Hi there! I’m Karina, an architect turned floral designer dabbling in all things daisies and more! My enthusiasm for floristry began in Brooklyn as a way to express my love for nature and design, but mostly so I could bring color, life, and beauty into my apartment on, you guessed it, Dean Street! Now, Dean Street Daisies has blossomed into a full-service floral and event design studio along the Hudson River where we design with form, texture, and palette in mind, creating florals that feel intentional, dynamic, and unmistakably memorable. As a certified event designer from Flower School New York, and architect trained in composition, color, and project execution, Karina’s design style and expertise has been carefully cultivated and inspired by many industries. Sustainability is thoughtfully integrated into our work through seasonal, locally sourced flowers, reusable vessels, and foam-free design practices. Our process is collaborative and deeply personalized, ensuring every wedding feels layered, expressive, and entirely its own.

    Absolute floral perfection

    Karina and her team absolutely exceeded every expectation we had for our wedding! Stunning is an understatement. We had a gorgeous flower ground arch that managed to withstand an insane downpour, proving not only their beauty but their incredible quality and construction. Throughout the entire planning process, Karina was extremely communicative. She was always willing to work with us, happily accommodating any questions or tweaks we asked for. She provided an above-and-beyond experience from start to finish, and we couldn't be more grateful for how she helped make our wedding day so perfect

    Beyond our wildest dreams

    From the beginning, Karina was so wonderful to work with! She was incredibly kind, helpful, collaborative, and excited to work with us to make our floral dreams come true within our budget. She and her team are absolute artists and created the most stunning chuppah display, bouquets, and table vases that transformed the space into a vibrant meadow and reflected our energy and the vibe we hoped to create for our wedding ceremony and reception. We had some general ideas about what we wanted that she managed to stitch into a cohesive vision way beyond our expectations -- it was perfect! Nearly every guest commented on our flowers, noting they were the most beautiful, interesting, colorful, architectural, and unique wedding florals they had ever seen. We felt the same!     Miracle Worker

    Karina was incredible. She had the very difficult task of doing our florals in the middle of winter right after a snow storm. She managed to make it work and make it more beautiful than we imagined. She also built a custom chuppah for us to match the wood tones of our venue. 10/10 would recommend.

    The BEST florals

    Dean Street Daisies was a dream to work with for our wedding florals. From the start, Karina was straightforward and considerate in their communication, ensuring we were on the same page every step of the way. The quality of their work was truly exceptional - the beautiful, creative arrangements they put together for our wedding ceremony and reception looked like something out of a magazine. The chuppah and all the fall-inspired florals they set up were simply stunning, exceeding our expectations and leaving our guests in awe. We found Karina through a Reddit recommendation and her pricing was very reasonable compared to other florists we had looked into. We're so grateful to the Dean Street Daisies team for helping make our special day look and feel exactly as we had envisioned. Highly recommend them to any couple planning their wedding!

We offer delivery, setup, and breakdown services included in your event package within a 30-mile radius of New York City Metro Area. Zip codes outside this zone may be subject to additional travel and delivery fees. Since many weddings require a professional set up, we also charge a separate fee labor & design for event installation.
We have a $3,500 minimum for custom floral pieces. Each client receives a fully customized floral design package curated to their vision and will also participate in a final design presentation comprised of sketches as needed, additional imagery, and confirmed deliverable counts 4 weeks before their wedding date.
Initial consultations last approximately 30 minutes but can take up to 1-2 hours for larger events. Please come prepared with details about your event like your budget and style, guest count, and approximate day of schedule, as well as any inspiration you have for your florals. This can include images of your venue, your color palette, photos from social media, and more. The more information and ideas you provide, the better we can assist you. After your consultation, we will draw up a proposal with prices per item and email it to you along with select inspiration images.
Yes, we offer breakdown services along with delivery, set up, and flower transfer from the ceremony to the reception if needed.
It’s never too early to get in touch about your wedding, but we recommend having a few details figured out before you do. For example: Have you selected the location for your ceremony and/or reception? What’s your wedding style? Do you know how many guests you’ll be expecting? Typically, our couples reach out around 6 to 8 months before their big day.
Yes! After the contract is signed, we provide design sketches or renderings as needed to communicate design intent for specific areas of your event. We can also provide a mockup for an additional cost, typically a table centerpiece. We prefer to create this between 30 and 60 days before the wedding to take into account seasonal flowers and time to make adjustments before the final proposal and vendor commitments are due.
During your consultation, we will go over all the gorgeous in-season floral offerings available for your wedding date. We love supporting local growers and regional flowers and greenery!
Yes! We offer a variety of rentals for an additional cost from glass hurricanes for candles, candles & votives, miscellaneous decor, pedestals, flower towers, and more. We can also provide food styling with items like fruits and vegetables. Get in touch to see our full list.
Sorry, we do not offer flower preservation. However, we’re happy to recommend a few local vendors who provide this service and provide a vase of water to keep your bouquet fresh throughout the event.
