I'm Jen, the founder of Vow House, a Seattle-based wedding photography studio dedicated to capturing love stories with an editorial, artful, and cinematic approach. With over a decade of experience behind the camera, I have built a body of work that blends moody, timeless imagery with authentic storytelling, tailored to each couple’s vision. My work is deeply influenced by atmosphere and environment, the rainy Seattle streets, mountain backdrops, candlelit interiors, and I thrive on translating these settings into images that feel both grand and intimate.

My ability to merge digital with film nostalgia, crafting galleries that feel timeless, cinematic, and deeply personal. From intimate elopements in the mountains to grand city celebrations, I approach each event with calm guidance and an intuitive eye, capturing both iconic portraits and unguarded, in-between moments.     Jen was an absolute dream to work with. From our engagement session to our wedding day, she made us feel completely comfortable in front of the camera. Neither of us are naturals at posing, but Jen gave just enough direction while still allowing us to be ourselves, which made every photo feel genuine. She also helped so much with our wedding timeline and knew exactly how to keep the day moving while making sure we never felt rushed. She captured every important moment while somehow blending into the background when she needed to. Even before receiving our full gallery, the sneak peeks completely blew us away. They are stunning, and we already know these photos will be treasured for the rest of our lives. We couldn’t recommend Jen more!

    The best decision we made for our wedding

    Jen was the easiest and most wonderful vendor we worked with for our wedding. From start to finish, she was kind, patient, and incredibly professional. She managed to keep our timeline perfectly on track (which my entire family noted since our family is so gigantic!) while still making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. What stood out most was how accommodating she was; every little request I had. Her communication and turnaround time were impeccable; we received our photos so quickly, and every single one was stunning. Honestly, I’d hire her again in a heartbeat if I could. Most couples book me 12–18 months in advance, especially for popular summer and fall dates. I recommend reaching out as soon as you have your venue secured to ensure availability.
I typically photograph weddings solo, but I do offer the option of adding a second photographer for fuller coverage. This is a great choice if you’d like simultaneous coverage of different locations, have a larger wedding greater then 150 guests, or extra perspectives of the day.
Yes. Every image you receive is carefully edited to reflect the Vow House aesthetic: timeless, cinematic, and artfully refined. I don’t deliver unedited or raw images.
I always send a sneak peek within days of your wedding. Your full gallery is delivered within 6–10 weeks, depending on the season.
In the rare event of an emergency, I have a trusted network of professional wedding photographers I can call on to step in. Because of my connections in the industry, I ensure you’ll have someone of equal talent and professionalism.
For a full wedding day, couples typically receive 600–900 edited images, though the final number depends on the length and flow of your celebration. In general, 50 images an hour is an average.
Vow House is focused exclusively on photography. However, I work closely with several talented videographers and would be happy to recommend trusted partners.
Yes. I am a fully licensed and insured professional photographer, which means you and your venue are always protected.
Yes! I regularly photograph across the Pacific Northwest and am available for destination weddings worldwide. There is no travel fee within 75 miles of Seattle. Beyond that, $2 per mile (one way) as well as Ferry Cost and Toll costs (if applicable). For weddings requiring flights, hotels, or multi-day stays, travel costs will be itemized and estimated based on your location and schedule.
A signed contract and a retainer officially reserve your date. The remaining balance is due closer to your wedding.
I embrace all weather, some of my favorite images have come from moody skies and rain. I’ll help you adjust and keep everything running smoothly.
I shoot with professional full-frame cameras and vintage film cameras, always carrying backups to ensure your day is fully protected.
Of course! While I encourage couples to consider an “unplugged ceremony” for fewer distractions, I’m happy for guests to capture moments throughout the day.
Yes. I offer high-quality albums and fine art prints designed to beautifully preserve your wedding story.
