About this venue
501 Union is a space of subtle distinction and quiet refinement. The building dates back to 1916 and once served as a classic car restoration shop. It was transformed into a private events venue in 2013 and now provides a unique backdrop for Brooklyn's most stylish weddings. Paired with our exceptional service, guests can enjoy three distinct spaces within the venue: a covered atrium, an elegant cocktail lounge, and a light-filled reception hall. Locally-sourced design elements include Modo chandeliers by Jason Miller, customized Flavor Paper wallpaper, and a vaulted skylight that runs the length of the main gathering space reflect the best of old and new Brooklyn: industrial chic with a touch of modern glamour.

Tucked inside the historic 1916 building, the Cocktail Lounge offers a chic, inviting space for guests to mingle and enjoy signature drinks. With carrara marble bars, moody lighting, and vintage-inspired décor, it blends industrial heritage with modern elegance. The lounge flows seamlessly into the atrium and reception hall, creating a perfect setting for cocktail hour and effortless guest circulation.

The Covered Atrium at 501 Union is a bright and airy 1,400 sq ft space ideal for ceremonies or cocktail hour. Enclosed by glass walls that open to Union Street, it features seasonal greenery, high ceilings, and seamless flow from the adjacent cocktail lounge

Perfection
The minute my husband and I walked into 501 Union, we knew we wanted to have our wedding there. It's got modern amenities with 1920's charm and party vibes. Size- unreal for NYC. We had so many options and so much room to play with 20 different layouts. There's multiple rooms to section off or open up. We loved the lounge for an intimate entry and first drink space. We appreciated having a separate space for cocktail hour. Our reception rooms was perfect and fit our party of 135 people so comfortably and with space for a beautiful dance floor. There's two bars so people never had to wait. All of it is immaculately clean. Space- The wallpaper, furniture, decor and brass and marble bars are sooo well done. We loved that they had 8 private bathroom stalls, so people were never stuck on line. Our private bridal suite was such a fabulous space to take a moment and fix my hair/makeup and change my shoes, etc. Staff- Everyone was so kind and so helpful. The bartenders were fabulous- great cocktails and so quick. Our doorman was so sweet. Andrea was fabulous and so flexible with all the changes I wanted to make regarding the drinks packaging. Price was unbeatable. We were soo impressed!!
Perfect Romantic Venue
501 Union was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From the moment we first reached out, the team was incredibly communicative, flexible and helpful in ensuring we had the romantic, moody atmosphere we desired. Andrea and Lisa in particular were instrumental in keeping us organized and providing a truly collaborative environment to bring our vision to life. The venue itself is perfectly moldable to anything you desire, and the final result was an absolutely stunning, one-of-a-kind celebration that exceeded our wildest dreams. We can't thank the 501 Union team enough for their hard work and support in making our special day so magical.
A Great Brooklyn Venue!
501 Union was the perfect venue for us! Lots of great photo spots nearby, and the space itself has a warm yet modern look that really worked with our vibe and laid the foundation for a beautiful wedding. Staff was warm, friendly, and communicative throughout the planning process and on the day. They’ve got tons of experience and it shows! Also want to give a shoutout to Carl and the bartending team for pouring some of the best drinks we’ve had in the city. We’re so glad we got married there and hope to return as guests someday!

AND BOOK 501 UNION RIGHT NOW!!! 501 Union was the perfect venue for our wedding. We absolutely fell in love with the space; it's beautiful even without any decorations. The package was comprehensive and way better than a lot of other venues we looked at. The value you get for this space is amazing. From the moment we first reached out, the team's communication was prompt, enthusiastic, and warm. Our venue coordinator changed during the process but the transition to our new coordinator was completely smooth and nothing was lost. Andrea and the staff were so on top of everything; they went above and beyond to ensure the space was gorgeous, clean, and perfectly set up. We were blown away by the space the day of and how accommodating the team was with all of our requests. They seriously could not have made the space any more inviting and welcoming. We are SO grateful to 501 Union for helping make our wedding day everything we dreamed of. Thank you!!!!!
