About this venue

Hamilton Loft is a one-of-a-kind venue with a modern Brooklyn loft feel that's woven with historical character. Located in the heart of Brooklyn’s Red Hook neighborhood, the beautiful loft space features high ceilings, wooden beams, and breathtaking skylights. You're welcome to utilize the gorgeous furnishings and giant plants that come with the space, or bring your own unique vision to life. With tables and chairs for up to 150 people, we make it easy to plan your celebration. Our venue offers 6,000 square feet of wide open indoor space. The main event space can adapt to the ceremony and reception alike, with a maximum capacity of 250 people standing and up to 150 people seated comfortably. Meanwhile, 6,000 square feet of gated open space just outside the main doors allows the wedding festivities to extend outdoors. We've made things easy with our in-house bar service—choose from a variety of packages.

Featuring exposed brick accent walls, metal ceiling details, and sleek, polished concrete floors, the loft emulates industrial-chic Brooklyn design. There are separate interior ceremony and reception areas, and you are also welcome to extend your event to the 6,000-square-foot outdoor space.

    Perfect Venue

    The venue was so beautiful! Steve and Enzo were incredibly helpful and accommodating as well. They truly go above and beyond. I would definitely ask them what the venue supplies before buying anything or renting anything as I was surprised by how much was included! What I liked about the space, and a huge reason why we picked the venue was because Steve was so flexible. Anything we wanted to do, Steve said he could make it happen (within reason of course). The venue was the perfect size for the wedding - we had around 120 guests and we only used the indoor space. Steve and Enzo are passionate about this space, they are constantly renovating and improving it. From the time we toured to the time of our wedding they had renovated the bride and groom suite, Enzo had grown many more plants, and the bathroom foyer area was renovated as well. For the his and hers cocktails they even created a chrysanthemum syrup!! They will try anything and stop at nothing to make your event perfect. I can't recommend them enough. Working with them was such a pleasure because you could tell they cared about making the event perfect. Steve was responsive and answered all of our silly questions even after the wedding was over.

    Hamilton Loft Venue

    From our first conversation, the team at Hamilton Loft responded quickly to every question we had and made sure we understood all the details about our big day. The space itself is exactly what we needed. It is clean, spacious, and filled with natural light that made everything feel open and airy. What really stood out was how accommodating they were throughout the planning process and on our wedding day. Steve went out of their way to help us with last-minute requests and made sure everything ran smoothly. We felt supported every step of the way, and our guests talked about how beautiful and comfortable the venue was. We'd definitely recommend Hamilton Loft to any couple looking for a reliable, welcoming space for their wedding.

    Hamilton Loft was the first venue we looked at for our wedding and we knew it would fit our vision. Working with Steve and his team made it easy to plan. We were able to multiple site visits with our vendors to check out the venue. There is plenty of power through out the space for your needs. Even has distro power with camlock tie in. Bar program was amazing , we told them what we wanted and they created a wonderful signature cocktail. Plenty of options to choose from. Enzo was wonderful working with us on the day of the wedding as well. One of the best thing was that we were able to bring our dog to the venue for our wedding. Venue can be used more than just a wedding , it can host social events and cooperate as well. I would recommend this venue for your event.

    Best venue ever!

    Hamilton Loft is an incredible venue and Steve, Enzo, and the entire staff went above and beyond for our wedding. Everyone was so incredibly kind, welcoming, generous, and accommodating. The space itself is incredibly elegant and beautiful and is the dream space for any Brooklyn wedding, and the Loft team goes the extra mile. Our guests were so taken care of that multiple people approached us on wedding day and days following to pass on how amazing the staff was. Not only that, but the staff said yes to every request we had. We really felt like we were their highest priority on our wedding day and they were a huge part of making the day feel truly special and perfect. We have been recommending this space to everyone because not only do you get a beautiful and unique venue, but the service is second to none!

    The ideal wedding space

    Steve and the team are so wonderful and very thoughtful about every little detail. This is the rare loft space where you don't have to rent everything/plan out all the logistics yourself, but you still get a nice open space to add your own touches. They also have a great in-house bar package, and the cocktail selections were pretty fabulous and very au courant. We live in Brooklyn, so we're no strangers to trendy cocktails, but we (and the wedding guests) walked away with some new favorites. Really cannot recommend this venue enough!

Our building is located 12 miles away from LaGuardia Airport and 20 miles from JFK Airport.
Shell’s Loft includes a 900 sq. ft kitchen featuring ample counter space, 1 refrigerator, 1 deep freezer, and 1 compartment sink. There are two separate service entrances into the kitchen. Caterers may opt to bring in additional cooking equipment. Please check with your venue coordinator for any restrictions. We only allow reputable catering companies to use the kitchen.
While generally only allow pets during wedding ceremonies—but the pet must be well-behaved and on a leash. You MUST receive prior approval for this. The pet cannot remain in the space after the ceremony / during the reception.
