About this venue

Since Bacchus inception on April 17th, 2003, the bistro has been an integral part of our operations. Expect to be charmed by an aura of accentuated Eurocentric energies from the moment you step inside, either through our friendly staff or an atmosphere bustling with patrons, wine pours & classic to contemporary French dishes. Amid much fanfare, the bistro’s exposed red brick & hardwood floors, among other pristine features, beckons for an intimate setting. With its “cul de sac” facade, the bistro leads to an alluring outdoor garden where a plethora of vows have been ceremoniously exchanged “pun intended!!”

Weddings are special at Bacchus. We close the entire restaurant for you, your family, and your friends. Our intimate, warm setting is yours for the day to do as you will. The Dining room is our latest innovative architectural design that was completed around 2022. The dining room is the epitome of the black-tie event; it’s a picturesque space designed for those who love to entertain. It resembles elegance and sophistication but, most importantly, reflects our core objectives as a neighborhood restaurant. It is perfectly secluded with access to our second garden & an en suite lavatory.

Adjacent to the bistro, the wine bar opened in the summer 2015, and its traditional role is to showcase our illustrious, extensive but not meant to intimidate wine selection. The French doors that open inward allow for one to soak up the natural sunlight from inside or while sitting on the terrace while cooling off to a glass of rosè or aperitif. The Wine bar, in its ambiance, from the abstract art on the wall to the bottles that each tell a special story to the many individuals over the years.

Amazing venue, would recommend to everyone
We hosted our wedding celebration at Bacchus and we couldn't be happier! Everything went so smooth and flawlessly just as we'd imagined. Meryl, our coordinator, worked with us to make the day come alive. She was there to answer all our questions and help suggest solutions to everything we could think of - seating, menu options, flowers, and the entire order of events, where we should host the dance, the cocktail hour, the meal and where the DJ should play as well as the seating plan that works best. I should mention that we decided to go in for a brunch reception, which worked out perfectly on a sunny Saturday. Their have a beautifully sunlit outdoor area for days like this, but Meryl had gone over meticulous plans of how we could pivot to the indoor space last minute should it rain (which we didn't need to). They have the operations down to a science. Given that we started at 10.30 in the morning, most guests opted for their beautiful wine selections. However, the cocktails they offered were splendid too - my favorite being the coco colada. One thing to note is that they offer drinks with alcohol upto 20% instead of the usual, but you'd be surprised how well they turn out and how tipsy you can get on them. But if you're a wine connoisseur, I recommend that route as they clearly know their wines. The food was everything we wanted. Many guests told us afterwards how much they enjoyed the hors d'ouvres, and I especially loved the salmon and desserts. The creme brulee is to die for. Th decorations at Bacchus are stunning, and took one major headache off our hands. The courtyard tree has cute lanterns dangling from them and lends the space a magical air. Adding a touch of florals makes the space come alive. Bacchus offers complementary budvases on each table too. If you're more of a minimalist, honestly, even that is enough considering how naturally elegant the space is. Operationally, we were in great hands. We wanted games, toasts and dancing for the event. Meryl helped explain to us how the multiple spaces could be used for each, the layout and movement of furniture necessary for what we wanted (the helpful staff made that happen), and how everything would change if it rained. As a bonus, they already have most the equipment you'd need - speaker system, miles and even misc items like wedding sign holder/easel etc. One last thing to mention - Bacchus has a number of spaces - you can book any count from 2 to 5 depending on your guest count and their prices change accordingly. We found this place a great value for what they offer. My wife and I highly recommend Bacchus to anyone looking for their perfect wedding venue. My wife can't stop talking about the place to anyone who will listen, and I thought I'd do my part by writing my honest thoughts in this review.

