    Beautiful Ketubah

Aliza added calligraphy to my grandmother’s art print to create our Ketubah. She did such a great job - we met with her to discuss a number of prints and she shared feedback for what would work and helped us realize our vision. She made it very easy to customize the Ketubah text (we mixed and matched from a few options she provided). The Ketubah is beautiful and we will cherish it forever. Highly recommend!!

Sam, Thank you for entrusting me to add hand-calligraphed ketubah text to your grandmother's gorgeous print and being such a pleasure to work with. I loved getting the chance to meet you and Helen in person in my studio and make choices together about how best to integrate the text and artwork. I'm thrilled your vision came to fruition and I'm honored to have been a part. Wishing you all the best, with much gratitude!

Absolutely! I can handwrite your ketubah, wedding vows, or any text you provide in any language. I also have a number of texts available for couples of all different backgrounds that you can borrow from or use for inspiration.
Not at all. While a ketubah--a wedding contract--comes from the Jewish tradition, Ketubah Graphia celebrates and commemorates the meaningful vows exchanged or special words read at your wedding by creating bespoke calligraphic and handmade works of art centered on those sentiments.
The best place to start is by contacting Aliza! She'll walk you through the process step-by-step and answer any questions you have! Central to the process and your work of art will be the text you choose to be hand-calligraphed. There are several options available through the Ketubah Graphia website, you can write your own in any language, or a combination of the two. It can be helpful to check in with your officiant about any specific religious requirements and to confirm such things as Hebrew names and dates. We will then discuss ink colors, text layout, paper size, orientation, border design options, and any additional design elements.
Originally a Jewish marriage contract outlining the groom's obligations to protect the bride, the ketubah has evolved into a symbolic document embraced by couples of all backgrounds. Modern ketubahs feature personalized texts and designs, signed and displayed at the wedding, then framed as a lasting reminder of the couple’s love and commitment.
Yes! Ketubah Graphia ships anywhere in the world! All work is shipped flat (unless otherwise requested and only if the materials used for your specific design can be rolled).
