In 2013, 8-year wedding veteran Amy McCord Jones realizes she wouldn't be able to afford to hire her own floral services if she was a bride. Then, Amy discovers that there is basically zero help available for DIY brides. No flower recipes. No instructions. No access to florist-grade blooms. Rude. So she launches Flower Moxie! Flower Moxie remains a humble, tucked-away small business out of Oklahoma City. We don’t zoom around on scooters in some fancy high-rise. We stock an average kitchen with canned wine and Aldi chips and listen to true crime podcasts while photographing curvy ranunculus. Join us. There’s cake, hugs, and acceptance here.

Step two, you recruit your floral A-team. Stock up on wine and get ready to faint as you unbox floral nirvana. Your flowers arrive 3 days in advance. Day 1, you prep. Days 2-3, you design.     So I ordered specific flowers that I wanted to match your theme for our wedding and the website was pretty easy to navigate and they have estimates on how much of each you would need which was nice. They came in 3 days before my wedding day and I immediately unboxed them and had buckets of water for them ready. The night before I started making corsages and boutonnières and morning of my bridesmaids helped make all the bouquets. It was a bigger job than I originally thought and glad I had help so I would say maybe have at least 2 other people willing to help ad maybe practice run with supermarket flowers beforehand to help ease the anxiety.

    I so enjoyed doing my own flowers for my wedding. Flower Moxie made it so easy and affordable, especially as they shipped to a warehouse in my town. Working with Sue and the team made me feel comfortable with the process, especially as my timeline required me to get the flowers earlier than ideal. They turned out PERFECT!!

    Please remember that its DIY flowers, your only buying bulk!!! Our wedding colours were navy and hot pink; we ordered dusty blue and cream "A la Cart" package and added White Ranunculus and Dark pink spray roses. We built: 5 bouts, 4 bridesmaids bouquets, 1 bridal bouquet and a flower crown. I still had a large bouquet left over and the pieces that fell off we used to shoot the close up details picture of the invites, rings, dress etc. we had to buy our own materials and we assembled them ourself but I was blown away with how easy it was, their customer service and the quality of products we received. We were a destination wedding coming from Canada to Las Vegas which made me worried but it was the easiest process and best decision we made!

    I was a little concerned about doing my own flowers as I am not artistic or good at that kind of thing, but Flower Moxie made the entire process so easy!! I did a customized order so I was able to work with a professional florist to get exactly what I wanted. They were extremely helpful from picking out the flowers, to how to build them, to timelines, and everything else you needed. I 100% recommend these services! I saved so much money and had such a fun time doing it!!!
