Lead Videographer / Business Owner

Lauren is a Portland, Oregon-based filmmaker who documents weddings and events worldwide. She earned her MFA in Documentary Arts from Duke University, bringing a deep understanding of storytelling and visual artistry to her work. She offers a blend of digital and Super 8/16mm wedding films, capturing weddings with a timeless and cinematic touch. With over 100 weddings filmed, her work has been featured in several different publications. In 2024 and 2025, she was recognized as Oregon Wedding Day’s Best Videographer.

Lauren is passionate about crafting wedding films that defy convention and reflect each couple’s unique essence. She takes a documentary approach, creating an unobtrusive yet supportive environment that naturally allows authentic moments to unfold. No film is outsourced and is entirely edited and shot by Lauren.

    Master storyteller

    Lauren is the most incredible videographer and we are so glad we found her. She is insanely talented and such a joy to work with.     Amazing unique videographer

    I had a wonderful experience working with Lovebug Pictures for multiple weddings as a wedding planner. Their style was documentary, candid, and fun - they captured the day in a natural way that allowed the emotions and energy of the celebration to shine through. The quality of their work was organic, authentic, and absolutely beautiful. The final video was a perfect representation of the day, full of genuine moments and heartfelt details.     The most talented videographer

    We couldn’t recommend Lauren enough as your wedding videographer! Not only is she so incredibly talented, but she was such a fun addition to have at our wedding. She has such a fun and bubbly personality and she wasn’t afraid to jump right in and capture the special moments of our day. Her turnaround was super quick and we couldn’t be happier with how our videos turned out. Our family and friends are in awe of them! Hiring a good videographer is an investment and she was certainly worth every penny.

    Lovebug Pictures does amazing work!

    Lauren created the most amazing wedding video for my husband and I, and I still tear up watching it over again. I am so happy that we chose to work with Lauren to memorialize this special day. The video she created is such a beautiful blend of documentary and home video styles. We still have family and friends that rave about the video to this day.     The perfect choice for videography!
