Willow Floral Studios

5.0

Ithaca, NY
  • Starts at $2,500

Willow Floral Studios creates unique, modern arrangements for weddings and events in the Finger Lakes Region and beyond. From elopements to large installations, we treat each client with the same care. Our focus is bringing your vision to reality.

David and his team did an absolutely incredible job creating the most beautiful, fresh, and vibrant bouquets and centerpieces for my October wedding - and I am so thankful! David was so gracious and easy to work with; I came to him with such a late request for these centerpieces and bouquets and he made it happen in just a couple of months' time. We had one great, efficient call and, after that, I didn't have to worry about a thing. The team at Willow Floral used such high-quality plants, my sunflower and greenery centerpieces lasted almost 3 full weeks after the wedding. My greenery bouquet of ferns and eucalyptus is still beautiful and I will be drying it out to preserve it forever! If you're looking for a great deal on amazing flowers/plants and easy, kind, and accommodating service to match, I cannot recommend Willow Floral Studios more. Thank you again to the whole team!

Anchored Wishes Gifts
Elmira, NY
  • Starts at $300

These wood flowers come from the root of the tapioca plant and balsa wood tree bark. The wood is then shaved and crafted to look like flowers. They are then dyed and arranged. Wood flowers are eco friendly and never wilt, they can even be scented. Wood flowers are slightly less expensive than fresh flowers but they should be looked at as an investment. They are a great option for when out of season florals are not available and are everlasting. My services include wood florals and signage for weddings/events and home decor along with event design and day of setup.

Flower Moxie – Do-It-Yourself Wedding Flowers

5.0

Oklahoma City, OK
  • Serves Dryden, NY

In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Please remember that its DIY flowers, your only buying bulk!!! Our wedding colours were navy and hot pink; we ordered dusty blue and cream "A la Cart" package and added White Ranunculus and Dark pink spray roses. We built: 5 bouts, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 bridal bouquet and a flower crown. I still had a large bouquet left over and the pieces that fell off we used to shoot the close up details picture of the invites, rings, dress etc. we had to buy our own materials and we assembled them ourself but I was blown away with how easy it was, their customer service and the quality of products we received. We were a destination wedding coming from Canada to Las Vegas which made me worried but it was the easiest process and best decision we made!

I am so thankful that I used Wood & Word Blooms for my wedding flowers. Jen was so patient and kind while I obsessed over what colors to have for my flowers since my main color was sage and that isn't ideal for florals (In my opinon). From the moment I started planning my wedding I knew I wanted something that was not real because I have a lot of allergies and I wanted to be able to keep it forever. When I came across Wood & Word Blooms, I first did a class. Once I did that, I knew this was the perfect place for my wedding florals. I am so grateful that I can still have my bouquet and other florals weeks to years after my wedding. Every time I see them hanging I smile because it reminds me of my special day.

Believe it or not, we often have people ask if our pictures throughout our website are showing a mix of fresh and faux and…no they aren’t! Although fresh florals are pretty, we are totally in love with poser-blooms all the way here and that’s what we design 100% of our orders with.

Alison with Bloom Culture really puts SO much work into making the DIY process as easy as possible! Her YouTube videos and DIY proposal guides are extremely detailed, and it was honestly a blast to put together my own florals for my wedding. I got a group of friends together and we all built the bouquets/boutonnieres/etc two days before the wedding, and it was so much fun! I love Earthgirl Flowers. I fell in love with Jills' work from her website. Gorgeous flowers with elements of design and intrigue and creativity. Had a couple of conversations with Jill who was very laid back and listened to my vision for what I wanted or hoped for. Our wedding was full of unknowns due to covid and on top of that the day before our wedding horrible weather was predicted for our outside wedding. Jill was patient and extremely flexible when my fiance and I completely changed the whole wedding plan and layout the day before our nuptials!!! We CHANGED EVERYTHING including having the wedding dinner inside of our venue, working with a smaller tent for the ceremony, and an even smaller guest list due to covid. As a bride, I was completely stressed out, but I never had to worry about the flowers. Jill stepped up. Completely just went with the flow and still blew our minds. What is so unique about Jill is she is creative and fun, but most of all generous. I only mentioned my vision as "moody British feels mixed with an Alice and Wonderland" and she got it. Nailed it. The flowers themselves were glorious as Jill likes to use different textures to make her arrangements pop. Her prices are more than reasonable as you get 1. gorgeous unique arrangements 2. awesome responsive service. She used materials from her warehouse and even stuffed two gorgeous chandeliers with flowers which blew our guest's minds. My guests could not stop complimenting the flowers at our wedding. Hell, I had to convince people to give me some flowers post-wedding because they all wanted to take them home. She is a vendor, but through working with Jill she has become a good friend. I am actually hoping she can do more flowers for me in the future.

Omg where do I even begin??! Nicole is a master of her craft. I reached out in December 2022 for my May 5, 2024 wedding and I knew after our first phone call that she was the one I wanted designing my flowers and centerpieces. We instantly clicked and she knew exactly what I was envisioning and how to get us there. All throughout the process she kept me involved and was constantly making sure it’s what I wanted. Even though I knew what colors she was going with I was still left absolutely speechless when my bouquets were delivered to my hotel room the morning of. And when I walked into the venue and saw the centerpieces I was in awe. Like she blew it out of the water. Nicole is one of the most kind hearted, beautiful people I’ve met throughout my whole wedding planning process and even in my life and I’m beyond grateful for her. Thank you Nicole for making our wedding so special and memorable!!
