Joy was incredible to work with as our Month Of Coordinator, can’t recommend her and the Taylored Events team enough! We’d already selected our venue, vendors, and design, but wanted support with ironing out final details, timelines, and day-of logistics. We initially weren’t sure if we needed a coordinator to begin with, but are so glad we went with them, especially because it made the day completely stress free, not only for us as the couple, but just as importantly, for our family and wedding party. Joy gave us a spreadsheet to help us check off everything we needed for planning, created our timeline down to the minute for the day of, coordinated all communication with vendors leading up to and throughout the wedding, oversaw our rehearsal walk-through the day before (on site), and set up our decor for us. Special touches included being so kind to our flower girls and keeping them entertained (thank you to Joy’s assistant, Lindsey) during speeches, taking phenomenal candids and Polaroids throughout (we had a camera out for guests to use during reception, pic attached), and helping with my quick dress change. Joy & team are super organized, friendly, diligent, professional, and flexible — and they really care about everyone having a great time. Huge thanks for all you did to allow us to be 100% present with each other and with our loved ones on our special day!

Everybody needs a Raquel for their wedding! We had Raquel for 3 month coordination, and words alone cannot express how organized, professional, and seamless Raquel made the three months leading up to and on wedding day. Prior to the start of our coordination with Raquel, she provided us with a very organized, detailed spreadsheet to guide us through the wedding planning process. Raquel was the organization and detail behind every idea I brought to the table and helped to make our vision a reality! Raquel was my coordinator but doubled as my wedding therapist throughout the three months! Any wedding related question we had, Raquel was always there with a very thoughtful and speedy email response. Starting at 5pm the night before our wedding when she led us through our mini walk-through, to walking down the aisle, I felt completely reassured everything would go as smoothly as possible due to Raquel’s expertise! Raquel and her team are the perfect blend of professionalism and warmth that made our day feel seamless. Her team worked effortlessly behind the scenes on the day of our wedding (even running back to my apartment to pick up forgotten ceremony programs and doing so without me even knowing!). They worked their magic and allowed my husband and I to be the guests of honor rather than the hosts. Throughout the planning, she was incredibly thorough and detailed in her work, coordinating all of our vendors and keeping them on schedule. She sent us payment and deadline reminders and even handled tipping vendors on the day of our wedding so we had one less thing to worry about. On the day of the wedding, she seamlessly handled the timeline and even pushed back on a vendor who tried to charge an extra fee after the fact, which she got removed. From securing vendors to day-of coordination to random little questions (like can we get L&B’s pizza delivered to our venue late at night? and where can we get a selfie mirror welcome sign?), Marissa was there to offer her guidance. Early on, we talked about communication and budget to set expectations. We have pretty busy schedules, but Marissa was really understanding and flexible, even when we could only check-in via emails or have calls in the evening. She also let us know what to expect budget-wise for each vendor and helped us prioritize where we wanted to splurge or save. Marissa was also really thoughtful when looking for vendors for us. She recommended a photographer who had shot tea ceremonies before, and made sure to find hair and makeup artists who were familiar with working with Asian features. Day-of, our venue was a bit disorganized and there were some issues with some of the vendors, but because we had Marissa there, we didn't need to worry about the little things and could just enjoy our day! She also had great ideas for DIY or adding personal touches for the wedding. We wouldn’t have been able to do it without her!

As our DoC, she was incredible and picked up seamlessly all the things we planned for the wedding. I had put together most of the plans ahead of time, but she came in with suggestions and perfected all the details. I trusted her completely to run the day and also do all the decor setup. She made the venue looks so beautiful without much input from us as we trusted her vision. She coordinated with all the vendors before the wedding and during and they all had very positive things to say about her. She was so thoughtful with the preparations for the wedding and attentive to our needs. She checked in with us throughout the night to make sure we had a drink and anything else while also making sure ran smoothly. Working with Starling was one of the best decisions we made at the beginning of our wedding planning process. We were paired with Ashley who was an absolute pleasure to work with. She kept us organized and recommended excellent vendors. As our wedding day got closer, she took over all communication with our vendors. Having her as our day-of-coordinator with an assistant, she managed our vendors, ensured the whole evening went smoothly and helped us stick to our timeline. Its also important to mention that on our wedding day, NYC was in a state of emergency due to extreme rain and flash flooding. It was a pretty stressful morning but Ashley kept us calm and ensured that our wedding moved forward as planned. We had such a fun night despite the crazy weather and were able to enjoy our evening without worrying about the little details. We cannot recommend Starling enough!!

Wow wow wow! I wanted to take the time to leave the most thorough review of high praise because Debbie's team was absolutely fantastic to work with from beginning to end. We hired Debbie about a month out from our wedding for Day-of coordination as well as to review and revise all of the vendor contracts that we had done prior to hiring her. Debbie picked up sloppy and mismanaged work from a previous planner we parted ways with. It was no easy feat to pick up the previous planner's work and correct it and Debbie dived in head first. She asked thoughtful, detailed oriented questions the entire time to make sure that she executed my vision to the tee. Debbie and I had frequent calls leading up to our wedding detailing every aspect of the wedding and logistics. The logistics of being a NYC DIY-heavy bride without a car we were concerned as it was important to me that we didn't have family and friends setting up on wedding day. Debbie came by and took inventory of all of our DIY materials, picked them up prior to the wedding, set them up wedding day, and then dropped them off back at our house on wedding night. The venue we rented had to be left cleared and clean and Debbie's team did a fantastic job with that and left the place spotless. Debbie also sent me photos of the space for reference. Now for Debbie's team on our wedding day. My family and guests LOVED Debbie's team. They were kind, eager, and did anything my family requested of them. I found out after the fact that one of Debbie's team members helped my stepmom-in-law with her makeup before the ceremony, which was definitely outside of their roles and responsibilities, but they did it with such a smile and grace. I heard multiple stories just like that one of Debbie's team jumping to help wedding guests or even vendors as they needed it during the night. If you are looking for someone detail-oriented who will keep a tight timeline and help you bring your dream wedding to life, I would 100% recommend hiring Debbie. She was worth every penny to my husband and me. And our wedding would have not gone as smoothly as it did without her ability to manage so many different aspects and quickly think on her feet. We hired Everhart Events for our son’s wedding being held at our home. As we started to plan this special day on our own we quickly realized the need to have an event planner. Abby helped with coordination of vendors, creation of an event timeline and most importantly being onsite the day of the event. From the day we hired Abby, the relief she provided with her experience and knowledge we quickly knew this was going to be an incredible experience. From the rehearsal dinner to the final song, Abby was in the background making sure that every small detail was taken care of. She seamlessly transitioned the guests from the wedding on one side of our property to the tents across the other side set up for the reception. She made sure the decorations were in place, guests were led to the correct places, vendors knew where to go, food was set up and I could go on and on and on. As the host, mother of the groom and maid of honor - yes all three, Abby made sure I was able to relax and enjoy my son’s entire day without a single worry.
