    DJ Mike Napoli

    We cannot thank DJ Mike Napoli enough, he was such a big part of our special day! Mike is very easy to talk to and work with. He brings such a friendly positive energy to the table. He kept great communication with us throughout our whole wedding planning process. The app he provided us with made everything so easy! It covered all the music we needed from start to end. We were able to customize and add specific notes to the time line as well. It’s truly a dream for any type A Bride. Besides providing the music, we also chose to use Mikes photobooth service. Our guest were able to take prints home and leave a print in our guest book. It was so nice to be able to look at all the photos and messages that were left by our guests. Within a few days after our wedding Mike also provided us the links to all the photobooth photos. We were unsure about lighting but with Mikes guidance he knew exactly what we needed based on our music choices. We are so grateful for his expertise because it turned out absolutely amazing. Not to mention he came early to set up and ran the whole thing on his own without missing a beat. Truly a 10/10 experience for us. We highly recommend Mike! P.S Our only word of advice…This didn’t affect us in the moment but we did get a lot of feedback from our guests that since we did not have mics our guest could not hear our vows clearly during our ceremony. This is something to consider discussing with Mike if you plan to have him.

    Kate and Joe wedding!

    Mike was a fantastic DJ and everyone at our wedding had an absolute blast. Our biggest goal was to have everyone on the dance floor the entire night and that held true from beginning to end. Our crowd was very high energy so seeing him not only keep up with that but select the best songs for those moments was our favorite. He even let us get behind the DJ booth and use the mic! I think my only regret is not purchasing the cloud floor for first dance or air puff guns for the end. The party energy was so fun I wish I leaned into this more instead of other things we spent money on. Book Mike for your next event!! You will have the time of your life.

    BEST. DJ. EVER.

    Stop reading reviews for other music vendors and book SoundFormula for your wedding NOW!!! DJ Mike was always readily available to discuss any questions and the app made planning a breeze. His adaptability and charisma (always smiling!) at our wedding made us feel calm even when our reception timeline was running late. We couldn't decide between a live band and DJ, so the addition of Ryan the saxophone player also made for the perfect musical fusion. Mike's greatest strength is his ability to read the room. The dance floor was full the entire night! We even had older family members dancing for the first time in public. They felt so comfortable on the dance floor which was very special to us. We received many compliments throughout the night from our guests that they loved the DJ and saxophone player. Sound Formula took the stress away from wedding planning. They were one of the easiest and best vendors to work with. Do not hesitate to book them for your wedding or next special event!

    Amazing Wedding Day Music, Easy to Work With

    We hired DJ Mike Napoli / Sound Formula Entertainment for our September 2025 wedding. Top line: Mike had our dance floor rocking and was great at reading the crowd. We got many comments throughout the evening on how awesome the DJ was, which is always great to hear! You can tell the way that he has a good time is by making sure everyone else is having a great time. He was super professional yet easy going throughout the entire process, always willing to chat on the phone or via text/email. He comes off as honest, genuine, and ready to work with you on whatever your budget & needs are. Would definitely recommend, or even hire him again! From our first phone call, Mike was kind, patient, and thorough. He walked us through the timeline of how we would work together in the year between hiring him and the wedding, asked insightful questions to get an idea of how to best match our vision, and offered lots of additional services (lighting, photobooth, video services etc) without ever being pushy. I am a TV producer and former gigging musician, and if Mike was at all annoyed by my extremely high level of detail on questions about everything from timeline to technical specs, he did not let on! He was a great partner in planning our big day, perhaps for the same reason he was so great in the booth at our reception - he is a great listener who makes great suggestions. I made a bunch of playlist for each part of the night (cocktail hour, dinner, dancing etc) to give him inspiration, and he blended our choices beautifully with other tracks he knew would build on our vibe. I am confident that he could have managed to make everything sound perfect even without so much input from me, but I was “doing the most,” as they say! Some DJs would have just pressed play on my playlist, others would have disregarded it completely - Mike did neither - he took our choices and elevated them. People were constantly saying how they loved that there was something for everyone, but all the music felt like “us.” Mike even did a custom remix, blending the acoustic and full band version of a song for us, and sent it for our approval before the wedding. It was perfect :) The lighting package Mike hooked us up with was truly dope, and it really kicked things up a notch. Definitely check out the other SoundFormula services if you are booking him for music. Thanks so much Mike!!

    Wholeheartedly Recommend

    My wife and I used SoundFormula for our Long Island wedding in September, and we are extremely happy with our entire experience. DJ Mike Napoli started us off with our planning and preparing for the wedding, and he coordinated with DJ Anthony Gelo who finalized our plans and was our DJ for the event. Both gentlemen were organized and efficient with their planning, and had all the details ready well before the wedding. DJ Anthony did an amazing job of blending various genres over the course of the night, mixing current hits, wedding classics, pop punk songs, and disco hits (for the parents). We'd give them an 11/10, we would absolutely recommend these guys for whatever event you are hosting.

I do offer various lighting options and various Photo Booth Options. Our lighting options include Uplighting, Pixel Tubes, Intelligent Lighting, Starry Night, Wash Lighting and Custom Monograms. I also offer Co2 Cannons and Cold Spark Fountains. We have 3 different types of Photobooths -Social Booth -Roaming Photobooth -360 Photobooth
I always arrive ATLEAST 3 hours before my contracted start time to ensure that everything looks and sounds AMAZING!
I provide a fun, modern, upbeat wedding experience that is custom curated around my couples specific likes and dislikes. I don't believe in cookie cutter playlists. I love to mix and seemlessly transition from one song into the next. A lot of my couples also really enjoy LIVE mashups. But most importantly, I take your guests into consideration and make sure that i'm playing to the crowd thats in front of me in order to keep your dance floor PACKED!
Absolutely! I am fully insured up to $2million Dollars of General Liability Insurance. This is a requirement at MOST venues!
