Amazing Wedding Cake

After doing some research and narrowing down my choices to 3 bakers for my wedding cake we chose Chef Nick based on our blind taste test against 1 other baker. Although he was a little more expensive I have zero regrets in the decision we made. Our cake was a huge hit, beautiful in design and absolutely delicious. We went with a strawberry champagne cake w cream cheese buttercream frosting which Chef Nick adjusted for us to minimize the cream cheese taste, he found the perfect balance. The cake itself was so moist yet delicate in flavor. Chef Nick was great to work with and helped with the design after going back and forth on several ideas. We fortunately had an entire top tier left over and are still enjoying it 2 weeks after the wedding. I highly recommend going with him - for your cake - you will NOT be disappointed.

Nicholas was wonderful to work with. He created a stunning 3 tiered cake design for our small, modern gothic wedding. He also made thin mint cookies that were individually wrapped! Both desserts were delicious and neither lasted long at our reception. All was reasonable priced as well. We’re so happy we chose CAKESBYNICKG for our day.

Nick created the most beautiful cakes for both my bridal shower and my wedding. All of my guests were commenting about how beautiful, unique and delicious my cakes were. I am so happy with Nick’s services and would highly recommend him!

Delivering price varies depending on location. Delivery can often times be the most challenging part of the process. Within the boroughs of NYC the price can be up to $50+ and outside of the boroughs can be up to $100+. Please include the location of your event on the order form to get a delivery estimate with your request.

Due to our limited space we are not able to take small orders that are for 5 or 10 people. Our minimum serving size for all wedding cakes are 50 servings. Favors- custom cupcakes, cake pops, and cakesicles are a minimum of 12 servings. When filling out a request, please keep this in mind when entering the serving amount. We will price your order starting with our minimum serving sizes.

Part of the ordering process is working with you to create the vision you have for your order. Generally, all wedding cakes stand on a white cake drum. Let us know if you are interested in something more unique or if you are seeking advice. Together we will come up with something you might not of even thought of. We’re here to inspire and make your vision come to life.

Sometimes it can be tricky to figure out what size wedding cake you will need. One of the most important questions we will ask you is how many servings you'd like for your guests. Sometime there are other desserts served and there are plenty of people who attend a wedding who never take a slice of cake. You can usually get away with ordering enough cake for 85 to 90 percent of guests.

We recommend that wedding cake orders are placed as soon as your date is settled. We do book up months, even weeks in advance but have been known to turn out orders within a week of the event date. The earlier you inquire the higher the chance you have of availability. Every cake requires time to create each element of the design and we specialize in quality over quantity.
