This is a complete wedding day package where we guide you throughout the entire wedding planning process from conception to execution. We assist you in establishing a budget, finding an ideal venue, curating a list of vendors, designing theme concepts, and all the details in between. We are there to suggest and guide without taking away any of your enjoyment in planning the special day.

This is a package perfect for couples who have started planning on their own, but would like further assistance along the way. We step in half way through the wedding planning process and assist with remaining vendor curation and design details to ensure a well-thought out wedding day.

  • How to pick the perfect wedding planner

    Planning your son and future daughter-in-law's wedding is exciting and sometimes overwhelming. You want it to be perfect for the bride and the groom. You want the guests to have a wonderful time. To accomplish this without any mistakes, I hired a wedding planner. How to find the right planner can be stressful. You want someone who listens, is organized, has great resources, and is fun to work with. I thankfully found Michelle Tu, Somni Events, through the recommendation of our wedding venue, the Bel Air Bay Club, and she is all of those things. Michelle is everything you could want in a planner. She is not only organized, but she keeps you on track as well. I thought it would be tricky with the bride and groom in New York and the wedding in Los Angeles. But Michelle made it easy—Coast to Coast Zoom planning meetings and design meetings. She gave us great options for florists, videographers, photographers, hair and makeup artists, etc. Michelle uses a platform to make it easy to upload guest lists, keep track of those who are attending, create table seating with ease, and a timeline for us to make sure we have completed things such as when to get the marriage license and when to order the wedding invitations, as well as when each payment is due for each vendor. She also handles all the contracts for the vendors. On the day of the wedding, Michelle and her staff make sure the wedding ceremony and the event run smoothly. She allows the bride and groom and their families to enjoy the event without any worries about any of the details. I could not have had such a wonderful time at our son’s wedding, without Michelle. The bride and groom could not have been happier.

    if you are looking for a wedding planner, look no further. Michelle, Michelle, Michelle..... can't thank her enough for an amazing party we had two weeks ago. My daughter is not an easy person to please-(she's a spine surgeon-very tough lol) so picky n changes her minds very often... Michelle is very calm, professional, very well mannerEd and know what exactly she is doing. superb, outstanding, awesome... can go on :) during my speech at the reception, I gave her a shout out and told the "kids"- now all in their 30s, to hire her for their wedding if anyone is for one. she's that great. What a gem she truly is. Can't imagine how anyone can do a better job than she did. Wedding planning is hard. Very expensive and everyone gets be sensitive.. hire Michelle. You will thank me for that :)) THANK YOU, MICHELLE! You made our great wedding memories to an amazing ones!!!

    MICHELLE IS THE BEST!!! She made me feel so at ease on my wedding day, handled all the ups and downs and changing decisions like a pro, and just made me feel special in general. She knew everything to do and I felt safe in her hands. Plus she is just an amazing person!! Thank you Michelle we love you!!!

    Michelle made the whole wedding planning process so easy and our wedding turned out absolutely AMAZING. We really couldn't have imagined it without her. I think it's safe to say that her and the Somni Events team brought our vision to life and more! From picking the venue, selection of vendors, design process, day of coordination, to checking in consistently throughout the past 1.5 years, Michelle was truly a DREAM to work with. We really cannot thank her enough for everything. She genuinely took the time to understand our vision, making sure that every single detail was addressed. More than anything, she's been so kind, patient, thoughtful, & incredibly generous with her time from start to finish. Truly every single guest at the wedding and our family members told us numerous times how beautiful the wedding was, and how well thought out every single detail was. We loved all of our vendors.. truly, we were obsessed with all of them!! Of course, we thanked them as well, but we also wanted to give Michelle & team credit in helping us discover vendors that were the perfect fit for us. As we reflected back on the day and looked through the photos & videos, we couldn't stop smiling because of how perfect the day went! We especially appreciate how the team took care of all the little things, allowing us to truly live in the moment and soak in everything as it was happening. They were so organized & professional, and we didn't have to worry about a single thing because Michelle & team were on top of everything, including the clean up at the end of the night. We think there's so much more that can be said, but we hope these few words express how much we really appreciate Michelle and all the hard work she put into making our day so perfect.
