    Our Dream Wedding Weekend Brought to Life

    I truly could not recommend Wedding Planning Plus more! Working with Shannon and the WPP team was hands down one of the best decisions we made for our wedding, and it resulted in the weekend of our absolute dreams. From our first introductory call, we knew WPP was the perfect match to bring our vision to life. My husband and I both work in events and came in with a lot of ideas- some simple and straightforward, and some ambitious, a little whacky, and involving a lot of different elements, tons of live music, and surprises for our guests and for each other. Shannon and the WPP team were right there with us. They embraced our ideas rather than steering us towards something that may have been simpler or more traditional, and then executed them seamlessly while enhancing them every step of the way. And when we weren't sure what we wanted or we needed some guidance, Shannon and her team were just as incredible at helping us figure it out. Margette, WPP's incredible in-house designer, took everything we envisioned and brought it to life and then some! Every single part of the weekend, which included 3 days and twice as many events, was beautiful, thoughtful, cohesive, and felt so uniquely us. Our families and wedding party all told us afterward how amazing, organized, and helpful Shannon and her team were throughout the entire weekend. We TRULY felt like guests at our own wedding, and got to enjoy every moment of what we had been planning without ever thinking about timelines, checklists or next steps. Shannon and Wedding Planning Plus didn't just help us plan a great wedding, they helped us create the exact wedding weekend we dreamed about, and made the entire process along the way easier and actually fun. We are endlessly grateful to Shannon, Margette, Leah, Eliza, and the entire WPP team!

    Stop your search and book the very best

    We are so incredibly grateful to Eliza, Margette, and Fabby for making our wedding weekend absolutely unforgettable! From the planning process to the big day itself, they were professional, attentive, organized, and genuinely caring. They took the time to understand our vision and made sure every detail was handled beautifully. There were so many little details that I knew we wouldn’t be able to handle ourselves and having this team in place made all of the difference. Knowing we could trust them completely allowed us to relax and truly enjoy our wedding weekend with our family and friends instead of worrying about the little things. We had various vendors that we were working with from table linen rentals to a walking cannoli station and WPP handled every coordination beautifully. I. Never had to worry about whether all of the vendors were followed up with. Thank you, Eliza, Margette, and Fabby, for all of your hard work, patience, and dedication. You went above and beyond to make our special weekend was everything we dreamed of. We couldn’t recommend you enough to any couple looking for an amazing wedding planning team!

    “A” Team Wedding Planners!

    I cannot recommend Wedding Planning Plus enough. They are absolutely the wedding planners you want on your team leading up to and by your side on the big day. We had the partial wedding planning package which was perfect for us. They were always on top of things and getting us reminders and what we should be working on as the months progressed towards the wedding day. Helping us find 5 vendors and setting up meetings took off a lot of stress and worry. Anytime we had a meeting it made the experience exciting and less stressful, especially when we got to talk about decor! They made wedding planning fun. The day of the wedding they were extremely attentive, always checking in and making sure everything is going according to plan. Our wedding day was absolutely perfect and we could not have done it without this amazing team: Eliza, Alissa, Jeshica, Margette, and Shannon! They are truly the best at what they do!

    Fantastic Experience!

    We brought on Eliza at Wedding Planning Plus as a day-of coordinator for our wedding at Forest Lake Camp, and she did a fantastic job! Leading up to our big day, she was available whenever we had questions or concerns, and completely took over as point-of-contact with all our vendors. She helped us create a timeline of events for the entire day, and kept our whole wedding party on track so we could relax and enjoy every second of our wedding. We highly recommend Eliza and any planner through Wedding Planning Plus to help with planing your wedding!

    Wedding Planning Super Heroes

    My husband and I got married in September 2025 and we hired WPP in Spring 2024. From the first meeting with Shannon, we immediately knew WPP was the right fit for us. We did have an unfortunate situation about 6 months into the early planning, where our original wedding planner decided to leave however, this was truly a blessing in disguise because we ended up getting Eliza as our new wedding planner. Eliza was the perfect fit for us. She is the best there is and we are honestly so lucky with how the situation turned out! She truly listened to everything we said, was a great and efficient communicator, made sure we were on top of deadlines, and was a genuine sweetheart throughout the whole wedding planning process. Alissa, the assistant event planner, was also there every step of the way and was so on top of everything. A major powerhouse that WPP has, is the amazing Margette. Margette is a genius and I still cannot believe how incredible she was able to create our wedding space based off my crazy concepts. I feel like she read my mind and always had a solution to everything. Our decor was beyond what I ever could have imagined and for probably more than half the price of what a lot of other people spend. Every wedding deserves a Margette, Eliza, Alissa, and Shannon! I seriously miss my monthly meetings with Eliza and I genuinely feel like the WPP ladies are our friends now.

WPP was created in 2007 and has planned and coordinated over 1,000 weddings and events in and around Upstate New York. WPP's team is deep - Shannon is the Owner and Lead Operator, Eliza is the team's main Event Planner, Margette is the in-house Event Designer, Alissa is the Planning Assistant, and there are a dozen Lead and Assistant Wedding Coordinators who specialize in the onsite management on wedding day. From kick off to send off the WPP team is masterful at easing stress, elevating designs, and creating magical wedding experiences for all of their couples.
For couples utilizing WPP's services, the process is smooth and streamlined to continually make progress while keeping the experience fun, relaxed, and stress-free. WPP uses online planning tools to keep every detail organized, and is available for email, phone and Zoom calls to stay connected with couples who live out of the area. All of the planners and coordinators on the team are from Upstate New York and are experts in the best local venues and vendors. Most couples describe their experience working with WPP to feel like they are planning with their best friend - someone who understands them and guides them in a personal way.
WPP takes an initial retainer fee upon booking, and then depending on the package there is either a second or third payment spread out over time (for planning services) and then a final payment due a few weeks before the wedding day (planning and coordination services). Payments can all be made online for a quick and easy booking process.
WPP's approach is ultra personal to highlight what is special and unique about each of their couples. While other planners have a set vendor list or a cookie cutter method of putting a wedding together, WPP relies on their insight and their relationship with their couples to get to know them and ensure that every piece of their wedding day is uniquely "them". From the color palette to the way food is presented to the last song played at the end of the night, each of WPP's events are different and special and perfectly fit for each individual couple.
