Cover Story Entertainment (as featured in all the leading and best publications all over New England and beyond as well as TV shows) was established by Chris Troxell, when he graduated from Berklee College of Music with a performance degree and a passion for perfection. Since the initial launch, CSE has expanded their entertainment and event services, offering clients the ease of single vendor coordination with the benefit of access to our prestigious performers, photographers, and videographers. Cover Story made our wedding perfect!
We knew Cover Story was the perfect choice for our wedding from our very first call with Chris. Chris and Elena made the entire planning process clear and easy from start to finish. They brought their expertise and guidance exactly when we needed it, while still giving us plenty of room for creative input. The whole collaboration felt natural and seamless. They made us feel totally safe asking all of our questions and took care of everything, working with our venue effortlessly. The performers on the day were phenomenal, and our guests are still talking about it! Their talent was incredible, and they were kind, fun, and professional to work with. Our ceremony guitarist learned our entrance songs and performed them beautifully. Our special dances were played from mp3 and were timed perfectly. Even though we honestly didn't give them much direction for timing, they just nailed it! And then the party! Our family and friends love to dance, and the band kept the energy high all night long. They even learned a couple of extra songs for us that sounded amazing. Their talent is honestly unreal. They definitely were supposed to take more breaks than they did, but they just kept playing, and even gave us an encore. After the wedding, we got to chat with some of the band members, and they were all so kind and genuinely cool people. The entertainment really shapes the overall atmosphere of a wedding, and because of Cover Story, our wedding day was perfect. We'd recommend Cover Story for any event, hands down!

Amazing!
We worked with Cover Story for our wedding in July and had the best experience. From the beginning Cover Story went above and beyond, they were easy to communicate with, very organized, and even learned our first dance song, which made it so special. The dance floor was packed all night and our guests are still raving about how great the band was. Highly recommend if you want your wedding to feel like a huge party!

Super lively and upbeat band
Cover story was such a hit at my wedding! We hired a 6-piece band including a sax and they kept the party going all night! Everything sounded amazing and guests are still raving about how great the day was, I’ve heard from multiple people that it was the most fun they’ve ever had at a wedding. The dance floor was packed and super lively all night long. they were very accommodating to a couple last minute add ons and changes I made. They responded very quickly to all questions and made instructions very clear so everything ran smoothly. Highly recommend cover story!!

Cover Story rocked our wedding
What a band!! Cover Story made our reception an incredible party, and went above and beyond for us to have an incredible ceremony. Truly a fantastic band with great energy and super talented. People were dancing all night long, and Chris and Elena went to significant lengths to make sure they had every detail perfect and that we had an incredible day. it's always tough to tell with a band from the videos because it's hard to capture the energy of a live performance, but I can say that this band really delivered. Definitely don't hesitate to hire them, they were awesome and in the lead-up to the wedding, were very logistically organized in a way that put my mind at ease that they had it all handled.
