Do Not Book! I was told during my rehearsal dinner, the day before my wedding the final payment had to be in cash. The bank would not allow me to take out 1660 and I informed Mike and Zack. They then informed me to Zelle them. I zelled them 1660 and the status was in processing. They told me they would not come to my wedding without payment. The morning of my wedding was spent on the phone with Bank of America to push a last minute payment through. I offered to pay the full balance months before my wedding but Mike told me he could not because of “taxes being taken out of it”. The first half of the payment (1500)was already paid via invoice. Do Not Book unless you want to be stressed the day of your wedding.

I can't believe this person has posted yet another blatantly false review! When we book a customer we explain that they pay a retainer and that the balance is due in cash before their ceremony. On the timeline and song list planner that we send to every couple this paragraph is highlighted in green to make sure that they don't miss it. Please assign someone to pay your $1500 balance due to your DJ in CASH before the ceremony starts. (We can not accept checks or credit cards for balances.) Balance will be paid by______________________(person's name). The self created stress on her wedding day was because she chose to ignore this direction which was sent to her 10 weeks before her wedding. The communication with our DJ was strange at best. We hadn't talked to our DJ, only through someone else in the company, until about a week out. We assumed that the information we gave them would be passed on, which for the most part it kind of was. We were informed ON THE WEDDING DAY that the DJ that was there was NOT our original DJ, who had cancelled last minute and asked the DJ who was there to fill in. Either the company didn't pass along the information or our first DJ didn't, but either way he seemed confused. He didn't have our first dance song listed, he didn't have the right order of reception, he wasn't good at communicating these things either (we did later find out he did have these things because we filled out the document, he just couldn't find it for whatever reason). He would just say over the mic "I don't know what this is but I guess we're doing this next!" which is just totally unprofessional. It seemed like what notes he did have, he didn't look over well, and what he didn't have he made no effort to get prior to the event. I get it if you don't know what a game is or how to play it, but don't announce that you don't know what you are doing during the event. IF ANYTHING, ask someone to come over to clarify for you. Also during the dancing, he played like seven line dances in a row, which just seems like bad DJing. Like spread them out a bit. He and his wife were very kind people, it was just frustrating that he didn't know what he was doing and proceeding to make no effort in asking questions or acting like a professional in finding any answers.

Our deepest apologies! Subbing out a DJ at the last minute is totally against our policy, and this is the first we have heard about this. I wish you would have called us that day. The DJ we assigned has done thousands of weddings and had we known that he couldn't make it we would have sent one of our other DJs with comparable skills. We wish you both the very best!

From the very first call, Michael and Michelle were prompt, clear, and responsive in their communication, putting us at ease throughout the planning process. On the day of, they showed their dedication and professionalism, going above and beyond to make our wedding day special. Michael surprised us with fun games that our guests raved about, and both he and Michelle were truly irreplaceable in ensuring our celebration went off without a hitch. I wish I could give steven mack a zero star rating. this man was an absolute disaster. first he gave us attitude when he was asked about setting up for the ceremony. then he played the WRONG music for the bridal processional and for my entry, but i told them i wasn’t walking until he corrected it. then he played dance music through the dinner (didn’t play any of the songs i’d specifically outlined), disregarded doing toasts and had to be reminded, and then when the dancing portion began… he couldn’t have been worse. literally this man was the bane of my wedding and he did not care. he refused to play the songs from my list, even when we explicitly went and asked him to. i was furious, my husband was furious, my mom was furious, and we expressed to him that he was doing the worst and he was like yes i understand, and then continued. we had the event planner print another copy of our playlist (that was sent to him and he had a copy of) off during the reception and it as still disregarded. he also chose not to do the garter/bouquet toss and only did the cake cutting because the photographer asked. overall this business is highly unprofessional- i contacted the office the week following and he never responded to me about the offensively bad DJing at my event. please do yourself a favor and don’t hire them.

We were shocked to get this review on Steve as he has been with us a long time and we always get great reviews on him. I'm not going to dispute anything this couple stated except to say the DJ software that Steve uses keeps a list of what music was played and their requested dinner music and dance music were indeed played. He also shoots video throughout the night and it is obvious that guests were having a great time. Many of them thanked him at the end of the night and told him what a great job he did.
