections to amazing vendors and entertainment professionals, our couples trust us to not only make their wedding day dreams come true, but usher them into their happily-ever-after.

Description

Dear September Events began specializing in intimate events. While the word intimate doesn't necessarily mean small, there isn't anything more intimate than a micro-wedding or elopement. It can be a common misconception that smaller is easier and at the end of the day we want you two to be focused on enjoying each other rather than coordinating with vendors, transporting and styling decor, hailing cabs or attempting to schedule deliveries.

Not only are they incredibly professional and on top of every detail, but they're also refreshingly easygoing and cool. Throughout the planning process, DeAnne and Sarah listened to all of our ideas and visions, offering valuable insights and suggestions, while also respecting our preferences. We wanted a non-traditional wedding and they immediately understood the vibe we were going for and made it happen. On the day itself, Sarah went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. From coordinating with vendors to making sure I was hydrated, and managing last-minute hiccups, she handled every aspect of the event with grace and professionalism, allowing us to relax and fully enjoy the night.     We booked DeAnne a year and half before our wedding. She was incredibly helpful throughout the wedding process. She took time to understand my vision, helped to execute it the day of, and even was there in times when I needed some emotional support. As the day got closer and things became more stressful, she was making sure things were getting done in the background like emailing and confirming with vendors, so that all I had to do at the wedding was show up. Hire DeAnne and her team for your wedding—you won't be disappointed!

    I stumbled upon Dear September in the midst of my wedding entertainment search, as they had worked with the band I had my eye on, and when I found out that they offered design and management packages - I knew I had to book them. Not only did it comfort me to know that they had worked with one of our vendors already, but having planned the majority of our wedding myself, I really just wanted a team to take over venue and vendor communications so that I could be stress-free in the final weeks leading up to the wedding. Well, the Dear September team did just that and more. From checking in to keep our to-do list on track, to meeting with our Officiant to review the ceremony timeline, and even attending our final walk-through at our venue - DeAnne went above and beyond in ensuring that every detail was covered and all of the moving parts came together seamlessly; her colleague, Sarah, was a huge help day-of in coordinating with the family/the Wedding party, and ended up even sewing a Bridesmaid's dress back together! Looking back at our wedding, we are so thankful to have had the Dear September team there to support us.
