I am a photographer and artist from the Pacific Northwest with Costa Rican and Scottish roots. My favorite things are dinosaurs, exploring new cities, board games, soccer, National Parks, and whiskey. I have been fortunate to photograph 200+ weddings in my PNW home, to ruins in Scotland, cityscapes in Vietnam, to the beaches of Maui, and beyond! I live in Portland, Oregon with my two dogs and three cats | 🏳️🌈🦖⛰️✈️📸⚽🫶🏼🌈🌲🦕🏝 Fun Fact: I was born on Leap Year Day so I'm 9 years old 🥳!
High quality, artistic photography with a very chill vibe. I worked in mental health before I transitioned to photography full-time over ten years ago and couples frequently tell me they appreciated my calm demeanor on their wedding day. However, I was also a goalkeeper on my college soccer team so I know how to step up and direct in moments when it's needed! My work has been featured in Vogue, ELLE, Oregon Bride, BRIDES, California Wedding Day, Neil Lane, and National Geographic! Engagement photos with Leah-- 10/10!
We were so pleased with Leah as our photographer! We booked her for our wedding and so far have had our engagement photos taken by her. She was relaxed, efficient and professional, while helping us feel more comfortable in front of the camera and so beautifully capturing our love for each other! We had a past attempt at engagement photos with a different photographer that didn't go so well, and by comparison, we greatly valued our experience with Leah. Can't wait to see how she captures our wedding day!

Amazing style and personality!
Leah was the absolute best photographer! We were drawn into her work by seeing so many different couples with diverse genders, body sizes, races, and styles. It was important to us to find someone who would respect who we are and understand we weren’t trying to fit a traditional mold. Leah gets it! We knew she was the photographer for us when we mentioned Mike Bennett, our favorite local artist, and she not only knew of him but also was a big fan. Every step of the process of meeting, chatting about what we wanted, engagement shoot, our “rehearsal dinner”/signing papers night before, and the day of, were so smooth. Leah is so fun, kind, and sweet! Also omg the best photos of us and our guests ever! Looking back at the photos perfectly captures the feeling of the day, we didn’t take any photos ourselves the day of, and didn’t need to, she had it covered and got everything we wanted and more. An Unforgettable Experience with Leah!
We cannot recommend Leah enough! From start to finish, she captured every moment of our perfect wedding day and even the day after exploring in the breathtaking Yellowstone national park. Still in love with the photos!
Leah photographed our small wedding in South Bend, WA and the photos are magical. I’m still in love with them months later! She completely understood the fairytale/romantic vibe we were looking for, and also delivered wonderful candids from the reception. Also, her prices were super reasonable and she was easy to communicate/work with. I’ve shared just a couple of my favorites from the portraits, but I swear I have a new favorite every time I look at the album. Highly recommend!!
