I'm Jen, the founder of Vow House, a Seattle-based wedding photography studio dedicated to capturing love stories with an editorial, artful, and cinematic approach. With over a decade of experience behind the camera, I have built a body of work that blends moody, timeless imagery with authentic storytelling, tailored to each couple’s vision. My work is deeply influenced by atmosphere and environment, the rainy Seattle streets, mountain backdrops, candlelit interiors, and I thrive on translating these settings into images that feel both grand and intimate.
What sets me apart is my ability to merge digital precision with vintage film nostalgia, crafting galleries that feel timeless, cinematic, and deeply personal. From intimate elopements in the mountains to grand city celebrations, I approach each event with calm guidance and an intuitive eye, capturing both iconic portraits and unguarded, in-between moments. Beautiful, Timeless, and fun!
Vow House was the perfect choice for our wedding photography. From the very beginning, their communication was easy, with fast responses and thorough answers to all our questions. On the day of our wedding, Jennifer from Vow House worked seamlessly with our tight timeline and made us both feel comfortable and at ease. The final photos are absolutely beautiful - perfectly capturing the special moments of our day in a timeless, elegant way. We're still in awe looking back at the photos and reliving our wedding day. Vow House's incredible work and value is truly unmatched.
The best decision we made for our wedding
Jen was the easiest and most wonderful vendor we worked with for our wedding. From start to finish, she was kind, patient, and incredibly professional. She managed to keep our timeline perfectly on track (which my entire family noted since our family is so gigantic!) while still making everyone feel relaxed and comfortable. What stood out most was how accommodating she was; every little request I had. Her communication and turnaround time were impeccable; we received our photos so quickly, and every single one was stunning. Honestly, I’d hire her again in a heartbeat if I could. She deserves to charge more for the level of care, talent, and professionalism she brings. Jen went above and beyond in every way, and we’re so grateful to have had her capture our day so beautifully.
Effortless and enchanting wedding photos
Jen did an amazing job with our wedding photos, and delivered exactly what we hoped for. We selected her based on her easy-going demeanor and obvious professionalism. Communication was prompt and clear, her contract was easy to understand, and she was well prepared on the day of our wedding. From our first meeting during our engagement photoshoot, she put both of us at ease. My husband and I are both a bit camera shy, but she guided us through various poses and facial expressions in a way that felt fun, light-hearted, and easy. She went above and beyond, arriving at both the engagement photos and the wedding at an hour early to scope things out, which helped the portraits themselves flow seamlessly. The whole day of the wedding, Jen was a fun and helpful presence. We will remember her very fondly. Ultimately, the photos turned out beautifully. She was receptive to our goals for our photos, capturing a perfect mix of dramatic portraits, gleeful candids, small details, and intimate moments. She clearly understood the mood we were going for, and the photos reflect how the wedding itself felt in the moment.
