At Sweet Harmony, we love what we do! To us, it is a beautiful thing when we are playing music that helps you to feel the special moments of your life. We've grown fast since our founding in 2008, and Sweet Harmony now serves weddings across the United States with fine local musicians. As owner and pianist, I hold certain core values that inspire my work with our customers and our relationships in the professional world: honesty, teamwork, friendliness, strength, service, efficiency, and a commitment to excellence. Our musicians typically hold advanced degrees in music and care genuinely about bringing you the beauty of live performance!

    Having a violinist for our wedding ceremony and cocktail hour was one of the best decisions that we made, and Sweet Harmony made it SO easy. They were communicative, professional, and had a platform that made choosing songs and getting organized a breeze. It was affordable as far as wedding add-ons goes and classed up the wedding, our guests were all excited and impressed. Our violinist was incredibly talented and added an incredible flair. We chose a hip hop theme he nailed it (classy but also super fun and energetic). My only regret is that we were so busy that we didn't get to stop and truly appreciate it as much as we should have. If you're reading this review to thing about booking, stop here and go for it, you won't regret working with Sweet Harmony

    Casalinova Wedding

    Sweet Harmony was amazing! They were not only incredibly talented but also so accommodating throughout the entire process. I had always dreamed of having violin and piano at my wedding, and they exceeded every expectation. Their music created such a beautiful atmosphere, and we received so many compliments from our guests. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

    Beautiful

    Sweet Harmony provided the most beautiful music for our daughter's wedding, and we couldn't be more grateful. Kristen and Paul were absolutely wonderful to work with—professional, reliable, and exceptionally talented. They arrived on time, were well-prepared, and performed flawlessly throughout the ceremony. The combination of violin and cello created a breathtaking atmosphere that added so much elegance and emotion to our special day.     Great!

    We hired Sweet Harmony Live Music for our wedding and couldn't be happier with our choice. From our first conversation, they were quick to respond to our questions and made the planning process smooth and easy. Our violinist Joe kept our guests entertained and we got compliments throughout the evening about how great the cocktail hour music was. We also appreciated being able to give them a list of songs we wanted played, which added a personal touch to the celebration. Their pricing was fair and reasonable for the quality of service we received. We'd definitely recommend Sweet Harmony Live Music to any couple looking for musicians that are professional, responsive, and genuinely cares about making your day special.

We can play Bollywood hits, traditional Jewish music, Irish and Celtic folk songs and dances, Italian favorites, and more! We've played modern Egyptian love songs and theme music from Korean TV shows... Weddings are so diverse today and working musicians have to be versatile. Please ask for your favorite songs from your ethnic heritage and we'll see what we can do!
Our musicians will dress in formal black clothing unless otherwise requested.
Yes, we love to learn new music! There will be a charge of $30-$125 per song, depending on the availability of sheet music and the complexity of the arrangement for the instruments.
Our years of reviews from brides and grooms tell the story -- we go above and beyond to give you beautiful live music and a smooth flow on your wedding day. Also, our online booking and planning system saves time!
Yes of course. We want to help you create your individual wedding style!
We typically play for ceremonies and cocktail hours, although we do play for entire weddings when the couple chooses to have a small ensemble.
Yes.
We bring a touch of class to your favorite modern songs. Our classical ensemble style is beautiful, happy, touching, and sweet. And if you book a jazz ensemble, our style is cool, upbeat, and swinging!
We will arrive 30 minutes before we start to play (for example, if your ceremony starts at 5:00, we'll start the prelude music at 4:30 and arrive at 4:00). Some musicians will arrive earlier if they have more to set up, such as harpists and keyboardists.
We will charge a small travel fee ($25-$30) per musician to Staten Island and Long Beach Island. In some cases, we may need you to cover parking, such as certain hotels. We'll look at it on a case-by-case basis.
We don't charge tax.
