I've been there! I was the bride without a wedding planner-- without someone to assist in making sure that the magic was happening so my now husband and I could enjoy such a beautiful milestone. We were entangled in the stress and overwhelm since weddings don't run themselves. After that experience, I knew I had a mission to fulfill--to make sure that no couple feels alone in organizing one of the most beautiful and equally stressful to design (without the right expert, of course!) events again! Why am I different? Because I know what needs to be done to ensure a seamless wedding, without adding any extra stress to clients!

Ani is a dream come true
Ani is, quite simply, the best wedding planner you could ever hope for—better than the planner you’d imagine in your wildest dreams. My husband and I hired Ani as a partial planner 5 months before our wedding after having already chosen our venue and a few initial vendors. From the moment she stepped in, she transformed the entire process. I have so many extraordinary things to say about Ani, not only about her talent as a planner but also about her warmth, her energy, and the kind of person she is, that it’s hard to know where to begin but here goes. I chose a partial planning package because I thought I was too Type A to let go of control, but it turns out that Ani is the Type A soulmate I didn’t know I needed. I suffer from major decision paralysis, and from the minute she joined the process, she brought clarity and structure. She sent me beautifully organized checklists, spreadsheets, and internal deadlines so nothing fell through the cracks. Her reminders were always gentle but effective—never overwhelming. Her organizational skills are truly unmatched. She also has deep industry connections and helped me secure all remaining vendors—each one a perfect fit. She showed up for everything: tastings, linen selections, floral samples; she stayed in constant communication with every vendor, tracked payment schedules for me, and made sure every detail was executed flawlessly. Ani is a fierce, tireless and unstoppable go-getter. She will bring your vision to life, and if you don’t yet know what your vision is, she will help you discover it. She has the answer to every question you can imagine, even to those you don’t even know to ask. Throughout the process, we felt like we were her only clients. Her responsiveness is almost superhuman. She always answered texts within minutes, often seconds. And always with an amazing attitude. She makes you feel taken care of in a way that is both comforting and confidence-boosting. But beyond all that, her personality is the true magic. Wedding planning can be stressful, and emotional, and finding someone you click with is essential. Ani is that person. She is sweet, funny, grounded, and so easy to be around. My family and bridal party are full of big personalities, and Ani navigated everyone with grace. She read the room and knew exactly what each person needed. Everyone loved her. We became friends and remain friends years later. You can be completely yourself with her. She will talk you off every ledge - wedding related or not. She is young, charming, vibrant, diligent, and radiates this incredible positive energy without being over the top. She is the exact person you want by your side on your wedding day. Her team is equally great, going above and beyond. For example, I unexpectedly got my period the morning of my wedding. Before I could even process the panic, someone from her team had sprinted out, bought tampons, and returned before I even knew she’d left. That’s the level of care you get with Ani. I would hire her again in every lifetime. My wedding was the happiest, most fun day of my life, and I owe so much of that to Ani. If you’re lucky enough to get a chance to work with her, do not hesitate. She is extraordinary.
Dream wedding planner
Ani was a fantastic wedding planner. She gave us the wedding we wanted in ways we wouldn’t have even imagined. Every step along the way, Ani was professional and thorough. The 18 months leading up to our wedding was insanely busy for us outside of wedding planning. Still, Ani always reduced our stress and made our wedding tasks manageable. My husband got to saying, “in Ani we trust.” We got so many compliments on every aspect of our wedding. Several friends said it was the best they’d been to in years. Ani made that happen for us. Hiring her was the best wedding decision we made.
