Sarah & Simon Cake Design is a custom cake company based in Brooklyn. We specialize in unique and artful designs to create truly one-of-a-kind wedding and celebration cakes. Pulling from her background in fine art, Sarah approaches cake design from the standpoint of an artist to inform the way she composes and creates edible work. Her cakes are made entirely from scratch by a small team of professionals, using high quality ingredients and trusted recipes--each cake tastes as exquisitely delicious as it looks. Yes! All cakes are completely custom and handmade. It's truly a visual collaboration between my clients and I.
The size of your cake is determined by the amount of people you're looking to serve and what kind of visual impact you want it to have. If you're having a big wedding but like the look of a smaller wedding cake, we also offer backup sheet cakes so every guest can have a slice.
Delivery is a separate fee based on where the cake is going and whether or not any additional work has to be done on site once delivered (stacking, decoration, etc).
I charge a $100 fee for cake tastings/design consultations.
If the order is large enough I can make cookies with custom royal icing designs, but I do not offer full dessert bar options.
