With 15+ years of experience from simultaneously planning events for hotels and independently, I can help make your dreams a reality.     10/10 - best planner in the business!

    If you are looking for a wedding planner for your day, look no further. Courtney and Crown Coordination is quite literally the best of the best. As a wedding photographer, I’ve worked with Courtney and her team before, so I know how easy they are to work with in a professional setting, so when it came time for me and my now husband to book a planner for our own day, it was a no brainer who we were going to go with! From day 1, Courtney was incredibly amazing. From booking all the way to day of execution, she made the entire process so easy, stress free, and fun. By the end of your wedding, she is so much more than just another vendor - she is your friend! She kept our day running smoothly and ensured that all of our dreams came true. Her communication is top notch, and not to mention she is very well priced for the services that she provides! I cannot recommend her enough - everyone deserves to have her and her team on their day, and I am so thankful for everything she has done for us!

    Crown Coordination Perfected Our Wedding!

    We spent nearly a year working with Courtney on our wedding - and everything came out better than we could have ever imagined. Throughout the whole planning process, her professionalism, wealth of experience, organization, and attention to detail did not go unnoticed. She was incredibly attentive to all of our requests, and her experience and connections in the industry saved us so much time and effort. On the day of our wedding, her team executed our vision at the Ithaca Farmers Market well beyond our wildest imaginations. Every detail was executed to perfection, and they brought the Market to life. Our guests have not stopped raving about how amazing the space was, and we have Courtney and her team to thank! She expertly managed all of our vendors, knew the contracts backwards and forwards, and made it so we had nothing to do ourselves on our wedding day.     So incredible!

    As a floral designer, I've worked with many planners and coordinators. It's difficult to find anyone that tops the service that Courtney and her team provide. Not only is communication clear and prompt, but they will put together the most special and elevated day just for you. They offer a variety of services and packages.     Courtney & the Crown team are magic!

    We connected 4.5 months out from our wedding - after our original venue fell through and we had to find a new one - Courtney showed up eager, confident, excited and supportive. It was important for her to build a friendship first, learn about us then dive into everything that we needed and THEN some. Her experience within the event and wedding planning industry shows immediately - her connections to vendors, advice, ideas and knowledge of how a successful day looks is a huge part of what makes her team so powerful - not to mention the extremely bubbly, funny and positive energy she brings to every conversation and meeting. Courtney, our founder and lead planner, has been planning professional events for over a decade, but began event planning in high school. She jokes that she is ‘classically’ trained in events because she gained her career experience in the hotel industry as a catering sales manager. She planned every type of event under the sun, and then some! Each of her Crew members has a background in hospitality, as well, and she has furthered trained them for more niche occasions, such as weddings.
We are classically trained in the world of hospitality and are with you from day one! You can look to us for complete support from the minute you book with our Crew, all the way up until your event... and even after! We guide the process and steer you in the best direction for what you are looking for, while saving you time and money on vendors that are not the right fit. Also, we invest in ourselves because we know you invest in us - we constantly seek educational opportunities regarding industry trends, technologies and techniques to better serve you.
Our Crew understands the full scope of an event day, and then some, ensuring everyone is in the right place at the right time. Whether that be organizing vendors, handling deliveries, trouble-shooting issues, reconfiguring the schedule, directing guests, etc., we are your glue and quality control for the day. We strive to ensure our clients can be fully present and enjoy their event, no matter what is happening behind the scenes.
A venue coordinator is responsible for the venue and its operations. They do not handle planning and design for couples. We recommend taking some time to learn what your venue coordinator is handling and what you (or your planner) are responsible for. Every venue varies, so knowing what each one offers will alleviate a lot of hassle. Be sure to have clear expectations and interpretations about what everyone's role will be.
Yes, we love to travel for events and celebrations! Thus far, we have hosted events in Massachusetts, New Hampshire and California. We work with clients all over the country, and even internationally!
We will do as much, or as little, as you want us to do during the planning process. We are here to offer input, provide recommendations and share our expertise so you have all the knowledge you could possibly have to make the right decision for yourself.
