About this venue

Established Spring 2010 Milk and Roses is a Greenpoint mainstay. All of our products are ethically and humanely sourced, and organic whenever possible. We serve American cuisine with a Southern Italian influence. We feature boutique wines, craft beer, and domestic cocktails. A unique atmosphere and spacious garden are perfect for any private event.

    From the moment we stepped into Milk & Roses, we knew it was the one. The space is absolutely gorgeous, especially the garden, and the team is clearly a well-oiled machine when it comes to events. Susanne was wonderful to work with—super communicative and accommodating throughout the entire process. Everything ran so smoothly, from coordination with our vendors to setting up a rain backup plan (which we thankfully didn’t need!). Our guests raved about the food, and the staff on the day of were kind, attentive, and totally on it. We couldn’t imagine having our wedding anywhere else.

    We were really disappointed that we didn't end up booking Milk and Roses for our wedding venue. The space itself is absolutely delightful - a charming and intimate setting that would have been perfect for our celebration. However, our interactions with the venue coordinator and staff left us with a bad gut feeling. Their communication style came across as unprofessional. My first appointment with the event planner was missed. She called me hours later to apologize. At my rescheduled appointment I was kept waiting while she talked on her cell phone before she showed me around. She was slightly reassuring when it came to showing me around and answering questions. As we parted, she assured me that she would send a quote. A day or two passed without any contact. I both emailed and text to remind her . (leaving days in between). Those were ignored, until I reached out on Zola. Then she still sent no estimate, just the payment package I already had. I haven't heard from her since. Every other venue was very kind and/or professional, followed up with me more than once and sent estimates in a timely manner. Receiving extremely poor service when we went in to dine cemented our decision to pass on booking. It's such a shame, as I had really wanted to host our wedding there.

    Milk And Roses was the perfect venue for our wedding day. From the moment we first reached out, their communication was clear, fast, and efficient - making the planning process a breeze. The space itself was truly dreamy and ethereal, like a Parisian garden in the middle of Greenpoint. It served as an intimate gathering for our closest loved ones, but was also spacious enough to host over 100 guests comfortably. We loved working with Susana, who was the best part about booking this venue. She went above and beyond to make our special day everything we had envisioned. We couldn't have asked for a more perfect location to celebrate our love.

    Milk And Roses was the perfect venue for our small wedding. From the prompt communication with the staff to the amazing service they provided, everything about our experience with them was exceptional. Susanne, the event coordinator, took great care of us and ensured the day ran smoothly. The intimate size of the venue created a cozy and private atmosphere, yet it was still easily accessible for our guests. We highly recommend Milk And Roses to any couple looking for a wonderful wedding venue in a great location.
