    Planning with RBE

    RBE is incredible. Lizzie and Rachel planned our June 2026 wedding and we could not have been more impressed. They were organized, thoughtful and supported us throughout the entire process. No task was too large or small for them. They understood our vision and helped us find the perfect vendors to bring it to life. Clear communication throughout the entire planning process. They are also just wonderful humans to work with - highly recommend working with them.

    Reliable, Exceptional, Thoughtful Planners

    After months of research, we ultimately chose RBE based on our initial positive impressions from a meeting and all of the extremely positive reviews. I can now confirm that those reviews are 100% accurate and truthful in their praise of RBE services! We worked with Lizzie Torrance for our Williamsburg Wedding at Misi Restaurant in April, and can't recommend her and RBE enough. Like our wedding was literally 2 days ago and we couldn't wait to write this review. Lizzie is the ultimate professional, handling everything timely, seamlessly, and calmly - literally all the things you want AND need during this time. RBE had a very comprehensive set of tools and resources for the planning process, and sent just the right amount of reminders and recaps to keep us on track without being overwhelming. She coordinated and communicated with vendors and was super adept at filtering to us only what we needed to weigh in on. On the day, Lizzie and the RBE team were on it, managing the people, multiple venues, timeline, and all the behind-the-scenes details we probably didn't even know were happening so that we didn't have to think or worry about anything. If you want 100% confidence that your wedding will run perfectly, then ya gotta go with Lizzie and RBE.

    THE BEST WEDDING PLANNER!

    Rachel Behar is THE BEST!!! I truly can’t put into words how incredible it was to have Rachel and her team as my wedding planner—I wouldn’t change a single thing about our experience...it was PERFECT!! Even though Rachel has been in the business for years, she made me feel like I was her only client. From day one, she was always three steps ahead. So organized, quick to answer every question, and if she didn’t have the answer, she found out immediately. She was open to all of my ideas while also bringing her own creative vision, which made our wedding feel so unique, and truly “us.” She was always willing to try something new instead of repeating the same formula, which made our day feel special and personalized. Each month she kept us on track with updates, reminders, and clear timelines, making the whole process stress-free. And speaking of stress-free...day of our wedding, I didn't have a worry in sight. I stress about everything, but she allowed me to stay in the moment, not worry about anything, and everything was taken care of. Beyond being an amazing planner, Rachel became a true friend. I’ve seen planners who are harsh or overly strict, but Rachel led with kindness and confidence—she got everything done without ever being intimidating. Every vendor who had worked with her before had glowing things to say; whenever I mentioned her name, the response was always, “You’re in the best hands.” And they were absolutely right. Even after the wedding, Rachel checked in to see how our honeymoon went and how we were doing, which meant so much. If you’re considering hiring Rachel—do it. You will not regret it.     Cannot recommend RBE enough!

    We worked with Lizzie at RBE for our October wedding and cannot recommend her enough! Over the past year, Lizzie went above and beyond to bring our vision to life and to create a weekend that felt so us and so perfect in every way. Months later, we still receive compliments from our guests that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to. We truly couldn’t have done it without Lizzie’s professionalism, organization, kindness, and support! From the start, Lizzie really took the time to understand what we were looking for in our wedding and was patient, flexible, and responsive. She introduced us to incredible vendors that she and the RBE team have strong relationships with, while also going out of her way to find new and different options to ensure that every aspect of our wedding perfectly fit our vision. In a place like New York where the options can feel endless and intimidating, Lizzie made the process feel so much more manageable and smooth. Throughout the year, Lizzie kept us on track and organized, breaking down the planning process into monthly checklists and spreadsheets that made us feel confident each step of the way. When things ever felt stressful or intimidating, she approached everything so calmly and with a genuine kindness, which made her the best partner we could have asked for during the process. The weekend of our wedding, Lizzie made sure everything ran so seamlessly - we cannot thank her enough for everything she did to allow us to enjoy our time together/with our guests and not have to worry about a single thing. Rachel takes pride in working with her clients personally, guiding every event from start to finish. When needed, she brings on carefully selected associates who collaborate closely with her. Over the years, she has met exceptional professionals and surrounds herself with like-minded, highly task-oriented individuals who share her dedication to excellence.
Rachel has been a planner all her life (it’s embedded in her personality) but she’s been professionally planning events since 2010, when she managed nationwide events across college campuses with Rent the Runway. She then went on to assist with event planning at her first venue in 2012.
RBE plans all types of events—weddings, corporate gatherings, and social celebrations. We’ve planned intimate events for 10 guests and galas for 800! Loved them all.

To start, couples should expect to spend a minimum of $1,500 per guest, for the wedding day only. Please note that this estimate covers the wedding night only—not our planning fee, wardrobe, or other expenses. It depends on your event! Rachel will be your main point of contact and she’ll assemble a team of trusted freelancers and stylists to bring your vision to life. Additionally, she has a team of seasoned operation managers to assist on the Big Day.
Super fun :) We’ll take our time getting to know you and your vision for the event. You’ll then be presented with vendors who are not only amazing at what they do, but are also good people. You deserve the best—and that’s what we’ll provide, incorporating unique twists and exciting ideas that reflect your personal taste and style. RBE will be there for you at every moment you want us to be, from setup to take-down. On the day of your party, you’ll be able to be your own guest and not worry about a thing.
We’re in the office from Monday to Friday from 10am-5pm. While we’re flexible with evening meetings, we need notice to secure them. It’s very rare that we can take weekend meetings (due to our wedding and social clients), BUT we will never say “no” before trying our best to accommodate.
For the right client, we are always open to traveling—and have traveled often. Our passports are ready! Whether your event is domestic or foreign, we’ll be there! Keep in mind, events outside of New York and the Tri-State area include additional fees.
We provide guidance every step of the way, from helping you select vendors to reviewing contracts. While you’ll be responsible for paying the vendors directly, we’ll keep you on track by sending upcoming payment reminders.
