Juliette's photography seeks out authentic and candid moments that allow her couples to feel comfortable, vulnerable and fully present on their wedding day. Juliette's work is inspired by nostalgia, incorporating disposable cameras, 35mm film, and 90s camcorder throughout the day. Her love for visual storytelling is inspired by her favorite films and music, the details of the day, and her couples.
Choosing a photographer for your wedding day is about finding someone who allows you and your partner to feel vulnerable, safe and valued. Juliette's philosophy is to be a fly-on-the-wall, and let you live, breathe and bask in the energy and joy of the day, while also documenting it so feel authentic to you. Weddings are for everyone, no matter your gender expression, ethnicity, or religion.

We're obsessed with Juliette!!
Hiring Juliette Zyg Picture Studios was the best decision we could have made for our wedding!! We connected with Juliette and her warm, enthusiastic energy right away and never looked back. From our engagement shoot to our Ithaca Farmer's Market wedding day, she helped us to stay fully present with each other and captured every moment and emotion in such an authentic and joyful way. We are obsessed with our beautiful photo albums AND with Juliette. She feels like a friend, and we are already looking forward to the next time we will be lucky enough to do a shoot with her!

Perfect Wedding Photographer
Juliette and her husband Teddy were phenomenal to work with. Juliette was so professional throughout each stage of the planning process, with helpful emails and video chats in the months leading up to the wedding. She was also so friendly and genuinely excited about our wedding! We were looking for a photographer who let us enjoy our day; we didn’t want it to feel like a photoshoot. Juliette delivered on this, getting the most amazing pictures without making the process feel cumbersome. In fact, I can’t remember seeing her or Teddy during the ceremony, and yet we have fantastic photos and video of the whole thing. That’s the mark of a truly exceptional photography team. Juliette also got great shots from our rehearsal dinner (we elected to have that covered instead of doing an engagement shoot), and did a great job with the reception, as well as all the bridal party and family photos, which (at least for the bridal party) felt more like hanging out with our friends than it did a photo shoot. It was so relaxed and low pressure, and everything came out really well. Also, when we didn’t know what we wanted for some photos, Juliette was happy to step in and provide more structure, but — crucially — this was not her only or even primary mode of operation. Also, within a few days, Juliette had an amazing sneak-peak photo package prepared, which was really fun to see. Enjoying that on our honeymoon was really special because we didn’t expect to have photos that soon. Overall, I would recommend Juliette and Teddy without any hesitation; with them, you get a professional partner to work with, and you can count on everything being taken care of and the photo and video coverage being excellent.

Ladybugs are good luck!
Ladybugs are a sign from the afterlife. We are supposed to let go of our worries and fears of what is to come because those who have passed before us are watching over us and guiding us along the path of our lives. The Bride & Groom were so thoughtful to include a Table of Remembrance…. Capturing that photo of the ladybug in the bridesmaid’s hand gives me so much hope for this fantastic couple! The photography team did a magnificent job of capturing this fun and energetic bridal party. The bride and groom are so lucky to have these people in their lives. I am so glad I could be part of their special day. These photos rock and so does the photography team!

The Perfect Person for Our Wedding
At almost every moment leading up to our wedding day we knew we had made the right decision in hiring Juliette. We talked with quite a few photographers and videographers before settling on her and the main reason we did is just how easy she is to communicate and connect with. Always making us feel prioritized and accommodated to without overwhelming us. Any adjustments we made she was willing to roll with and always encouraged us to make decisions that would make us happy instead of anyone else. The pictures and videos themselves also turned out wonderful. Our main desire with hiring a videographer was to have someone capture as many special and genuine moments as they could while we enjoyed our day as carefree as we could. She most certainly succeeded on that front. My wife and I can’t recommend her enough, she made everything a breeze.

Best Photographer EVER
Working with Juliette was nothing short of a DREAM! She helped with everything from creating the timeline to aesthetic ideas and really helped the day run smoothly. Truly don’t know how we would’ve done it without her. Such a kind and encouraging presence on the wedding day and throughout planning! Whether it was bringing us dessert because we hadn’t gotten a chance to sneak over to the table yet or reminding us of the pic we wanted to make sure we got- truly truly fantastic!!! Not to mention just how beautiful the photos are! We could not be more in love! Such a quick turnaround so we could reminisce on the honeymoon. Juliette is a GEM!!!
