About this venue

Established Spring 2010 Milk and Roses is a Greenpoint mainstay. All of our products are ethically and humanely sourced, and organic whenever possible. We serve American cuisine with a Southern Italian influence. We feature boutique wines, craft beer, and domestic cocktails. A unique atmosphere and spacious garden are perfect for any private event.

    We had the dreamiest wedding at Milk & Roses and truly cannot say enough wonderful things about Suzanne and her team. From the very beginning, Suzanne was so kind, thoughtful, and incredibly responsive. She answered every question (and we had a lot!), helped us navigate all the logistics of a large wedding with multiple moving parts, and was always calm, warm, and reassuring. She really went above and beyond to make everything feel easy and stress-free. Our day itself was an absolute dream. The staff at Milk & Roses were so attentive, friendly, and professional — they made everything flow seamlessly. We had an intense timeline, and different spaces being used throughout the night, and somehow, everything ran perfectly. We felt so supported every step of the way. And of course… the garden. It’s honestly one of the best-kept secrets in Brooklyn. Lush, romantic, and totally magical — it felt like our own little oasis in the middle of Greenpoint. The setting was beautiful beyond words, and our guests couldn’t stop talking about how stunning it was (and how amazing the food was, too!). We’re so grateful to Suzanne and the entire Milk & Roses team for making our wedding day so special. It truly exceeded every expectation, and we can’t imagine having celebrated anywhere else.

    Milk And Roses was the perfect venue for our wedding. From the beginning, the communication with their event coordinator Susanne was direct and non-urgent, putting us at ease throughout the planning process. The venue itself is absolutely gorgeous, requiring little to no additional decorations. The food, drinks, and overall atmosphere were incredible - we received so many compliments from our guests. Susanne pulled everything together seamlessly, creating very little stress for us along the way. We and our guests had the best day of our lives celebrating at Milk And Roses.

    From the moment we stepped into Milk & Roses, we knew it was the one. The space is absolutely gorgeous, especially the garden, and the team is clearly a well-oiled machine when it comes to events. Susanne was wonderful to work with—super communicative and accommodating throughout the entire process. Everything ran so smoothly, from coordination with our vendors to setting up a rain backup plan (which we thankfully didn’t need!). Our guests raved about the food, and the staff on the day of were kind, attentive, and totally on it. We couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

    We were really disappointed that we didn't end up booking Milk and Roses for our wedding venue. The space itself is absolutely delightful - a charming and intimate setting that would have been perfect for our celebration. However, our interactions with the venue coordinator and staff left us with a bad gut feeling. Their communication style came across as unprofessional. My first appointment with the event planner was missed. She called me hours later to apologize. At my rescheduled appointment I was kept waiting while she talked on her cell phone before she showed me around. She was slightly reassuring when it came to showing me around and answering questions. As we parted, she assured me that she would send a quote. A day or two passed without any contact. I both emailed and text to remind her . (leaving days in between). Those were ignored, until I reached out on Zola. Then she still sent no estimate, just the payment package I already had. I haven't heard from her since. Every other venue was very kind and/or professional, followed up with me more than once and sent estimates in a timely manner. Receiving extremely poor service when we went in to dine cemented our decision to pass on booking. It's such a shame, as I had really wanted to host our wedding there.
