Awarded Best of Zola
Something Borrowed Blooms provided the most lifelike and luxurious floral arrangements for our wedding day. The bouquets, ceremony pieces and boutonnieres were all incredibly realistic and high quality, with vibrant colors and lush textures that exceeded our expectations. In fact, as my husband and I were taking photos in a park, a bee even tried to pollinate my bouquet, drawn to its beauty and realism. Getting the boxes to the venue did require a bit of coordination, but with a little help from friends we were able to easily box them up the day after the wedding and ship them off via FedEx. We saved easily 2,000 thanks to Something Borrowed and you would never know the flowers were fake.

Atelier is a unique floral boutique based in Pasaedna, CA. We are committed to bringing beautiful, unique floral arrangements to our clientele, focusing on seasonal florals and sustainable installations.

I can’t say enough good things about Emily! She went above and beyond what I had imagined for my wedding florals. From the very start, she was so quick to respond and genuinely cared about every detail. She looked through all my inspo pictures and somehow brought them to life, even better than what I had imagined! I was on a strict budget, but you’d never know it by looking at my flowers. Every arrangement looked like it came straight out of a Pinterest board.. full, elegant, and absolutely stunning. Emily worked pure magic with what I gave her, and I’m still in awe. Mak's Flowers

5.0

Pasadena, CA
  • Starts at $500

I absolutely LOVE being around flowers, and learning how to design and sell arrangements seemed like the best way I could spend more time around them, AND it’s a real treat that I get to share their beauty with others. Floral arrangements are generally considered a luxury because of how expensive they can be and it is important to me to make them more accessible. In addition to floral design services I also offer workshops and DIY flowers, which can be really fun activities for pre-wedding parties!

Our flowers were 10/10 STUNNING. Makenna (of Mak's Flowers) kicked it out of the park. We asked for the world and she delivered. 10-person wedding party grandparents corsages/boutonnieres, 2 bouquets for the couple, flowers lining the aisle during the ceremony, flowers decorating the chuppah dramatically, flowers for the welcome event, flowers for the cocktail tables and of course for the dinner tables and of COURSE the sweetheart table... you see what I'm getting at! We asked for a big lift and we got it plus so much more. Makenna is an incredibly creative soul who will not only personalize your flowers to YOU but add something you didn't even know you wanted. To illustrate the point even further: my spouse, who is a man, wanted a bouquet, much to the protestation of some family members who found it untraditional and un-masculine. Mak's Flowers is 110% queer-friendly and queer-celebrating and she got the assignment. She made a gorgeous gorgeous bouquet for my spouse that literally made those who had had reservations say "I take it all back – these are so beautiful". THAT's how good Mak is. 1 other detail: I had mentioned in passing that my mom's bouquet, when she got married, was made of daisies – and as a special touch, she put daisies in my bouquet. My mom of course noticed and told Makenna – "I had daisies in MY bouquet!" and when Makenna said that was why she put them in there, it really really touched my mom. It was just a really sweet, gorgeous moment. BOOK HER!!! BOOK HER!!!!

Emblem Flowers

5.0

Pasadena, CA

Emblem's mission is to inspire and heal the human heart through the beauty of flowers. We are a boutique floral design studio based in Pasadena, CA. We love translating our clients' vision into editorial, romantic, painterly floral designs for weddings. corporate events and special occasions, using seasonal, local product whenever possible.

Emblem flowers was such a dream to work with and brought my Springtime floral vision to life for my wedding. Leading up the wedding, Charmain was so enthusiastic and fun to talk to and strategize flowers with, really accommodating and was very conscientious of my restricted budget. I’m pretty particular about design and flowers and she did an amazing job securing the very best flowers of the season, and creating beautiful arrangements. My overall wedding design was very simple and her flowers were the stars of the show. She also gave me advice on other design details and was a springboard for design strategy. I particularly loved my bouquet, which incorporated several of my favorite flowers, along with some beautifully scented ones that made my walk down the aisle even sweeter. The men’s boutonnières were also so surprisingly cute and original, a detail that I would have considered less important (sorry, boys) but were really special. Emblem went above and beyond for my wedding, made the process fun and delivered a beautiful day.

Oh my goodness, Michelle and her entire team were absolutely the best! Michelle is such an absolute pleasure to work with and made everything so easy. Design meetings were so fun and she asked great questions and really understood what were looking for, even when we could not fully articulate it at first. She pulled up helpful example photos live and really crafted the most beautiful artistic vision. In our final design meeting, she created real example arrangements so we could see how things would look in terms of volume and with the different vase options, which was so helpful. She has a fantastic stock of different styles of vases and candles/candle holders, and it was easy to pick something beautiful. We also appreciated her design insight on candles and were really happy with the candles and arrangements we selected. We originally planned on getting married outdoors and attaching flowers to a gazebo, but it rained day-of, and Michelle gets absolute bonus points for rearranging plans at the last moment! She went to see the indoor arch option that was already available at the venue and understood we wouldn't like it, and she went out of her way to rent a beautiful arch that meshed with our artistic vision - and we LOVED it! The ceremony floral artistry was unique and so beautiful and we were so happy with how it turned out. Michelle and her team were so kind and caring and easy to work with day-of as well, we were so appreciative and happy to have them there. The personal items were beyond incredible! I loved my bouquet so much and wish I could have kept it forever, it was everything I had dreamed of and more! My husband chose the full lapel boutonniere and it turned out fantastic and looked so good! He thought it was beautiful, cool, and different, and provided visual interest. We also appreciated Michelle's attention to detail with the designs and their sizes; I am a petite woman and she crafted a bouquet that was the perfect size and not overwhelming. Closer to the wedding, tariffs were introduced, and we really appreciated Michelle's transparency and up-front communication about the different options. She provided a high degree of flexibility depending on comfort level, and it made a potentially stressful situation much easier. We were really happy with the choices she provided us. All in all, we are SO happy we chose Something's Blooming! Our guests continue to rave about the gorgeous floral designs and we are over the moon with how they turned out. Thank you so much Michelle!

