Western Massachusetts’ Unique and Sustainability focused Floral Design Studio

Rune & Rose Floral Designs is a sustainability focused design team with a unique and elevated style inspired by our connection to others, movement and nature. Rune & Rose Floral Designs prioritizes sustainability & community by sourcing blooms from local farmers during the New England growing season. This helps ensure fellow local farmers are being supported. Owners Emily and Dalton also work closely with a local family owned flower wholesaler to ensure their design choices are never limited.

All of their vessels are up-cycled, reused, purchased secondhand to limit waste or come from local artisans. Additionally all floral waste is composted and they never use unnecessary plastics, spray paint, toxic chemicals or floral foam in their studio.

I don’t even know where to begin because working with Emily at Rune & Rose was truly one of the best decisions I made for my wedding. She is not only unbelievably talented and creative, but also the kind of person you feel lucky to collaborate with. From our very first meeting, she completely understood my vision and cared deeply about bringing it to life, down to every last detail. The flowers were beyond anything I could have dreamed of, absolutely stunning, perfectly tailored to me, and one of my favorite parts of the entire day. Emily made the process seamless, fun, and stress-free. She communicated so clearly, offered thoughtful ideas, and made me feel supported and excited every step of the way. Her passion, artistry, and genuine care shine through in everything she does, and I cannot thank her and her team enough for creating such magic. Working with Emily as the florist for our wedding was absolutely amazing. She was so personable and really made our vision come to life. Emily took the time to really understand our vision, make a PowerPoint, and gather as much information about the florals we were envisioning for our big day. Emily created the most beautiful centerpieces, arch decor, aisle markers, bouquets, corsages, boutonnieres, and other arrangements for our wedding. She was always available to communicate with and beyond flexible with us when we wanted to add on additional florals. We cannot recommend Emily enough for anyone looking for a florist. Thank you Emily for being apart of our special day!

Our wedding flowers were more than I could have ever asked for. Emily was incredibly responsive and encouraging. She was able to merge the two visions that I had into the most perfect bouquets. Throughout the planning process she was communicative about what colors she should provide, the types of flowers I wanted and didn't want, and was accommodating when it came to my allergies. On our wedding day she went above and beyond to make sure that we were happy with our flowers and that they were properly placed. She even made she had an abundance of flowers in case something went wrong. I would hire Emily a million times over.

Emily was wonderful to work with and brought a relaxed approach that simplified the floral process. She followed our lead for more simple bud vase florals and designed greenery to sit at the bases of our chuppah that was stunning. Emily’s approach is relaxed, professional, and warm. She clearly is mindful of queer couples especially! When we needed extra hands, Emily made sure to tap in a team member and they delivered beautifully day of, without even a hiccup, despite not having been a part of any initial planning. This is a testament to Emily’s care and communication! Additionally, Emily’s prices felt very accessible and intentional. We appreciated this!
