Let’s concentrate on the what’s truly important and craft a professionally written ceremony that will set the tone for the celebration. And as you add memories and chapters to your love story on your honeymoon, we’ll plan every step of the way.

As a writer, I've always been moved by the power of words to express emotions. And being the one who narrates the words that I’ve written for a couple on their wedding day while witnessing the effect each word has on their closest friends and family is the greatest honor a writer can have. HLWT is the amalgamation of my talents, my experience, my passions, and all the things that make my heart beat with excitement.

As your wedding officiant and day-of coordinator, the level of care that I tirelessly bring to your wedding planning and ceremony are felt in every moment at the wedding. I'm passionate about sharing your story in a way that moves your guests emotionally through the lens of your relationship. I'm a calming presence and with a penchant for logistics & timelines so that you & your partner will be relaxed and able to be present on your wedding day.

Intimate affairs allow your ceremony to be the focal point of your day, and your pop-up nuptials will be far from clandestine. I'll help choose a location and will make sure that even a public place will feel private. I executed an event called "Elopements for Couples Who Care" where I married 6 couples in Central Park with all proceeds for charity. The day was seamless despite weather conditions and I was honored to coordinate and officiate!

My company, Have Lover, Will Travel, was created from the idea that the world was made for lovers to explore hand in hand. I officiate weddings & plan honeymoons, so destination weddings are the perfect blend of both of these passions. Your ceremony will have a transportive quality that highlights your adventurous love story. I also help your guests plan travel itineraries so that your destination wedding is a seamless and joy-filled experience.

    Liz exceeded our expectations in every way! From our first call to connect and learn about her services all the way through the process of crafting our ceremony and vows, we felt entirely supported and comfortable collaborating with her. She crafted a beautiful and truly moving ceremony including the story of our meeting and first date, our growth and the strengthening of our bond through the pandemic, and stories about all of our fun and joyful adventures as a couple that altogether was so unique and breathtaking. All of our guests could not stop raving about how refreshing and meaningful the ceremony was (nothing perfunctory or boring about it!) and how touched they were to learn about how our love blossomed. What a true gift Liz fave us, our friends and our family. Our ceremony was one of the most memorable and touching parts of the wedding day. You will not be disappointed- we cannot recommend her enough!

    Liz is a rockstar. She is super warm, down to earth, creative, intuitive, professional, reliable, organized, and everything you could want in an officiant! We planned our wedding in a short timeframe and Liz kept us on track the whole way. She was super flexible with our needs and built out a custom ceremony that was tailored to our needs. She also gave us a timeline that we stuck to and wrote a beautiful ceremony that felt true to us. She even had quotes and readings for us to incorporate into our ceremony. Liz was extremely organized throughout the whole process. We had several calls in the months leading up to our wedding in which she got to know us, went over our vows/script/what we wanted to include, went over any feedback and even helped us build out a timeline for our whole day. She went above and beyond. Not only was she wonderful to work with in the months leading up to the wedding, but she delivered a beautiful ceremony that felt organic and super personable. We were so comfortable with her and our families/friends were too. Our friends/family literally raved about her after our wedding and I truly can’t recommend her enough!!!

    I can't recommend Liz enough to help bring your love story to life! Liz was our officiant for our wedding in Brooklyn this past September 27th, and I received so many compliments following the ceremony. She made us feel extremely comfortable and supported throughout her very detailed process in recounting our story as a couple, and her expertise as a writer really shone through in her timing and in-person delivery for our guests. It was truly amazing how after only working together for a few months in a professional capacity, Liz delivered a final ceremony that was SO authentic to who we are as a couple, and as individuals.     We had the honor of having Liz (Have Lover, Will Travel) officiate our wedding. She was recommended by a friend and we couldn't have been more grateful. Liz's process is thorough and well thought out. She had us answer a series of questions and broke it down for us over time so it wasn't overwhelming. The process was actually one of my favorite parts of getting married as it made us reflect upon our love story. Liz took that information and told the unique story of us. It was deeply personalized...not just some cookie cutter version. Many of our guests commented about Liz's gift of being an amazing writer and story-teller. I would highly recommend Liz if you're looking for an officiant. It was one of the best decisions we made for our wedding. She made the process quite fun and easy!
