Hi there! I’m Karina, an architect turned floral designer dabbling in all things daisies and more! My enthusiasm for floristry began in Brooklyn as a way to express my love for nature and design, but mostly so I could bring color, life, and beauty into my apartment on, you guessed it, Dean Street! Now, Dean Street Daisies has blossomed into a full-service floral and event design studio on the Hudson River in Irvington, NY where I live and create in a converted chapel with my husband and two cats!

Whether they are cradled in your hands on your wedding day, adding a touch of personality to your business, or adorning the custom tablescape for your private dinner party, flowers express love, friendship, individuality, your unique brand, and so much more. As a certified event designer from Flower School New York, and architect trained in composition, color, and execution, my design style and expertise has been carefully cultivated and inspired by many industries.

    Where to even begin? Dean Street Daisies completely brought our wedding to life. From the subtle details to the breathtaking pieces at our ceremony site, the flowers were everything we could have hoped for and more. When we first started planning our wedding, florals were honestly the part we felt most unsure about. We had seen so many ideas on Pinterest, but none of them felt quite right or like “us.” It wasn’t until we spoke with Karina that the vision for our day really began to take shape. She was kind, curious, and took the time to truly understand our vision and what mattered most to us. Even when we didn’t fully know what we wanted, she asked thoughtful questions and helped us build a plan that felt completely aligned with who we are. We had this fuzzy idea of something eclectic, forest-inspired, colorful, and warm, and Karina helped bring it into focus. She made the process not only easy but genuinely fun and exciting. We looked forward to every call with her. And on our wedding day, we were completely blown away. The flowers were stunning, vibrant, textured, joyful, and grounding all at once. They tied everything together and created a setting that felt truly magical. On top of her artistry, Karina is one of the most organized and communicative people we worked with throughout our planning process. She was always timely, clear, and thoughtful in every interaction. All of our other vendors commented on how amazing she was to work with. She was professional, calm, prepared, and just so easy to collaborate with. And honestly, she is such a fun, uplifting presence. That made a huge difference and helped everything run smoothly. If you are lucky enough to work with Karina and Dean Street Daisies, take it.     Karina helped me turn my wedding Pinterest board to life! I shared floral ideas and Inspo I had saved and she was able to make my wedding day beautiful- all while staying within budget! We were able to make a plan and design together, based on my wants and budget to get the best possible solution. The ceremony design was breathtaking, and the team worked with me to reuse some of the ceremony florals for the reception. They made that transition so fast, I barely noticed it happening. The centerpieces were amazing, and I loved the special touch they gave curating unique bud vases and antique bowls for the tables. I was speechless when she did the grand reveal of my bouquet. It was so beautiful and absolutely perfect. Karina helped me find a preservation studio, and I’m so eager to get it back to admire it.

    Working with Karina was such a breeze. We contacted her for a bouquet and boutonnière for our elopement and from the beginning it was easy and we trusted her to take care of everything. We sent inspiration photos and she easily put together a beautiful arrangement for us. The best part was that she took care of the coordination with our hotel to make sure the flowers arrived on time for us to be worry free on our elopement day. I would absolutely recommend her and expect very unique beautiful flowers!