      Eveni Floral Design

      5.0

      • Starts at $5,000
      • Serves Pasadena, CA

Hi, I’m Zoey. I founded Eveni based on my love for all beautiful things. I seek to design the perfectly imperfect, creating unusual yet subtle designs that reflect nature with an undiscovered beauty that is effortless and refined. It is the marriage of these two cultures which gives the work such meaning, combining beauty with balance. I love the way floristry allows me to unleash my inner artist. Putting together displays of seasonal colour and texture is at once fiercely creative and immeasurably soothing, and being able to create wedding flowers that play a part in people’s happiest memories makes it all the more rewarding.

      Awarded Best of Zola
We chose Eveni Floral Design as our wedding florists, and it may have very well been one of the best decisions we ever made to work with Zoey and Carrie. From the get go, we had a very specific design in mind that was difficult to describe. We wanted something colorful and cheery, natural and whimsical, yet elegant, refined, and tasteful. We also didn’t want just a boring classic rose-based design either, but weren’t looking to be wildly experimental. We interviewed numerous florists and provided them all with our color palette and some inspiration pictures, and while several were great, Zoey and Carrie really nailed the concept we were looking for right away. They proposed beautiful arrangements that were even more stunning during the mock-up, and were able to work with us to repurpose flowers from the ceremony for the reception. Any communication we had with them was prompt, professional, and easy to work with. They always were willing to make adjustments as we went along, and even accommodated other requests, such as making a dog collar for our dog to wear in the ceremony! And when it came to the wedding day, Zoey and Carrie absolutely blew us and our guests away. Not only were they right on time, quick in the set up, and during the transition of repurposing, the flowers themselves were PERFECT. They were all fresh, perfectly open, wonderfully vibrant, and artistically arranged. The colors of the flowers were vibrant, and their creativity in choices allowed for such a fun mix! Just looking at our bouquets brought an instant smile, they were just so cute, elegant, and playful, just like the vibe we hoped our wedding to have. And when we say our guests were absolutely floored by how absolutely lush and luxurious the florals were, we mean it. Every piece, from arch, bud vases, centerpieces, and floor arrangements had texture, height, whimsy, dimension, and color. They were neither too greenery heavy or overly stuffed with flowers. We had been to several weddings , and so had our guests (or had even gotten married themselves), and we received numerous compliments about how stunning our arch, bud vases, table set ups, and high / low centerpieces were compared to other weddings. By the end of the night, all the florals were taken by our guests! And while we had 10 tables, a full arch, innumerable bud vases and candles, and over 8 aisle pieces, Eveni Floral Design had some of the most fair/competitive pricing of all the florists in the SoCal area. We would HIGHLY recommend Eveni Floral Design for any event, big or small— they are so immensely talented, humble, and kind. We cannot thank them enough for making our wedding cohesive, beautiful, and absolutely us.

Kira is an artist first and foremost. My vision was earthy/midsommar and Kira delivered. She was so great with working in my budget which is so scary when it comes to flowers. The flowers came out so beautifully. I made everything white and ivory and told her I was leaning on her for all the color and she made it happen. I cried when I saw my Chuppah for the first time. Gabrielle's work was lovely. She was very good at understanding the style I had in mind for my flowers, which was relatively minimal but fresh. On top of that, the LA wildfires hit our venue 10 days before my event and we had to find an entirely new venue with an entirely new look. Gabrielle was able to adjust the new design to fit the new location. Looking back at my wedding photos, the florals bring a smile to my face.

Melissa is a true gem! She did the florals for our wedding ceremony and reception. She is a real artist with a vast knowledge of florals. We did a trial arrangement with her so I could visually see her work prior to wedding. She did such a stunning job with the trial I knew she was the perfect choice to do the florals for our wedding. She is a great communicator and was able to substitute flowers that I wanted that were out of season for similar flowers that were in season. Her and her team also brought the flowers from the ceremony and repurposed them for the reception. We were so thrilled with how everything turned out and we got so many compliments on the flowers. They really livened up the tables and were the center of our wedding aesthetic. Thank you so much Melissa for your artistry and professionalism. You made us so confident that we knew you were the perfect florist for us. If you need flowers for your wedding Melissa should be your number one choice!

There are no words to describe the experience that is working with Sami and her amazing, wonderful team at Rebel Creative Co. From the moment I inquired, I felt an overwhelming sense that she truly cared about our event, treated it as a work of art, felt like family, and was truly EXCITED about our big day!! This was exactly what we were looking for when choosing our team of wedding vendors. Throughout the planning process, Sami was adaptable to changes in our design, and expertly adjusted according to our hopes and dreams. We really appreciated that she had an unwavering commitment to keeping us within budget - something that is truly rare among vendors and means more than I can even say. Girl & the Flower started out of a love for gardening and flowers! I first discovered my love for floral design when I created the floral centerpieces for my sister-in-law’s wedding and it grew ever since. I always found myself making arrangements for various events for my friends and family – and eventually, I decided that it was time to take on a new adventure and that's when Girl & the Flower bloomed into a business

I recently had the pleasure of working with Girl and the flower for our client's wedding. This was a very big wedding, with a very short amount of set up time, and a lot of changes. Everything turned out beautifully! Communication, attention to detail, responsiveness was all on point which I appreciate so much as a planner. I would highly recommend Girl and the flower and cant wait to work together again!
