The Wood Vibrations

The concept for The Wood Vibrations was to build a band with limitations and then see how far beyond the limits we could go. Using acoustic instruments and our voices, we’ve created a sound and style that is a unique statement amongst bands who play the music of other artists. With a repertoire of songs that ranges from atmospheric background to floor stomping dance anthems from the last 70 years, there is music for everyone to enjoy. The Wood Vibrations is very unique group. We function as an actual band unlike most groups that consist of freelance musicians for hire. Our instrumentation allows for far more control over volume (then most bands) without sacrificing energy. We can adjust to any environment with band configurations ranging from 2-5 musicians. All musicians sing so there is always plenty of variety. As for the music, doing songs the way we do always makes for a unique experience. We cover everything from The Beatles and Springsteen to Whitney Houston and Lady Gaga to get the party moving. We provide a sound, style, and vibe that is ours.