Deeply Disappointed With Our Experience
We hired Ani for partial planning almost 10 months before our May 2025 wedding based on a strong referral. She was extremely responsive before our first payment, but communication dropped off immediately afterward. Looking back, the warning signs were there. By 8 months out she was already taking weeks to respond, and the lack of follow through only got worse. Attention to detail was nonexistent. During our monthly check ins she repeatedly asked the same basic questions, including whether we were doing a DJ or a band. She told us at 6 months out that she had secured a DJ retainer, but after 3 months of vague updates she admitted she had never contacted the vendor at all. We were then forced to find a last-minute option during a popular wedding weekend and ended up booking a DJ through a friend. Budget management was sloppy and unreliable. She went over budget and regularly missed large sums and outstanding invoices in the spreadsheet she maintained. I eventually had to track and manage every payment myself because her numbers could not be trusted. Communication was one of the worst parts of the process. She ignored emails for days/weeks at a time. When we were trying to print our invitations, she told us she had already sent everything to the printer. After hearing nothing for weeks, I contacted the vendor directly and learned she had never submitted anything. Our invitations went out late because of this. During that period she also blocked me from viewing her Instagram stories even though she was actively posting from events instead of responding to us. Vendor coordination and follow through were incredibly poor. She booked a shuttle vendor that failed to return to our venue on the wedding night, leaving guests stranded. She repeatedly canceled scheduled calls with me and my family. She also failed to follow through on small commitments, like promising she would stop by our tasting and then simply not showing up or acknowledging it. The wedding weekend reflected the same pattern of negligence. She insisted she should be the one to put my veil on and even asked my hairstylist how to secure it properly. Despite this, she never put the veil on me. I did not notice until it was too late and as a result I never got to wear my veil. The rehearsal she led the day before lasted about 5 minutes and was so vague and rushed that we had noticeable fumbles during the actual ceremony. By the final 3 months, I was effectively doing all of the planning myself. I had to re-check every catering order and review every detail because I no longer trusted her judgment. During this time I asked her multiple times if she genuinely felt capable of doing the job and explicitly gave her the option to step away if she could not meet the expectations of the contract. She repeatedly insisted she could handle it. At that point it felt like she stayed only to collect the rest of her fee. When we pressed for an explanation for her declining performance, she cited her divorce. While I sympathize with anyone navigating a difficult time, it didn't excuse the lack of professionalism, missed tasks, or the impact on our wedding. By then we had paid most of her fee and felt trapped by sunk costs. In the end, I handled the majority of the planning myself while still paying close to 15k for services that caused more stress than support. Our wedding was beautiful in spite of the planning, not because of it. Based on my experience, I do not recommend working with her at all.
Ani Ghosted Us 3 Months Before Our Wedding
Ani ghosted us in the final three months before our wedding, without any explanation. When we hired her in July 2024, we were incredibly excited. She seemed organized, creative, experienced, and genuinely friendly, exactly what we were looking for in a wedding planner. Unfortunately, our experience changed dramatically in the final stretch before our wedding. After paying our third installment in July 2025, communication with Ani completely stopped. Emails, texts, and calls went unanswered for weeks as our wedding date quickly approached. Monthly meetings were routinely canceled without explanation or rescheduling. At first, we tried to be understanding, life happens, and people get busy. But total silence from someone we trusted to be our guide through the planning process was deeply upsetting. It left us scrambling to fill critical gaps on our own and caused unnecessary stress during what should have been an exciting time. Out of desperation, our sister-in-law sent a fake inquiry to see if Ani was even still working. She responded almost immediately, and even followed up to set up an in-person meeting. It was heartbreaking to realize she was choosing to ignore us while continuing to take on new clients. Meanwhile, she continued to post actively on social media and attend events, yet never once reached out to us with a simple update or explanation. Even a brief note saying she could no longer continue would have been kinder than leaving us in limbo for nearly two months, during the most important stage of planning. Thankfully, we eventually brought on a new coordinator who completely saved our wedding, but we were left hurt and disappointed by the lack of accountability. To this day, we still don’t know why she stopped responding. We’re sharing this review not out of anger, but to help other couples make an informed decision. Weddings are time-sensitive and emotional — reliability and communication should be the foundation of your vendor team. No couple should have to experience this kind of stress or uncertainty so close to their wedding day. We also wish we had seen the previous, eerily similar review before booking, it seems this is part of a clear pattern. We would strongly encourage couples to consider other planners.
