My primary job is in children's illustration but I also love love. I started live guest painting for friends' weddings and found it a joy. I genuinely enjoy getting to chat with the guests and celebrating their own love stories.

My live guest paintings aim to be adorable and cutesy. They make your guests feel like a character in a children's book. I've received feedback from previous clients that their guests cherished their paintings and have even requested to use their paintings as holiday cards or wedding announcements of their own.

The Works

Description

Make sure all of your guests get the cute painting of their dreams. Any portraits not finished during the reception will be completed at home and mailed to the wedding couple. All paintings are created with acrylic gouache and mixed media on 5 x 7 archival acid free paper. Each painting wrapped in a protective sleeve.

    Best Wedding Addition!

    We had Ally do small portraits in her style at our wedding and the line was sooo long! Everyone LOVED it and anytime we visit someone’s home, we always see their portrait framed from the event. By far the best addition to our wedding and a fun wedding favor from the event for everyone. 3

    Best. Addition. Ever.

    My guests absolutely loved having Ally at our wedding. They loved being able to watch her work and compare the portraits that they each got. They loved getting to chat with her while she worked. And more than anything they loved getting to take home a personalized favor that they could keep forever. I cannot recommend having Ally as a live painter at your wedding enough. It was simply the perfect addition to the day.

It takes about 5–6 minutes for a solo portrait, 10–12 minutes for a pair. This means either 10 solo portraits or 6 couples an hour.
Two's the general rule, but I'll happily make an exception for families with children.
Absolutely! I’ll go wherever the party is. Travel over 2 hours will incur additional fees.
Yes! I'll bring everything I need to complete the paintings. However, you must provide a table and chair.
I paint with Holbein acrylic gouache and add details using Prisma colored pencils and Caran d'Ache Neocolors.
