Why weddings? Why events? Well, love, of course. I am a hopeless romantic who has a knack for theatre and a love for organization. So....voila! Wedding planner. I am the stage manager to your special day and I do it because I absolutely love it. I love love. I love family time and the important connections that are the fabric of our very being and certainly our important life moments.
I am completely committed to you. I want to say "yes!" to every single thing (unless, of course, it's going to burn the venue down). I want your family and friends to consider me a go to, someone who brings peace to your day. It helps that I can be a lot of fun and you can often find me bopping or dancing around your wedding myself!

Talented and organized wedding coordinator
It’s difficult to put into words how exceptional it was to work with Kayla. We hired Kayla as our wedding day-of-coordinator and started meeting with her several months prior. From the first meeting, Kayla’s can-do attitude and warm smile put us at ease. Planning a wedding is no small feat but we were so lucky to have Kayla’s help each and every step of the way. She made us feel so comfortable in this process, fielding all of our questions with quick replies and guiding us through our planning. She advocated for us the entire way and consistently showed up for us including attending our final venue meeting to make sure everything ran smoothly. When we finally met Kayla in-person on the night of our rehearsal, it was like seeing a trusted friend. On the day of the wedding, Kayla and her assistant Zach executed our visions flawlessly. Having Kayla on board brought a sense of calm and let us fully enjoy the day with our family and friends. We would hire her again in a heartbeat! We can’t recommend her highly enough.

Experienced and capable wedding planner
Kayla Lyon was the wedding planner for my daughter's wedding near Endicott NY in July 2026, and she did a great job, ensuring the day was calm and organized, exactly how my daughter wanted it. Kayla is a good listener, she wanted to understand exactly what was most important to the bride and groom. She also was very familiar with the venue, Howland Farm, and was so helpful with set-up and breakdown. She also recommended several vendors, which was really helpful since we do not live locally. Kayla organized monthly video calls leading up to the wedding to keep all the planning on track. On the day of, she patiently fielded every question with a smile. Thank you Kayla, you are a special person and our family really appreciates all you did to make this wedding a beautiful and memorable event.

BEST COORDINATOR EVER
Kayla truly made our wedding everything I could have ever dreamed of. From start to finish, she went above and beyond in every possible way. In the months leading up to the wedding, she was constantly in communication with us, joined vendor phone calls, answered every question I had (no matter how small), and made sure every detail was organized and accounted for. She even provided a wedding website that allowed us to add guests, create a layout and see our vision come to life. On the wedding day itself, she completely took the stress off our shoulders. Setup and cleanup felt nonexistent for me, my husband, and our families because she handled everything so seamlessly. She made sure all of our vendors were prepared, on time, and exactly where they needed to be so the entire day flowed perfectly. Kayla is so much more than just a wedding planner or coordinator—she genuinely cares and puts her whole heart into what she does. I can truly say our day would have been what it was without her. I can’t recommend her enough. If you’re considering hiring her, do it—you will be so glad you did!

Kayla is terrific
Kayla helped enormously in planning and organizing my daughter's bat mitzvah. I was feeling a bit over my head in planning the event. I probably started too late, and Kayla was able to find an excellent venue, connected me to photographers and DJ's, and calmed me down so that I could sleep at night. She also helped with the light lunch after the ceremony, the programs, and all the little stuff. She was terrific and I highly recommend.
