As a writer, I've always been moved by the power of words to express emotions. And being the one who narrates the words that I’ve written for a couple on their wedding day while witnessing the effect each word has on their closest friends and family is the greatest honor a writer can have. HLWT is the amalgamation of my talents, my experience, my passions, and all the things that make my heart beat with excitement.

As your wedding officiant and day-of coordinator, the level of care that I tirelessly bring to your wedding planning and ceremony are felt in every moment at the wedding. I'm passionate about sharing your story in a way that moves your guests emotionally through the lens of your relationship. I'm a calming presence and with a penchant for logistics & timelines so that you & your partner will be relaxed and able to be present on your wedding day.

Intimate affairs allow your ceremony to be the focal point of your day, and your pop-up nuptials will be far from clandestine. I'll help choose a location and will make sure that even a public place will feel private. I executed an event called "Elopements for Couples Who Care" where I married 6 couples in Central Park with all proceeds for charity. The day was seamless despite weather conditions and I was honored to coordinate and officiate!

My company, Have Lover, Will Travel, was created from the idea that the world was made for lovers to explore hand in hand. I officiate weddings & plan honeymoons, so destination weddings are the perfect blend of both of these passions. Your ceremony will have a transportive quality that highlights your adventurous love story. I also help your guests plan travel itineraries so that your destination wedding is a seamless and joy-filled experience.

    Working with Have Lover Will Travel and Liz Normant was a great experience from start to finish. Liz is extremely organized and thoughtful, which made the entire process feel clear and manageable from the very beginning. Our initial planning call included a thorough overview of her services, structure, and expectations, and it helped us better understand what goes into working with an officiant and what we needed to consider. She provided a detailed and well-designed questionnaire that helped her get to know us as a couple and also served as a helpful guide during the vow-writing process. Liz did a beautiful and comprehensive job capturing our love story and presenting it in a way that felt genuine and true to who we are. She helped set the right tone and energy for the ceremony, striking a thoughtful balance between heartfelt and joyful that resonated with us and our guests. During the vow-writing process, Liz offered helpful feedback and guidance, and we really appreciated the collaborative editing process using Google Docs. It made refining and finalizing everything feel easy and supported. Throughout the experience, Liz was personable, responsive, and a pleasure to work with.