Love Bacchus enough to write this review TWICE because the Knot didn’t save my first draft!!! 10000/10 would reccomend! From the service provided (shout out to Meryl and Kaz), to the food (they’re a restaurant after all), to the overall vibes (cute sunny day and cute nights at night in a garden themed place THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU! We got married 8/29/25 and from the first inquiry Meryl and staff were so responsive with our questions. We had a wedding planner of our own that was hired before deciding on Bacchus when we wanted something bigger but honestly we could have probably handled our wedding with just Meryl assisting alone. She’s got tons of experience from all the weddings Bacchus has handled over the years and it shows! You also can’t beat the recommendations she’s provided on what she’s seen work first-hand. Price point — we looked at a few restaurants in the area to cut costs on table/linen/cutlery rentals and honestly you can’t beat the price we got. Our wedding planner was SHOOK at what a good deal we got and made it a point to say she’s shocked at the level of service they gave for how much we paid. Most of the places nearby were charging maybe equivalent prices for family style pastas vs Bacchus offering a full plated dinner. Just FYI their all-inclusive drinks are only for wine/beer. My husband and I aren’t big drinkers and at the time we were allowed to bring in our on alcohol which Bacchus was happy to help mix for us. This kept our cost of alcohol down and also helped us curated a more personalized drink list (win-win!) Food 1000/10. We actually have been to Bacchus quite a few times even before to check out the vibes and food never disappoints. I’ve been to Paris before (and idk what it is but I think it’s better than the places I’ve had there LOL). Whether you decide to have your wedding here or not you deffinitely have to drop by for a bite! Their steaks (especially their Iberica steak), salads, and bread and butter all DELICIOUS. Wedding food isn’t always good but where Bacchus shines is that they’re a well-run established restaurant so they’re able to handle the volume without compromising the quality or how YUMMY the food is. Multiple people told us it was the best wedding food they’ve had before. Accomodations — they’re open for brunch on weekends but we had a Friday wedding and they were able to accommodate us to get ready at the restaurant. Meryl also let us borrow their projector for a little fun Kahoot game during cocktail hour! Like I said above they also mixed our drinks and provided general mixers. We’re Asian and wanted a Yakult Soju drink that they were able to mix with ease and it was a hit! Some previous couples also must have left behind the the lanterns/linens but they put them up for us and also (without us asking) also put in some small candle votives which looked so good at night. Vibe check/Space — 100/10 everyone was so nice and professional. Everyone loved the ceremony with the bubbles (high key love the way it turned out in the garden). The night with the lights (chefs kiss). I will admit there was a little bit hiccup with my family drama but Meryl/staff handled it so professionally, super grateful! We had about 108 guests — maybe a little tight for the ceremony but our DJ took up a lot of space). We all fit in both gardens with room to spare! They were very accomodating with last minute addons too! We were able to also fit in a photo booth! Overall — LOVE! You won’t regret it!

Had the wedding of my dreams at Bacchus! Everyone was absolutely incredible with both their service and attention to detail. We had a big group of about 100 guests but everyone had nothing but amazing things to say about the food. Both us and all of our guests couldn’t be more grateful for such a special night! Can’t wait to return in the future for dinner :)

Our Wedding at Bacchus
Our wedding at Bacchus was everything we could’ve hoped for and more. Meryl and the entire team were extremely helpful and made us feel so comfortable, which allowed us to actually enjoy our wedding instead of worrying about the timeline. If you’re considering having your celebration here, please save yourself the worry and just allow Bacchus to deliver the wedding of your dreams. It was an unforgettable experience.

Winter wedding at Bacchus
I held my wedding at Bacchus in March, and I can't overstate how wonderful it was. Meryl, François, Khaza, and everyone else on staff made us feel truly welcome and cared for, from our first contact with them all the way up to the morning after, when they generously helped us load our leftover supplies into our car and hugged us goodbye. The food is superb, the ambience is romantic, and they were on top of every detail. They charge a very fair price and overdeliver in every respect. This is a special place with a fabulous team. (It's also a great place for just a meal!) Merci, Bacchus!!
