Based in New York City, The Hook Club is one of the tri-state area's most exciting and unique wedding bands. Owned and operated by a tight-knit community of musicians, they are known for their attention to every musical detail and the professionalism they bring to every event. Their unconventional group has mastered the art of creating a great dance party that keeps guests on the dance floor all night and then humming the songs the next day!

The Hook Club’s specialty is to take every audience on a journey they will never forget. From timeless classics to today's dance hits, their instrumentalists dazzle crowds for hours on end with their high-energy arrangements, while their diverse roster of vocalists get the crowd dancing and singing top 40, classic rock, and hip-hop hits on the dance floor.     Book The Hook Club!!

    We had the best experience working with The Hook Club for our wedding! From the very beginning, Dan was so easy to work with and incredibly helpful with organization and bringing our vision for the day to life. During and after the wedding, we received countless compliments about how amazing and fun the band was. The musicians were all so dynamic with a majority of them playing instruments AND singing, which made the performances feel so energetic and engaging. They truly kept the dance floor going all night long!! We had an absolute blast and a night we will always remember thanks to The Hook Club. If you’re looking for a wedding band in the NY/NJ area, we highly recommend them!

    The Most Important Part of Our Wedding

    From the moment I saw The Hook Club perform at another wedding years ago, I knew that one day I would have them at my own wedding. They were actually the very first vendor we booked, and we even based our wedding venue selection around their availability — that’s how incredible they are. Since our wedding, we’ve received dozens of messages from guests asking about the band and telling us they were the best wedding band they’ve ever seen. The dance floor was packed all night long, and the energy never dropped for a second. Dan and the entire team were unbelievable to work with. They accommodated some unique music requests and created the perfect blend of oldies and modern music that kept every generation on the dance floor. The DJ/band hybrid was such a game changer because they were able to play songs that many of our guests said they had never heard at weddings before. They also provided violin music for our ceremony and cocktail hour, which was absolutely beautiful and such a highlight of the day. Every detail was handled perfectly, and their attention to detail throughout the entire process was truly unbelievable. If you want a wedding where your guests are talking about the music all night, book The Hook Club. They exceeded every expectation we had.

    BEST DJ!!!

    When planning our wedding, our top priority was the vibe on the dance floor. We, and our friends, wanted to RIP IT dancing until the last possible second. Our planner pointed us toward DJ A Ball The Hook Club and we never looked back. MC Jesse got and kept everyone pumped up, and we intrinsically trusted DJ Ash to read the room and keep the energy right where it needed to be. And, THC gave us so much room to customize our experience. We’re both music heads, and we had a lot of very specific, queer, sentimental song requests. We came away from our wedding truly feeling like we had the best DJ of any wedding we’ve ever been to.

    The Hook Club is EVERYTHING!!!!

    The Hook Club is truly as good as it gets! Their communication, professionalism, attention to detail and talent are unmatched! The Hook Club seamlessly put together a melodic piano and vocal set for our ceremony and then turned up the energy with a live saxophone and stylistic DJ set that our wedding guests are still talking about! They are a standout company and will collaborate with you in the most wonderful way to make your entertainment vision a reality no matter how big or small!

    The best vibes for the best day

    We had the absolute best experience with The Hook Club for our wedding. From start to finish, they were professional, organized, and completely collaborative. They worked closely with us to bring our music vision to life and incorporated our specific requests seamlessly. We were especially excited about having the saxophone element — and it exceeded every expectation. “Jubel” on sax during our grand entrance was the highlight of the night. It created such an electric moment and set the tone for an incredible reception. We asked for a mix of 90s punk rock and 2010s nostalgia, and DJ A Ball absolutely delivered. The dance floor was packed all night long. The transitions were seamless, the energy never dipped, and they balanced our personal favorites with songs that kept every guest engaged. They also MC’d the entire evening and did an amazing job guiding the flow of the night — from introductions to speeches to special moments. Everything felt smooth, intentional, and well-paced without ever feeling overdone. They handled our ceremony music and audio flawlessly, and the sound quality throughout the day was perfect. When it started raining and plans had to pivot, they handled everything seamlessly. Even though they had already set up inside, they were flexible and made sure we could still do our outdoor first dance as planned. That flexibility meant so much in the moment. They also provided uplighting, which transformed the space and made the reception feel warm, elevated, and cohesive. So many guests told us it was one of the most fun weddings they’ve ever been to — and the music and energy were a huge reason why. The Hook Club doesn’t just play music; they create an experience. We cannot recommend them enough.
