    Don't think twice if you're considering it!

    We hired Handheld Studio for our SF City Hall wedding and it was one of the best decisions we made. The team was kind and direct with us throughout the whole process, making everything feel easy and stress-free. What they created was pure magic - a home video that felt so personal and creative.     LOVE Handheld Studios

    Handheld Studios is amazing! I highly recommend getting a camcorder for your next special event. I used Handheld Studios for my wedding weekend. We had a welcome party in addition to our wedding day. The camcorder was passed around all weekend and was such a hit with our guests. Molly & Saba were excellent to work with, and everything was so smooth. I cannot wait to see the video they put together for us!!

    Turned our wedding into the cutest home movie ever

    Handheld Studio sent us a camcorder ahead of our wedding at the Flagstaff House in Boulder, and it might be my favorite decision we made for the day. We just handed it off to whoever wanted to film like my brothers, my new sisters-in-law, friends at the reception and let everyone capture things their own way instead of one formal videographer directing the shots. Sending it back and waiting to see what they put together was so exciting, like waiting for disposable camera photos to develop. What came back felt so much more us than a traditional wedding video with the grainy, candid, funny commentary from guests and random in-between moments no photographer would ever think to capture. It feels like a time capsule, not a highlight reel. Such a fun, low-key way to get footage that actually feels like your wedding day instead of a polished production. Can't recommend this enough if you want something nostalgic and real over perfectly produced.

    The PERFECT home video

    Handheld Studio was exactly what we wanted and more for our wedding day! We wanted a wedding video that felt like a 90s home movie, and our expectations were blown away! Not only are they fast (2 week turn around!) and include all the raw footage so we didn't miss a thing, but they also created an edited highlights video that feels like a romcom! We love our videos and are so impressed.

    I used this company for two events recently and they were so easy to work with and created incredible final results. This isn't your average wedding vendor. Reserve your Camcorder online and it arrives ready to record with everything you need! You film your celebration, then pack it back in the box and return it using the prepaid UPS label. Once we receive your camcorder, we download the footage, create your highlight video and share all of your raw footage to keep! It is an easy process designed to help you capture your day with personality and zero stress.
Simply choose your date and reserve your camcorder on our website. Your rental includes everything you need, plus a quick guide to get started! We recommend booking 4-6 weeks in advance to confirm your date.
Yes! Each camcorder arrives ready to record. Just turn it on, press play and start capturing your celebration. No setup or special tech skills needed :)
You will receive the Camcorder, charger, extra battery, protective foam, a prepaid return label and a simple how to guide.
Within two weeks of us receiving the camera back, you will receive an email with a download link to access your complete raw footage (minus accidental recordings, blank space, unintentional camera movements, etc) and professionally edited recap.
Yes! The Camcorders capture both video and audio.
Your rental fee covers minor wear and tear. If the camera is lost, severely damaged, or stolen, you'll be responsible for the additional fee. A refundable security deposit is collected at checkout and returned once everything is received in good condition. See our Rental Agreement and Terms & Service for more details.
Our cameras come with a 32GB memory card, allowing you to record over 12 hours of video. That's plenty of space to capture every candid moment of your event. A standard camera rental period is for one event day.
