About this venue
The Columbia River Gorge’s premier event space offering a place for community and celebration in the heart of the Pacific Northwest. The Black Pearl on the Columbia is an open-concept industrial space offering unmatched sweeping panoramic views of the Columbia River and Mt. Hood. With both indoor and outdoor space as well as large windows and accordion doors that create a connection to the surrounding landscape, the Black Pearl is the perfect place to gather any time of year, no matter the weather. At 12,600 total sq ft the venue has all the space you need to bring any concept to life, including a warming kitchen with commercial refrigerator & freezer, back-to-back fireplaces, and a parking lot set up with electricity for food trucks or anything else you can dream of.

Our open-concept first level can hold 465 people (230 seated) and features accordion doors that open up to our back river's edge patio with access to the east side plaza and west parking lot.

The expansive second level can hold 585 people (270 seated) with additional access to a the back and east side balconies as well as a 500 sq. ft. mezzanine with a bird's eye view of Mt. Hood.
