While we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience, I would like to provide a bit of additional context for couples reading this review. Since your wedding was almost two years ago, I went back and reviewed everything to ensure accuracy. We understand that the first set of sneak peek photos we sent did not match your ideal editing style. However, we resolved this by re-editing the sneak peek photos live with you over Zoom to ensure the editing style you wanted was achieved. During that live re-edit you also asked us to remove the pole in the background of your ceremony space. We successfully removed the pole from 231 images out of the 241 images where it appeared. The remaining images shared in your review did still have some minor imperfections due to the complexity of the background elements. While we would have loved the opportunity to continue refining those images further, you wrote the following at the end of your email: “Our goal is to reach an amicable resolution by obtaining the raw files rather than escalating the matter through reviews and other channels. Should we be unable to receive the raw files, we would expect the changes to these photos and monetary compensation for the stress and dissatisfaction we have experienced with your services.” After receiving that message, we chose to provide you with the RAW files. Many photographers do not release RAW files, but we felt it was the best way to give you full flexibility with the images and hopefully bring the situation to a positive resolution. The additional re-editing work we completed was done free of charge because we do care about our couples. Typically our editing team focuses on color correction, and more detailed Photoshop edits are outsourced to a professional editor. The $150 hourly rate for that type of work is outlined in the contract you signed. In your case we completed those edits without charging you. I also want to clarify the statement that the photographer was reassigned two weeks before the wedding. For clarity, the photographer who photographed your wedding was contracted in writing on January 22, 2024, which was approximately six months before your wedding date. All of our couples are able to view photographer portfolios directly on our website. The same photographer assigned in January was the photographer who captured your wedding. Your gallery was delivered within the agreed timeline. Your wedding took place on June 29, 2024 and the full gallery was delivered on August 31, 2024, which was within the 8 to 14 week delivery window outlined in the contract. When we first delivered the gallery, we did miss removing a few of the poles. You kindly reminded us and wrote, “Thank you for taking the time to edit the photos. They look fantastic. However, we noticed things like the telephone poles in the background weren’t removed as discussed with Parker. Could we get that done as discussed?” While it did take us until October to complete those additional edits, we did remove the poles to the best of our ability. We truly wish you both the very best. As you can see from our many five star reviews, our goal has always been to provide couples with a great experience and beautiful memories from their wedding day.
