Hello! I'm Rachael. I'm a wife, mom and nerd extraordinaire. I love chasing my young sons around, everything Disney and Star Wars, and (of course) photography. Wedding photography is what feeds my Soul. I love the overwhelming joy that weddings bring out in people, and the details that have been so meticulously planned. You’ve poured so much time, effort and love into this day, and I love being able to help you keep the memory forever! LGBTQ+ friendly and welcoming all identities!

I try to be completely unnoticed, waiting for the perfect moments. The candid moments are the memories you want to cherish for the rest of your life. Being photographed can feel awkward. I've built my direction style around my own feeling of awkward. I'll give you lots of direction that is dynamic and engaging, so you aren’t so pose-y. You won't have to worry about a thing. Wedding photography is important but I won't take you away for 2 hours for portraits. You should be enjoying the day you’ve been planning and waiting for!

    Seamless, Fun, and Beautiful Results

    Absolutely the best

    Rachael was the best choice for our photographer and she wasn't even at the wedding. Rachael was so professional and approachable from the start, we loved working with her for our engagement shoot and those photos turned out amazing. Then she got sick the week before the wedding! She immediately had options for us and recommended her second shooter Kathleen as her replacement, if we wanted. We were anxious about the last minute change but everything went so smoothly the day of! Kathleen was fantastic from the get go and we immediately felt comfortable with her taking over for Rachael. Both of them are lovely and I would trust either at anyone's wedding. Rachael edited the photos that Kathleen took and we got so many great shots, I'm having trouble paring them down for the photo album. Seriously so happy we chose Rachael!

    Amazing Photographer

    Sweet Summer Elopement

    Rachael shot our elopement in summer of 2021 and nailed our vision. We wanted a nice mix of traditional wedding photography for family and some more editorial/fashion inspired images for us to create a gallery wall in our future home. Rachael was super easy to communicate with and delivered our edited images very quickly in a fun online gallery. I would recommend her to anyone for weddings big or small, engagements, and bridal showers!

How many photos received in the package depends on weather, venue, ceremony time, family, bridal party size, and the amount of wedding day coverage purchased. For a full day of coverage, I typically deliver 400-1000 images.
Yes, to the extent that you may not sell the photos or claim them for your own portfolio purposes. With every package you are given the printing rights, and are able to print as many photos as you’d like! Feel free to create thank you cards, holiday cards, canvases or other prints for your own personal use! Due to storage limitations there is no guarantee that we will have copies of your photos, should they be lost. I always recommend personally backing up your photos once you receive them.
Depending on the workload and time of the year, you can expect your photos anywhere from 2-4 weeks after your wedding date.
Enjoy your day by smiling, relaxing and having fun! I feel it is important for you to feel comfortable with the photographer; that is why I encourage my couples to have the same photographer for both engagement and wedding photography. Venues with more natural lighting are also encouraged. Be creative! Show everyone who you are through your decorations and pops of color.
As much notice as you can give me is great, but I can work with as little as a few months notice! If your wedding is coming up quicker than that, and you don’t have a photographer, please do reach out and I’ll do my best to accommodate!
Definitely. All final images will be edited for color, saturation, exposure, and sharpness to ensure they look beautiful. I also offer retouching services like blemish removal and teeth whitening for no charge, if you wish to add this on.
If you select the Elite package, I’ll bring one or more assistant photographers. This is included in that cost!
No, I prefer focusing on photography only, so you can get the best wedding pictures possible.
In my 12 years of experience as a wedding photographer, I’ve never cancelled a booking. In the very rare event that I’m unable to photograph your wedding, I’ll make sure you’re covered by one of my colleagues or my contracted assistant. I’ll also provide you with a list of photographers from the many networking groups I’m in, so you can find the perfect replacement.
