We are so excited to have won Best of Zola three years running. We are a small, personalized mobile DJ business that entertains weddings all over New England. We work with you to design your reception using your preferences as a guide and our weddings are never cookie-cutter. In addition to DJ services, we can also supply fun portable Photo Booths, professional wireless uplighting, and unique Audio Guestbooks.

I believe what sets us apart is the planning that takes place before the wedding to ensure that the wedding is exactly what each couple wants. We don't go into any event with a plan of what's going to happen - instead we work with each couple to discuss every point of the reception and how it will be carried out. We then share this information with every other vendor that we will be working with so everyone is on the same page. It's the only way to ensure a successful reception.

    Easiest day ever!

    Justin was always quick to respond to our questions and explained everything in a way that made planning easy. He helped us with our day-of timeline from ceremony, cocktail hour, to reception. Seamless transitions between all three spots. After dinner, he kept the dance floor packed all night long, knowing exactly what our guests would want to hear. The photo booth and audio guestbook were such a hit with our guests, we got so many compliments on both. He was professional and genuinely seemed to care about making our day special. We'd recommend Music on the Move to any couple!!

    Perfect DJ

    Justin and Music on the Move was the perfect choice for a DJ for our wedding. We attended a wedding where Justin was the DJ, and we knew we had to have him for ours and we are so glad we did. Justin is a clear communicator, and listened to all of our needs for our day. He did a great job with our ceremony music and audio, and the dancefloor was going all night! He played the best music and accommodated our guests requests (as well as ours!). Everyone had a great time and we have gotten so many compliments. Thanks, Justin!

    Excellent DJ

    Great communication and listened to the client and put together a great set based on the input provided. Played the music and kept talking to the minimum. He did not make the evening about himself -- played the music and kept the guests on the dance floor.

    Amazing!!

    Music on the Move was the perfect DJ for our wedding! From the very first conversation, we were impressed by Justin's timely, thorough, and detailed communication style. He was professional, inclusive, and genuinely cared about making our special day perfect. Justin was awesome at introductions, he included family birthdays, and he really ended the night with a bang and made us feel special! We couldn't recommend Justin enough - he took all of our song choices and the requests of our families and curated the perfect night.

    Amazing DJ!!

    Justing was a fantastic DJ! We gave him a short list of must-plays then let him do the rest, and he was great at reading the room and playing what the people wanted. He took requests from guests if they fit the vibe and was totally okay saying no too which is exactly what we wanted. We even had some guests asking for his playlist before the night was over. He brought tons of speakers and lights, and even some wireless speakers to play the same music in multiple rooms, including outside on the deck for cocktail hour. Everything went off without a hitch. We also got the photo booth add-on which ended up getting a ton of use and people loved it. Sawyer was manning the booth and 5 stars to him as well!
